We love skiing BC. It is a great ski resort with a little bit of everything to make a great family vacation. However, here is the honest assessment to consider, for the ticket price there is less grooming and fewer monitors on the slopes.it is evident by a huge bottleneck that was evident in Vail 2/7/2020 that you have to up your monitor and flow of skier volume..Been coming here 25 years and it is quite noticeable the difference. If you want to keep raising ticket prices, you need to raise the level of services. For that reason, I cannot give you 5 stars as you use to be the best resort and the gold standard. Now it is roughing it on the mountain..

OMG is this place expensive!!! $18 for a burger with nothing else is crazy!

For that price you might expect a little better customer service. Not even a smile. You would think they resent working here. Doesn't represent Colorado very well.

Beaver Creek has been out family favorite Spring break destination for several years now! There's plenty to do for any age group. Make sure to enjoy the live music and great cocktails at Powder 8 at the end of a long skiing day. The kids will love the well earned fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at 3:00 everyday as they come down for the mountain. Each there was something special to enjoy in the village from playing the kids favorite Disney movies on a big inflatable screen to free ice skating to carnival-style games. The kids loved it!

The skiing was great and there were so many helpful employees all over the place with info on the best runs, what was groomed and what wasn't, etc. Even people at the top of the main lifts by the maps to answer questions. Will definitely return.

Amazing but expensive. $199/day for adult lift tickets is pretty steep. Really helpful staff. If you're a novice it's totally worth getting a full day lesson for $275-$300. The extra money you pay will make your subsequent days all that more enjoyable.

I didn't say here just snowboarding, rented from the shop was no hassle, picking up my ticket was easy and lift lines where really quick. It's early December and got lucky with a fresh snow.

It's a very beautiful place. Great for skiing, snowboarding and ice-skating. Great for family. Lots of places to eat and shop. Many spots to sit near gas fire to keep warm. Great for holiday and weekend getaways.

Expensive, weird lift layout, not much in the way of expert terrain.

Having skied Vail for 3 days, we decided to try Beaver Creek on our last day. First the parking- there is no free parking at BC, even if you park in the Elk or Bear remote lots, which are far away, you will pay $10 to park. The shuttle bus runs very often though and that was no issue.

The prices for lockers are ridiculous- while lockers at Vail are only $1/$4, at Beaver Creek a locker is $15. We took a basket (with unlimited in/out) privileges for $12. Many restaurants at Beaver Creek, but be prepared to spend. A burger is $18, fries $8, a slice of Pizza $12, Chili or Soup $16. Similar to Vail there is no "base lodge" for visitors to put on their ski boots, you either need to do them at your car or take a locker for the day.

We found the lift system at BC to be annoying in that you had to ride two lifts to get to the summit and then the other lifts were spread out, requiring long cat track runs to get back to the main base.

The ski trails themselves on the main mountain were very crowded with kids and lessons. Once we got off the center part of the mountain the ski traffic thinned out quite a bit. Most of the trails at BC were novice/intermediate, there really was not much in the way of expert terrain. Overall I noticed that the average skier at Vail was a higher level skier than at Beaver Creek.

Beaver Creek certainly is family friendly, but its a bit too pretentious and upscale for this skier.

Excellent, expansive resort in the Vail family. Lots of varied terrain although it isn't quite as big as Vail itself. Staff here is very friendly and there are plenty of eateries in the village as well as shopping. Don't forget to get your cookies at the end of the ski day!

Just a lovely outdoor shopping plaza! Higher-end stores and amazing restaurants that would include eateries, gelato, and fine dining. The whole place is spotless and has a very upscale feel. There's an ice skating rink when it's cold. But don't forget about riding the gondola in the summer. As I'm writing this it's Covid season and everything was basically closed.

First time to this resort. On booking, the price was a little higher than I'm used to, but the quality of the mountain and friendly attitude of everyone there made it we'll worth it.

I was a little nervous about the lack of snow in CO this year, but there was plenty on all the runs I went on. And there's free cookies!

Where to start? Avon has draconian parking policies to keep "those" types of people from having access to the slopes. Epic Resorts is trying hard to make this a family facility and enforces an unpublished set of rules which is more strict than it's other resorts. Views are meh in most of the resort unless we are talking trophy wives. At least in Vail you get the back bowls for your hassle.

Slopes are amazing views are scenic and the ski school is the best. As a resort it is a little overpriced but if you know when and where to look there are deals to be had and a great food that won't shatter the bank. Blue moose pizza for one.

We were there in mud season, so almost everything was closed. Not much to do this time of year. But, we did find some bargains at The North Face and Patagonia, so that was good! You can also find an excellent deal on lodging during mud season.

We just visited for a day hike. Beautiful, well kept trails. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area looking for a hike. Looks like lots of other fun activities at the resort as well.

Beaver Creek is a well planned and designed resort nestled at the base of the mountains above Avon. Lots to love about BC beginning with great skiing opportunities for absolutely every level of skier. Then there is just the charming, warm, friendly ambiance of the place. Forbes Magazine didn't call it " the world's best luxury family resort" without good reason. You won't regret including Beaver Creek in your ski destination plans.
