I bought my dress at Bella Mia Bridal!!! My bridal party and I got great attention and felt taken care of through the whole appointment. After I bought my dress I wanted some unique alterations. Anna went above and beyond to make them work. So thankful for such a great experience!! I would recommend this place to any bride looking for great service.
Literally was THE BEST experience I ever had while dress shopping. The staff (particularly Olivia) made me feel so comfortable. She was so friendly and personable and never made me feel rushed. I found Bella Mia on Google, and decided to take a day and drive to Hamilton with my mom. They have such a big selection of gorgeous wedding dresses for all styles, sizes and tastes. I wasn't planning on finding the dress that day, but Anna and my mom pulled a few dresses, and I found the one! Anna & Olivia are amazing, they are so helpful and kind. Even though we've only met them a few times, we feel like we've been friends for years. Check out Bella Mia, you won't be disappointed :)

If you are debating a Bridal Salon - I can assure you this is 1000 times better than anywhere you have been. Don t believe me - just walk in and meet the ladies. They made me feel beautiful and confident ... when I didn t. Let s be honest - wedding dress shopping can be a horrible experience just as well as amazing.

I would give Bella Mia a 10/5 if I could. Even though BM caters to plus size beauties, they were more than happy to order in my David Tutera dream dress.
I was living in Texas and had a horrible experience with paperwork in the US. I was unable to get my dress when I needed to, but they were more than accommodating and genuinely cared about me. When I did come to get my Dress... Hurricane Harvey happened and I had to go home to take care of our flooded Car! Bella Mia were so unbelievably understanding and told me to do what I need to and they will hold my dress for me! And they did. They called to make sure I was ok. These ladies - mother and daughter team treated me like I was family, not a client. They were the only thing that went right during the wedding planning. I couldn t imagine going anywhere else and if anyone is debating Bella Mia over another place, the service is better than anywhere I have ever heard of or could imagine. Trust me. When you re planning a wedding - one less stress is always a good thing! Thanks ladies for being so wonderful. Don t ever ever change. Keep making all brides of all sizes and shapes feel as beautiful as they are. Also - they were 1000% right about the veil they chose for me. Even though my mom pushed me to get one ( like moms do) thier choice really made my dress look even better!!!
But most of all - I thank them for being honest and telling me what they thought really looked good and what didn t. I love that they weren t looking for a sale but just genuinely trying to make me look like a rockstar on my day and didn t push me to buy anything.
I love you guys!!! I ll send Bella Mia pics of my wedding day! I don t want to say I looked better than a movie star ( but I did hahaha) or at least I felt it. I felt the way a bride should. I couldn t stop smiling. I thought of the two Bella Mia ladies smiling at me when I tried my dress on... as I walked down the aisle. I have full confidence that all Bella Mia brides feel that way on their special day.

I have 1000% confidence in thier online extension to thier business. I know they are honestly and genuinely care about brides and making them look fabulous and being happy on thier day.
Also - getting my dream dress less expensive than any store literally in all of Ontario was also a huge bonus. Yes... I was that bride that called all the stores that carried David Tutera to find out how to get the dress from the bridal magazine and how to get it at a decent price. That s may have also been why I love them so much!! Hahaha weddings are expensive! Be prepared to spend at least 5k more than you could imagine. Save where and when you can!! Thanks Bella Mia!! Xoxox
As a curvy bride, it's hard to feel comfortable when looking for a beautiful dress. The moment that I walked into the door, I felt like I was home. Anna made this experience amazing and so easy. Trying on different dresses and styles to ensure that I would find the one I love and Anna even recommended a few choices (which I ended up selecting one of her choices). I will definitely be recommending Bella Mia!
I am so happy this was the last bridal store of 3 we went to the day I went to find my wedding dress. Not only did they have the most amount of options for me (in many different sizes) but the prices were good as well. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Had an amazing time at Bella Mia Bridal. From the minute we walked in it was a personal experience. It didn t feel like they were just trying to make a sale. My appointment ended up being 2 hours but flew by. We had the store to ourselves for hours which was so nice. So many sizes to chose from with a great selection that is always changing. Lots of dresses you normally only see for smaller women available for plus size women to try on. Really makes you feel great to be able to truly try on the dress.
Such a stress free experience and left super happy. For any nervous plus size brides this is your place. You ll feel like the beautiful woman you are!
Loved this place! Went here on the weekend and tried on multiple dresses, had the pleasure of working with one of the young ladies there and she was so helpful I wish I remembered her name. She helped me in and out of every dress zipped me up kept bringing me more they were just so wonderful. I didn't find my dress here but it was a great experience!

