I registered with Bell Cornwall and a little over a month later, have secured a permanent full-time role. They were constantly in touch before and after the interview process, really helpful and friendly. Thanks so much Mike, Charlotte and Grace. Looking forward to starting my new role.

These neanderthals know nothing about running a business. They don't want to help you, and couldn't care less about you. It has to be a joke; the only reason I can think of for such disgusting behaviour, from Charlotte especially. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU.

Having worked with agencies previously. Bell Cornwall I must say was an absolute dream to work with.
I first walked in due to being made redundant amd was welcomed by Rachel. From the get go she was fantastic, she understood my requirements and even introduced me to her wider team, Jeremy again was also very knowledgable, expereinced and great to work and communicate with.
They made me feel welcome and never pushed for anything, rather they communicated and understood needs from me and potential employers.
I had been offered a couple of roles from direct employers however Jeremy & Rachel informed me of a role which was a perfect match for me, Rachel made herself available at all times for support and helped me secure the role the I wanted.

I have worked with various agencies across the country and the Bell Cornwall team are head and shoulders above them all. We have consistently recruited through them and the calibre of individuals they always send to interview are first class, they really have got to understand our business and the high demands we have, I have lost count of the number of individuals they have sourced for us in the 6 years we have been doing business with them. The best recruitment agency I've ever worked with. Really professional, friendly service. I love how they really care about placing you for interviews they think would suit you, not just anything that they have going. I would definitely recommend them and would go to them for any future job hunts.

Highly recommend. I have been looking for a graduate job so thought it would be a good idea to pop into their office in Birmingham to have a quick chat about what I was looking for and see if they could help.

One of their amazing recruiters called Rachel said she had client looking for a graduate administrator and their offices were local to where I live. I was very interested and asked if she could put me forward - this was on the Tuesday morning. I was then called on Thursday by Bell Recruitment to inform me that the client wanted to see me for an interview the following Tuesday. I was called the day before my interview to ensure I was prepared and ready, as well as called after my interview to see how it went. I felt very supported the whole way through.

On Wednesday morning, I got call from Bell Recruitment saying I had been offered the job.

After being told I was at risk of redundancy I sent my cv over to Bell Cornwall over a weekend and received a call on Monday from Rachel. We had a brief conversation around my circumstances and what I was looking for and what may be suitable for me and agreed to schedule in a Skype interview for the Friday. Rachel called me promptly and we discussed in detail my previous experience, interests and the possibility of an interview with a company local to me who she felt I would be a good fit for. I gave my availability and minutes after the call an interview was scheduled in for the following week. Rachel was at hand for anything I needed and even sent me a good luck text message which was really thoughtful. The following Friday (only a week after my Skype interview with Rachel) I was informed of the brilliant news that I had been offered the role! I have never known such a professional yet approachable recruitment company. Nothing was too much trouble and their response time is incredible - you are not kept waiting and wondering at all. I must say, the staff seem very friendly, but it is crystal clear that meeting their targets overshadows any genuine interest in finding you the right role.
After specifically requesting that I not be considered for FTC s during my initial interview, I was contacted the next day for a 3 month, fixed term role. I politely declined, but the agent wasn t taking no for an answer.
I then received a text message a week later suggesting that they had found a potential role, but on calling to discuss, found that this was a scam so that they could get in touch and do some damage control. I explained AGAIN why I was not interested in a FTC and she tried to badger me into it again anyway!
If you just want a job or some office experience, then I m sure they re fine. If you re in any way particular about what you re looking for, I suggest you look elsewhere. these guys are all about figures, not service.

A very positive experience for me. I found Bell Cornwall to be very professional and very quick to reply to my questions, via phone, email or text messages. The initial interview with them is fairly long but I can see it was to gain as much information about you in order for them to put you forward for "good fit" jobs/company. There are also some online proficiency tests. It had been 10+ years since I'd had a job interview and everything went smoothly. I would definitely use them again if I needed to change jobs.

