Conveniently located hotel. The Kempinski Hotel in Beijing appears a bit outdated compared to newer luxury hotels in Beijing. Anyway it s far from bad and very clean. If you go there, try the Kempinski Deli with some great bakery specialties.
I always like to live here when I'm in Beijing.
Now after the grandiose renovation of the rooms again more! ;-)
The service is excellent and the rooms are well maintained and the location of the hotel is more than wonderful
I went to this hotel with my friends last year and liked the facilities of the hotel. Although the style is old but has the feeling of old-fashioned star-rated hotels, it is also necessary that the staff at the front desk have a good attitude and feel cordial. To this hotel.
Great Place & Excellent staff
Stayed for one week and we really love this hotel. Room is spacious and really clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Clean and tidy hotel. Not recommended for beer drinking, prices were off the charts.
Great place to stay. Kempinski is always my choice. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Room Is newly renovated.
Hotel is great. has all the amenities you need to feel home away from home. On top you get all you need from traditional german beer to traditional german cold cuts. more bavarian style though...
I have stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center a number of times now and I have to admit that each time was highly enjoyable. Travelling on business it provides just about every service one could need - and that with a smile on their faces. The freshly renovated rooms an even more luxurious experience than in the past.
A special thanks goes out to the "Ladies in Red". The customer service provided by these highly trained hospitality professionals is exceptional with an unobstrusive and yet dedicated demeanor.
Centrally located, right next to a subway station, nice restaurants in the hotel and nearby make this hotel an easy choice for any business traveller.
Overall, a prime example of ruthless German efficiency. ;-)
It's very professional and sophisticated. All personnels reflect the sophistication of Kempinski traditions. You feel comfortable in there. It is also a harmony of Chinese and German hospitality.
Excellent service at Reception Desk and Concierge. Friendly and helpful staff. It s been one of the best I have met. Strongly recommend to all who wants to travel to Beijing. Best place for stay.
Best location for foreigners in Beijing. Good service and friendly staff. Close to the airport and located in the most interesting district. Only a few minutes to Sanlitun with bars, restaurant, shops and clubs. The garden is like a green oasis in the city. One of the few hotels you can sit outside at breakfast and relax. Two gyms and a pool. Would recommend for business trips as well as for holidays.
We, my wife and our 12 year old daughter are temporarily accommodated here in the apartment wing for a good 4 weeks. Our search for an apartment in the meantime was successful so we move out as planned at the end of September. The app. are appropriately furnished but there is a lack of working material in the small kitchen
such as dishes and glasses, kitchen utensils. The twice-weekly cleaning we ordered is below average. Overall, however, we felt we were in good hands, extremely friendly staff and good restaurant service except for the Paulaner. The kitchen service was definitely not worth the money. We'll be back, we'll be in Beijing for a few more years!
Rooms are great, you're going to feel comfortable and at ease staying here. Plus the location in the city is perfect, easy subway access and right next to 3rd ring road. My personal favorite - Paulaner restaurant on site and it's legit! Breakfast buffet hit it out of the park too. Trust me - you'll love it here.
Really not a good experience for me. A/C didn't work in the room, water from bathtube had a brown color and it was forbidden to use it even to clean the tooth. Moreover in those days there were some renovations work and then starting from 7.00 am it was impossible to have rest.
Perfekter Service, hervorragendes Ambiente, absolut "First" class
Really nice hotel (western style) in the wider city centre. Offering full scope of services. The hotel is part of the Lufthansa office centre so you can do shopping, take massage or go to restaurants and cafes while still being under one roof. The Paulaner beer house is just round the corner, still in the Lufthansa complex.
Best hotel in Beijing. Located in Beijing's embassy area surrounded by bars and restaurants for all budgets and near the 3rd road ring.
The hotel has 5 restaurants, 2 bars , the main attraction being the Paulaner Brauhaus , where after 18 o'clock hardly find a free spot.
Rooms are large and very clean , baths are comfortable and you get the good rest after a busy day
Praise, bread is quite famous in Beijing, and the Italian restaurant is very delicious.
The former staff is very friendly, the room is very comfortable and the location is very convenient.
More than 10,000 presidential suites lived. Overall, the hotel facilities may not be able to keep up. The toilet in the living room will automatically lock, let the staff open, did not open, and found a staff to open. As a result, I locked myself the next day, and I didn't need this toilet. I didn't bother the staff. They said that they wouldn't lock the button on the door handle, but we didn't press it. During the 11th stay, it was cold and humid. The staff said that there was no cold wind and only cold wind, so I didn't fall asleep in the cold and wet quilt. The small round mirror with the lamp in the toilet is too high to pull down, so the makeup is put on the foot. The environment is generally satisfactory, but the service facilities should be upgraded to be worthy of the Kempinski brand and the price of 10,000.
Simply a lovely place. Spacious.
Love the restaurants especially the Signature's.