Bella Mia fills a real need in the bridal market! It is lovely as a plus size bride to go somewhere you can actually try stuff on in a private, welcome, lovely environment. Would recommend it for a plus sized bride or even for a bride with bridesmaids of all sizes...would make the experience fun for all...not just fun for small!
Went with mother in law to be last weekend for bridal gown appt which was unpleasant. Dress consultant showed no sign of enthusiasm and more than enough blank stares with crossed arms. Showed signs of annoyance and felt rushed. Few snarky comments made and very unwelcoming from beginning to end.
A modern concept shop with large private rooms and with magical music. The ladies gave me an Ipad and I selected the dresses I wanted to try and it was brought out to me on a rack. Super organized. We also decided to go with a pampered appointment with my girls. Totally worth it! The desserts were so good! Thank you!
I was looking for a dress that was sold out at another location. Unfortunately, not many stores carried the dress. I had to get the dress urgently. I was able to find out online that Bella Mia Bridal was one of few stores in Canada that carried the same dress/could order it for me. Anna from the store did a great job not only ordering the dress for me on short notice, but also got it to me well in advance of when I needed it by. All of this without me even having to visit their store. She was pleasant to deal with and kept me up to date every step of the way. The service was prompt, friendly and professional.

Our bride booked the champagne deal. The staff were very helpful and patient as our party was fairly large and we wanted to try several different dresses. We all ordered our dresses from there. Would recommend 100%
I had a wonderful time shopping for my wedding dress here. We felt welcome from the beginning. This was important as it was my first time dress shopping and an introduction I attempted to have at another shop went very poorly.
Olivia was lovely and provided me with a tablet to choose some dresses from. She had a rack ready within 5 min of me handing over the tablet and she kindly helped me in and out of each dress.
The owner came and introduced herself and offered some advice about choosing a dress. They helped take me from a nervous customer to one that knew what she wanted.
We returned to buy the dress and I got to ceremoniously ring the bell and They hugged me with such sincerity. The whole experience was wonderful and I am glad my beautiful dress was hiding on their rack!
They do have a nice selection of dresses and very elegant but I waited with no help from anybody who worked there until I was there for over 15 minutes. Not sure why when it wasn t even very busy at the time
I had only been dress shopping for a few weeks and by coincidence I ended up stopping by. I told the assistant I want a specific size and budget, unlike several other stores they didn't work with my budget and tried pushing me into dresses that I couldn't afford.
These ladies understood my budget and brought me several dresses in my price range. I saved $1700 on my dress, I am extremely grateful for these two women, Who helped me find my dream dress.
I had a great experience here! I didn't end up finding THE dress, but Anna was very helpful, honest, and the dresses they had in store were beautiful! I definitely recommend the store to anyone in the area, especially if you're plus size, as they actually have plus size dresses to try on, unlike other stores that offer plus size dresses to buy but don't carry them in store to try on. They also carry a range of price points from about $300 to $2000.

I am insecure and never loved myself in anything.. I found my dream dress.. the best dress in the world. I would not change it for the world. Staff is so kind caring and helpful. I never thought it possible in my size to get a dress that I love but I did. Even though I was stickler on a budget the staff helped me find the perfect dress (and accessories) I'm so thankful I cant even put it into words. I am now so so excited bc I have the perfect dress all thanks to a whirl wind visit last minute which I was totally surprised when I was so well looked after. Thank you perfusly
rude and unaccommodating
When I told her my date, she scoffed and said, is there some reason why it s so last minute? Shocked, I told her I had just gotten engaged and my wedding was in February. Instead of letting me browse the store to see what I liked, she continued to ask what I wanted. Finally, I said, I really don t know what I m looking for because this is all new to me. She also didn t seem too happy about the fact that I had a budget to work with. Bottom line: very pushy and rude for someone with an empty store on a Friday night.
We drove all the way from Waterloo and made an appointment well in advance for my girls for trying on bridesmaids dresses. We came specifically for one dress, this could've taken 10 minutes but instead was almost an hour because it took forever to get attention because we weren't a bride. They also moved my girls from separate fitting rooms into one together so they could accommodate a walk in bride. My girls didn't know each other well before hand but I guess it was forced bonding. Was very disappointed. Wouldn't make the drive for bridesmaids but they seem to care more about brides so brides may have better luck.
Such a beautiful store located in the heart of down town Hamilton. This store is simply beautiful and intriguing from the minute you set eyes on their display window. I did not buy my wedding dress from here, but I was getting tired of looking for a hair accessory as we all know anything bridal can be super expensive. However, Bella Mia I found to be extreamly affordable. I found a beautiful blinged out head piece for such a great price-My Gosh! I also got chatting with the owner and she is such a wonderful woman who you can tell is experienced and knows her stuff. You can tell she is someone who enjoys the industry. She informed me that Bella Mia is special because they offer Glam Appointments where you come in with your bridal party and a d enjoy desserts and Champagne while the bride tries on dresses. Such an elegant and classy experience. I would recommend this Bridal store to anyone!

What a wonderful experience to choose my wedding dress. More than 100 dresses to select from. A nice change when the dresses really do fit and you can see what you look like in them.
Really didn't enjoy going to other stores. While they can source your size you will never really know what it looks like unless you can try it on.
The drive or the flight is worth it to have that magical bride experience.
It's no wonder some of her clients traveled as far away as europe!!