A complete shambles. Have spoken to a lot of agencies in Birmingham this being the worst. Rude. Arrogant. Down right pathetic. They disgregade anything you say or have done. I know having spoken to a lot of people this place will be gone for eventually! Better going to other agencies like Katie Bard or even hays!!! Avoid like the plague!!!

Pretty awful... it seems there are lots of jobs on job webites from them for various positions but if you call up they are adamant there is nothing?!? Hmm... also they call you up for no reason when they don't have anything just wanting an update? Far better to call when you have some work surely?!? After applying for a position I was contacted by Charlie, he invited me to come in to have an interview/chat about me and my experience. I really struggled in finding a job straight after leaving university however all the staff here were so friendly and helpful in finding me a job that not only was related to the legal field but that was specifically suited and tailored to exactly what field I wanted to progress in to the very fine details. Mahsa,Rachel and Emily all had excellent response times and coached me through the whole interview process giving me very beneficial tips. After signing up with Bell Cornwall, the recruiters managed to secure me an interview within a week which I was really pleased with. Even after securing my role the team have been so so supportive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for legal work, I am so happy with the role they helped me get into.

Having previously worked for Bell Cornwall I know that their morals are in the right place. They will not put individuals forward for jobs that they are not suited to. They are not a volume recruiter, they take the time to understand their clients' and candidates' needs and therefore create longstanding relationships. I have recommended friends and family to them time and time again. I would quite happily continue to do so. I also know if I were ever looking for a role again, I would certainly contact them to help me.

In response to 1 star reviews. Here are a few things that recruiters will be too polite to tell you:

1. You are hard work. That's why you're not getting calls about jobs that you think you're suited to. Take your ego elsewhere.

2. Recruiters don't take a cut from you. The client pays them and this in no way affects your salary offering. It's actually in a recruiters best interest to negotiate you a higher salary.

3. Bell Cornwall do not post fake ads. Adverts however get ripped off by websites like Indeed who keep them up for months or years without you ever actually posting there. It happens A LOT. Post an Ad on Reed for 28 days and it shows up 3 months later somewhere you've never even heard of.

4. For the law grad moaning about not getting a legal job - a law degree and LPC does not guarantee you a job in one of the most competitive industries. Take that from someone who has worked for a top tier US firm.

5. Lack of comms - human error. Have you ever worked in this level of recruitment or recruitment in general? You are likely receiving upwards of 200 applications via email per day, 50 phone calls, interviewing for 4-6hrs per day. Sometimes people get missed. It's called being human.

I promise you, there are not many recruitment companies out there that genuinely care, that are run by nicer people and are NOT solely KPI focused.

Facts!!!

I have been looked after so well by Grace and the team! They have always very quickly found me appropriate placements, and I've really thrived in some of them. They are quick to respond, and always just a phone call away. Any issues I have had, they've been quick to resolve. I feel as though I'm working for an organisation who aren't just looking to put people in placements, but they actually care.

Grace suggested I consider temporary work which I was unsure about at first as it wasn't something I'd done before, but after I decided to go for it, I was met with a fantastic opportunity to stay on permanently in a role that was more suitable for me. Useless recruitment agency. I felt as though they didn't even try and help me find work, don't waste your time with them.

Signed up to this agency. Spend a lot of time filling out forms etc.. I then had a 'interview' over whatsapp which was an hour or so long. This interview was filled with questions which were not possible to answer without revealing personal things. I gave a broad answer to these questions which were followed by them asking for specifics, to which I gave them. Some of these were upsetting for me to mention but I thought well i need to explain if I'm going to get a job. After this interview and exposing personal aspects of my life and the fact that I was also dyslexic I have received absolutely no correspondence at all. I have not been put forward or been contacted about a single legal role despite the fact that my CV is 3 pages full of experience. I am clueless as to why this has happened but i know its disgusting.
