Kempinski Shenzhen

Good hotel, located in area with shopping malls and restaurants. Close to metro station. Nice and good English speaking staff.

Nice business hotel in Shenzhen, near several restaurant options and a shopping mall. Spacious and clean rooms.

Disadvantages: The hotel is old, poor in quality, poor in English, and a little poor in the 4 star breakfast. Pros: The location is big, the room is big, the rest are not bad.

Very nice hotel to stay. Good ambience. Near to a big mall. Hospitality is good. Only thia ia any non chinese speaking people will struggle because other than receiption area no one speaks English

The Kempinski is the original high end hotel in that part of Shenzhen. It is a bit dated. The service is not good. The staff was absent a few times. They location is very convenient as it is next to a very popular mall

Comfortable hotel. There is a shopping mall nearby and it is convenient. Jusco is less than 5 minutes on foot.

Good hotel. Suites are fabulous. Good location near to shops and restaurants. Some silly rules / over zealous staff. One morning a group of us, who were all staying in the hotel were told we could not sit in the cafe area as only 2 of the 6 of us were having coffee!

It is the luxury hotel (5 stars) you should once being here. Everything is perfect from services to can-speak-English staffs.

The Kempinski is conveniently located in the main CBD in Nanshan. The Houhai metro station (Line 2 I think) is just next to it. And a huge shopping complex called Coastal city is also next to the hotel. The rooms are nice and luxurious. And the breakfast buffet is good though maybe not as lavish as one would expect from a 5 star.

Very luxurious - although expensive. Rooms were of good quality and views were excellent, although no free breakfast, would have to pay extra. Beware of the new night club next door, very noisy, kept me awake both nights I stayed there, and I was 14 floors up. Good appearance but i don't think I'll be back.

[July 2018, Lobby Cafe] The Kempinski Hotel Shenzhen is located at the intersection of Houhai Avenue and Binhai Avenue. It enjoys convenient transportation and is close to a large shopping mall. The location is very good. The coffee shop on the first floor is comfortable and the quality of the drinks is good. It is a good place for business meetings or gatherings with friends.

This is a super nice hotel in Shenzhen, China and is centrally located.

As you would expect from Kempinski, 5 stars for real.

The hotel is great, very luxurious, nice spacious rooms, great breakfast with many options. Negatives: I found hairs in the bathtub, and the WiFi terribly bad and slow. Located near restaurants and shops, and the park with a small lake to walk around.

It is a no smoking room, but I do not want to clean the room because it smells like a cigarette. I put a sign in front of my door, but I came in and cleaned it.

Porshe area and hotel. The whole area has many offices and other inportant buildings in the vicinity. There are plenty of good places to eat and shop. And there is also a lake nearby which you can go on foot and enjoy the evenings and in the morning you can go for a nice jog. Nice place to stay here in shenzhen. Enjoy and have a blast. Sharing the pics of nearby areas also to have an idea about the vicinity.

It's a little cheap, but I think it's a nice room with almost no windows.

Hotel is richly decorated, offers excellent breakfasts and choice of facilities. Though a bit dates for 4-star hotel.

Shenzhen is on a business trip here, living facilities are convenient, and the subway is also close.

The location is excellent. It is close to the subway Houhai Station and within walking distance to the Coastal City, Shenzhen Bay Stadium and Shenzhen Talent Park. The room is clean but slightly old

Right in the heart of Nanshan District and conveniently located next to great shopping, food, and the metro.

The old five-star, the brand is good, the decoration is a bit outdated, some dull, the service is OK. There is an oversized hall.

Upmarket hotel but not really 5 star. Tjeymade some serious mistake with the final bill. Make sure to check this.

Good location ... Two indian restaurant close by is an added advantage if one looking for a vegetarian food in Shenzhen

Von Jahr zu Jahr abgebaut. Leider. Internet ist eigentlich keines (langsam ohne Ende und hinter der Great Firewall - andere Hotels umgehen diese) und Service wurde immer schlechter. Kaum noch englischsprachiges Personal... Sehr schade!

Excellent hotel in the new district of Shenzhen. Underground at 100mt. Adjacent to a large Mall with dozens of restaurants. Friendly staff, spacious and quiet rooms. Breakfast very varied more western than eastern.
