Bear Mountain Resort Review

At Bear Mountain resort for a meeting. The room was very nice. The luncheon was good.

Went to a wedding, the views were amazing, thw food was good and their deserts were great!!

Course was in great shape. Most of the service was excellent but a few things could have been better

Do you want to have a nice experience doing golfing I would go there

Good food for the price, not a large menu. Beautiful view from patio!

Great place to go for a drink and an outdoor swim in the hot tub

Amazing experience, when arrived they took our clubs and put them in a golf cart and after we came out from paying there was a cart there with our bags , drove the cart down to the range where there is free practice balls, very cool GPS electronic screens in the golf carts, extremely recommend!!

Visited jacks restaurant. Has an awesome patio with good food and drink options.

The residence is a beautiful complex located in a beautiful site. The pool and the facilities are extra. A few caveats, however, compared to information posted: the stay in the residence is subject to a daily fee, the dining area is more a bar than anything else and the air conditioning makes an important noise ...

Great stay all around. Kids enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, I enjoyed the fitness center. 3 restaurants to choose from. Welcoming front desk, friendly staff all around. Clean rooms, hotel and hotel grounds. Would stay again.

Saturday lunch. Food was very good but a bit pricey compared to other local pubs.

Place has hidden fees and creepy staff wondering the halls. Nice place won't be back

Went for a work function , but the golf course looks amazing food stations were really delicious!

we stayed on a balcony room on the 5tg floor right next to the penthouse for a staff Xmas party, the hotel was amazing but nearly every amenity was a little more expensive that seemingly reasonable and the beds are quite firm.

the rooms are up to date and clean so all in all it is a very nice hotel and you have to pay for that luxury.

Went to Jack's with my girlfriend and her mom. I had not been there for a few years, but they frequent this Restaurant for lunch. They always raved about it. We met there yesterday 26th of November 2018. Service was very slow despite the place being almost empty. We eventually got our drinks, then order was taken. The ladies had chicken strips with soup. Simple. I ordered a battered halibut burger and fries. My experience in the food business tells me this order could have been cooked and plated in under 10 minutes at most. Only a deep fryer involved, right? Took just over 25 minutes to get our food despite only 2 other tables in house. The chicken strips were mediocre quality frozen product but priced as if hand made. Soup was okay. Presentation was lame. Bowl of soup, 4 strips beside. No garnish and served with run of mill plum sauce. No effort here. My burger was good but fries were cold and chewy. Nice fresh bun but not much fish at 17 dollars. Kinda lame for such a nice venue.

Went to Jacks Restaurant, which is always pretty good. Tried the chicken pesto pizza for the first time tho and was extremely disappointed at how bland it was. It pretty much tasted like a $20 piece of garlic bread with some boiled chicken tossed on it. Hubby had the meat lovers pizza, and that one was fantastic. Jacks just needs to boost up this other one so it has the flavor it should to not be put on the seniors or children's menu.

This place is beautiful especially good if you like golf

Had cocktails at Master's. The service was impeccable and the drinks were delightful. Live music provided a really nice ambiance.

Breath taking...The Ambience is high end much more than quaint . The views are amazing, Leave the details to the staff they are extremely knowledgeable about the area, not to mention they will treat you like extended family.
If what you are looking for is an ice cold beer or a cocktail. Perhaps something to temp your colaneri horizan. Bear Mountain at the Westin has you covered.Be prepared to be wowed, beyond impressed, come hungry! Bon apatite

Golf course was fun and the food was very delicious. All staffs were so friendly - We'd go here again for sure!

Beautiful views. I didn't know that the area has grown so much. The pub had great pepper and lemon wings. The sever was excellent! I wish I could remember her name, sorry server 00011. She knew exactly when to come around and top up my coffee. None of us felt rushed to get out of there and we were able to catch up woth each other.

We were there for a halloween event. It was beautiful, fireworks were amazing, seemed clean and well organised.

I went to Bear Mountain Resort to record a podcast and my guest was staying there for a sporting event. There were no bears. There was a beautiful lodge right on this Jack Nichlas designed golf course. I was later able to sneak off on my own and explore the surroundings. I found a hot tub and had a little swim until the room tenants returned and chased me off. Still no bears. The golf carts were just sitting there ready to go, so i gave them my podcast guests name and room number and had a grand ol time cruising around the course, and I only tipped it over twice! All in all its a fun place to go and let loose with some shenanigans. On the way out I noticed there was a golden bear statue in front of the building, so I guess that was supposed to be my bear sighting experience?

Love this place, my wife and I went here and will definitely come back. Also Kimberly at the Sante Spa is the best.

A great spot with helpful staff and exceptional facilities. Not just a game of golf, a golf experience that shouldn't be missed.

Great golf course, scenic vistas. Good food and great service. Nice hiking and biking trails nearby. Green fees are steep but there are discounts for locals.

Just drove past, too much of a peasant to afford this place

We travel a lot and could not be happier with this resort. We got a apartment for 6 days and it was amazing. Very clean and modern!. The food was great and the pool was a excellent way to keep my kids occupied. I would highly recommend booking with this resort.

Beautiful resort in a very upscale neighborhood. Nearby there are several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a pool where you can swim laps and a hot tub. The bathing facility is open until 10pm and is very clean. There are also yoga offers. The golf course is beautiful and fun.

I dislike this place so much that I am staying off-site during future meetings. by and large, it is unfriendly, over-priced and caters to an atmosphere of (weirdly) aggressive male energy. also, you are sort of captive given the location. I love going to Victoria and this place almost ruins that.

Attending for my friend's wedding, my room was phenomenal and the service could not have been better. The venue was great and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful place! Did a 10k race there today and everyone was friendly and helpful. My mother did the buffet while I was racing and she said it was pretty good.

Great golfing, superb red clay tennis courts. Was able to golf and play tennis. Solid facilities for both. Stayed on property and the Westin was good. Even with covid rules in place.

Dont come here for mountain biking. There is only 1 singletrack trail. This is not worth the trip.

Great place for events, golf and high quality tourism. Never been there myself, but I work in a customer service where I had a chance to meet a lot of people from there, and all of them were very impressed with this place. :)

Lovely area, Jack's pub restaurant is a.hopping place good food.
