Not having Wifi at airport it is unacceptable.
Moreover the structure was designed for 1.5 million passengers/year and currently there is an overload of 1 million passengers.
Would give 3 stars anyway if they had the decency to put a l wifi, but apparently it doesn't seem to be a necessity.

Expensive tickets compared to other region capitals

There are buses from the center of Tirana, and the simple construction is not bad.

I came in with my Indian passport (with B1/B2 USA visa) and no Albanian visa. The airport is small and cute, reminded me of the airport in Long Beach. The immigration held me up for a few minutes while they looked through my passport, but let me go promptly after a few questions. There's a few ATMs right next to baggage pickup to withdraw local currency. The road from the airport to the city of Tirana is very modern and clean. Everyone seemed friendly!

To be the only national airport it is not very big. It has almost everything, even a supermarket. Taxi drivers are a little pushy there. They could also improve public transport to the city center a bit, another negative point is that there is no Wifi in most of the airport

It's ok overall. I just wish they'd have working free Wi-Fi, as it's been over 5 years that I see the same problem.

I have never seen such an important airport (while it is the only one in the region) just as small, with no jetbridge, and high taxes !!

Bad airport, very dirty, roaches that run in the bar area ... For more there is no bar or restaurant that accepts credit cards ..... only cash. ... At an international airport it is shameful. ....

The airport is small, there is an exchanger, an ATM, free Wi-Fi. Baggage was unloaded quickly.

Small and clean airport, that's a good part. But in duty free you can't pay with card under 5 Euro and in the only restaurant you CAN'T pay with card at all. That's really really REALLY lame and far away from European standards. Oh, and withdrawal from ATM costs 12 Euro!

No online check in, few speak a language other than Albanian. Rather dirty and few seating.

Great small airport, Ive always had a great experience. Staff were good, clean toilets and good cafe! Not too far from the city and cheap Private transfer service with Inspire Me World Travel.

Albanians are traveling with the most expensive prices in Europe. Rates at the airport starting from parking in the bar service within 1 cafe costs 170 lek. more than in malpensa in milano ... some say I have many but I do not prolong ...

Nothing to say about cleanliness and controls ... but the ground staff should be trained on communication, I don't speak language (I know Albanian) but on behavior ... arrogant rude and arrogant ... especially when they don't know that answers to give ... they should be more polite and less surly ... even a supervisor (according to him from the gate and check-in department) when asking for explanations (always in a very polite way on my part) ... yes turned and went away telling me ... I don't know what to do ...
There is no Wizzair company staff inside the airport and this certainly involves a general indifference in the phase of controversy situations ...

Small airport with few shopping opportunities. Within the security check, you can not buy food or drink by card! There is also no cash machine.

Failure, you can't pay by card, underdeveloped cafes

A cup of 23 kg and a cup of 16 kg are apparently more than 40 kg. Stupid cross-eyed cow behind check-in.

Small, few shops and quite useless, zero restaurants, zero places to ask for information if your flight is 5 hours late, wifi does not work in almost any area.

Small and very efficient Airport. Only 1 Terminal and 6 Gates. Usually no delays. Less than 20 minutes drive from Tirana Center. Its always ok to be there 1 hour before your bording.

Clean, small airport, but there is no shop to get bottle of water. If You need to get something to drink , You must go to restaurant where small bottle of coca cola is 2,8 eur, compare to that 200 ml local Brandy in duty free shop 3 eur - so it is looks like is cheaper to be drunk in this palce. That is why only two stars. You really need improve Your service there lads.

just like any other place in the world you have a mixture of personality and the only thing they have to work on is the lowest respect that the police have for the public they forget that they come from the people and when they are not in the uniform they are the people. that's all otherwise give Albania 10 more years and is the best place to be for a holiday

Intimate airport, with very friendly service. Beautiful views during landing, short waiting time for luggage and for check-in. Clean toilets with lots of cabins and sinks. One star less for broken wifi in the arrival hall (it works correctly in the departure hall).

This review is for the gates check in staff which is Very unprofessional staff, especially BLERINA ,RUDE and UNEDUCATED ,uninformed and ridiculous. They didn't give me a logical reason why they didn't allow me to board with some wooden stuff ,which is not risky at all and is not listed as risky hazards for the plane. Worthless to say more,I know I'm wasting my time Writing this review because noone would give a sh*t.

Regularly no functioning WiFi and very bad public transit connections to the city. During covid, they had absolutely terrible crowd control.

After going through security gates, forget about exchange offices and there are only two shops and one bar, it's hard to call them duty-free.

A clean and modern airport with short distances and good organization and sufficient food and shopping.

Very small and homely airport. Passport control speed is sufficient, transactions are fast. When you leave the country, it takes a little while because passport control takes 1 hour if there are two or three planes, which makes the planes delay, in some cases you may even miss the plane. Therefore, you should enter the passport queue 20 minutes before you are normally used to. There is no dutyfree area and a few shops are available. The price of goods sold in shops is normal. Free parking for up to 4min.

Before the covid it was a small convenient efficient airport. Now with the USELESS procedure of making people wait in long lines outside it seems like one of the many stages of ridiculous government stupidity

Forget about social distancing in this airport. Nobody does not control it. Long sequence on passport control.

There is no Masjid or anyplace to pray, besides even it is very small however the process goes with slow motion. Need to train the staff to work more quickly.

The speed of entry screening varies greatly from person to person in charge.

No support for mobile boarding passes, broken wifi, poorly stocked shop in the duty free zone.

The stff is not friendly and the passport control took very very long

Service staff could be better educated for public/customer relations... Everything else is fine and clean as it should be.