I had the absolute pleasure of visiting this local mom & daughter owned shop over the weekend as I searched for my Wedding Dress. I, unfortunately, did not pick a dress from their collection (I fell in love with a dress earlier on in the day and just couldn't get over it haha!), but they have a wide availability of affordable and beautiful dresses available at their store that came very close to the one I ended up choosing. The mother/daughter team we had the joy of working with were extremely knowledgable and understanding of what I was looking for and comfortable in. The store is beautiful and easy to reach. They are VERY safe and COVID-friendly in interacting with brides and their guests with lots of hand sanitizer and masks.
The service was impeccable and smooth with full attention focused on us and a deep understanding of what we were looking for. Change rooms were very large and it's almost like you were given your own semi-private room to try things on while your guests waited. I would 100% a trip to this store for any bride (even outside of the Hamilton area) because they are a fantastic store and business to support!

Went to Bella Mia today for my Sister in Laws dress measurements. The owner of the store was helping her and was so wonderful to work with. She was kind and very helpful.
My SIL was looking for a unique wedding black ballgown and Bella Mia had the perfect dress! It was available in nude with black lace but were able to ask the designer to create it with black lace and black satin underneath.
My SIL was very worried about finding her unique dress but she found it quickly at Bella Mia! Beautiful gowns and top quality customer service.
I also bought a hair piece there for my own wedding at such a great price. I highly recommend Bella Mia for anyone looking for a unique dress or someone looking for a very personalized experience.
I saw a wedding dress at the fashion show at the Niagara Wedding Show in 2015 that turned out to be from Bella Mia Bridal. I'm not from Hamilton, but I loved the dress so much that I made the trip to the shop to try it on. That one wasn't the one...
But that's where my adventure with this amazing shop begins. Anna and Olivia are the nicest, most wonderful women on the planet and helped me, my bridesmaids and mom and mother-in-law find ALL our dresses for my wedding. (Some of us plus-size and some of us not.)
They were so accommodating with the fact that some of my bridal party had to pay over the phone or by e-mail because none of us live in the city.
They helped me find THE dress! They offered suggestions on how to add some colour to it and where to get it altered. And they hand-crafted the birdcage I wore in my hair!
In addition to that, they helped me to feel great about the whole process. The environment is friendly, and welcoming. All shapes and sizes are welcome, accepted and made to feel beautiful.

Went to Bella Mia today for my first time trying on any wedding dresses. Anna and her daughter are AMAZING. I cannot say enough nice things about them. They are honest, laid back, no pushy sales tactics. They have such a big selection of plus sized gowns, I was able to try on so many silhouettes, natural waist, drop waist, fit and flare, mermaid, ball gown. My wedding is still a year and a half away and I'm pretty sure I found my dress. I highly recommend Bella Mia bridal for any bride, just a small family run local business and the ladies are just too amazing :) can't wait to go back next weekend and try it on again for my Dad and probably order!! :):):)

Had an Amazing experience, both Anna and Olivia were extreanly supportive and helpful. Very comfortable environment and they helped work with in my budget. A huge plus is that they have everything you need in one spot for great prices- was extreamly thankful that they even do custom garters as it is almost impossible to find plus size garters.
Would highly recommend to any plus size brides and or bridesmaids needing dresses.

The only interaction I had with this company was to order my dress the bride picked out and to inquire about the status of the dress being ordered. Unless you're the bride they don't want to hear from you. They want your money but when asking about the status of a dress I paid for, I was treated poorly. The customer service sucks. I work in customer service industry so I know to give people breaks and try again but my communication with them was terrible. You would think they would treat customers better because I would have been a potential customer for my own wedding. I was trying to help my bride out because she has a million tasks but this place made it difficult. They told me have the bride call. Please work on customer service skills. The dress kept being delayed for coming in so they should be understanding of our concerns.
Amazing customer service, like THE BEST i got at any dress shop (and i went to a lot of them). The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is that the staff insisted they put the gowns on you, and i was not comfortable with that AT ALL and they wont let you take pictures. All the other shops would let you get into dresses and then do it up for you, so if you're shy like me this may be an issue as well. Also, I found it hard to see what i liked on myself without taking a picture! They had a great selection and i LOVED that the dresses ACTUALLY fit, unfortunately i ended up going with another store as a gown there caught my eye more than the ones i tried at Bella Mia.
This is the ONLY bridal shop in Hamilton that any plus size bride should bother going into! The first thing that I loved were the beautiful dressing areas and vibe the second you walk in. Secondly, the staff (the owner and her daughter) were so AMAZING! Friendly, kind, patient and helpful. WOW. They will dress you, strap you and tuck you in every dress lol! I had an appointment in the morning and couldn't decide on a dress so I left for lunch and thought it over. I returned after lunch and they still gave me their time and even pulled a couple more dresses for me! I literally spent most of the day here and felt totally welcomed. I am so thankful! Needless to say, after being undecided (all the dresses were beautiful which made it so hard to choose one lol) I purchased my dress here! Can't wait for it to come in!