Ultra friendly staff.
It's been quite a while since I was here for the last time, but here is my review: At this hotel I can not fault it. The rooms are big, neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and take care of everything and the breakfast buffet is the best I have ever got in a hotel. Just a top
Sleep really badly for once and really bad service. I arrived and was greeted with a completely incorrectly prepared registration form at check-in, even though our Chinese colleague registered everything in advance. It contained all the personal data of a foreign German and I was supposed to write my data over his.
They gave me and my colleague who was traveling with me rooms next to each other. When entering the room, they were completely overheated, as is usual in China, and an attempt to turn it down also failed. The attempt to lock the room door unfortunately also failed due to a mechanical defect. Since I was very ko from the trip, I took a shower and then drove to the Executive Lounge to work with my colleagues there. The staff were nice and helpful.
I then described my problems with the door to my Chinese colleagues, who then presented my concern. The hotel then promised me a new room with an upgrade as compensation. I then packed my things in the room and went to dinner.
When I asked at the reception, I got a new room key on my return and was excited about my new room.
Nothing happened with regard to the upgrade, I was in the same room and apart from my suitcases, nothing happened. But there was a little fruit!
I was really disappointed because I know it completely different from other hotels and also much more appreciative.
At breakfast, the service staff put the opened jam jars back in the stands on the table.
When checking out I was asked if everything was okay, I said no, but apart from I'm sorry, nothing came up. Only when a German-speaking employee at the reception heard the conversation did she apologize and say that she cannot save anything for this visit but that she will make a note of something for my next visit.
I am very disappointed with the Kempinski in Beijing.
Beautiful a spacious rooms, newly renovated and high end. The service is great staff friendly and always smiling.
I stayed at Kempinski Hotel with my family in Jan. The experience was expressive. We received warm welcome by reception and bellboy. The bellboy showed us room facilities and explained all information of hotel restaurants. Breakfast was full of choices. Easy access to metro which can bring you to everywhere in the city.
Nice hotel in the embassies area. Well organized and great place to stay.
A super warm welcome at the reception desk, charming competent service of the "Ladies in Red", courteous friendly luggage service!
An upgrade to the 16th makes us happy! The renovation result is impressive! Harmonious room, designer bathroom.
A good place with a very efficient and friendly staff. Most recommended.
We had an enjoyable stay during our vacation. Friendly staff, attentive service and delicious breakfast from the restaurant. My family appreciate it very much and definitely come back again when we visit Beijing!
Newly renovated, central to everything ma wants to do. Friendly staff.
Nice Hotel getting now a bit old and some renovations in the room would be nice. Wifi in the rooms is not working well on all floors.
Luxury, service and security in one of Beijing's most exclusive neighborhoods. The Landmark River behind the hotel should be better maintained
Nice hotel with a mostly European standard. Very nice pool/fitnessarea with a great view. Breakfast is fresh and offers a big variety of mostly European food, tableservice for tea/coffee. Perfect for business trips as the lounge and waiting area offers space for small groups waiting for each other or summarizing a day. Rooms are clean, beds very cosy. Bathroom has a bathtub. Roomservice works perfectly, all the staff speaks English and some even German, very helpful concierge in the lobby.
Dining in this Chinese restaurant, special quiet, the service staff is very attentive, for so many dishes, I feel that fried rice is particularly delicious.
I love the food of this place! The fried rice is very tasty to the point that for me this is the best place to eat 'Chinese food' in the whole area. The price is reasonable and one combination platter is good for two people. I never seat inside and eat, since it has more of a 'to go' atmosphere. The front desk worker might appear rude because he seems indifferent , but by no means has be ever been rude to me. So I have no problem with the service there. They are to the point, and the price is very reasonable.
The staff here are genuinely warm and professional. Nothing is out of place. Its spotlessly clean, well maintained, retains its traditional character. All in all, its the best I've stayed at, and the prices reasonable too.
My 3rd trip this year to Beijing and again staying with this excellent hotel. Newly renovated room is just perfect. German food and beer is good as always. First time dining in the Chinese resturant, suprisingly impressed. Front desk team is so nice, helpful and profession. A real choice for value money. A highly recommeded hotel.
Excellent hotel, one of the best if not the best I have ever seen. The staff is amazing I had multiple touch points and their delivery was always spot on. Food and room quality also out of the ordinary. Can only say thank you for the amazing experience.
A good hotel but not a luxury hotel. Five stars for the bedding (great pillows and comforter) but only 4 stars for breakfast and 3 stars maximum for the gym/swimming pool area (only two showers in the pool area rather than in the standard lockers area, where there is no toiletries, no sauna, etc. and the gym is small). Plenty of restaurants to choose from, Deli is open late at night (you can not only buy deserts or bread but also German cold cuts). Service is fluctuating depending on the areas and the personnel, from cold and annoying to really nice.
