Beam Living has provided responsive, professional,...

Beam Living has provided responsive, professional, and high quality resident management. And Riad Hajdini, the assistant resident manager in my building, has been especially kind and hard-working!

They are the absolute worst. No one is accountable...

They are the absolute worst. No one is accountable for anything. And in the time of COVID, it's been incredibly hard to get any response from at all. No one ever responds unless you hound them. They give you different answers. I wouldn't recommend renting an apartment at any their properties unless you want a perpetual headache. Plus our poor super is overworked and can't keep up with all the people he has to answer to. It's almost as if no one is in charge.

Beam Living might be the worst property management...

Beam Living might be the worst property management company in New York. Avoid 100% if you can. The rental prices are not cheaper compared with buildings nearby, and what you are paying for are giant cockroaches running all over your apartment, leaking waters in your bathroom, tons of people smoking weeds, and the best part, management is only there to collect pay checks and do nothing. This is a property where you don't even want to give it a try. Oh, one last thing, you will not get your deposit back as they will happily waive that with tons of made-up causes.

Beam Living is just about the most unprofessional ...

Beam Living is just about the most unprofessional and non responsive property management company in New York City. I ve lived in Stuytown, Peter Cooper for several years and I am moving out BECAUSE of Beam Living. There was a flood in the vacant apartment above mine, months go by and they don t tell us or check our apartment so over several months the water was collecting in our walls, bubbling the paint and cracking it throughout the apartment. It took a total of 4 months to get people to fix the walls (which had 90% water damage at this point) and to respond with next steps and even then we waited another few months to hear back. Another vacant apartment next to us starting flooding in their kitchen which made our kitchen sink rise with dirty water and eventually started flooding our kitchen with brown water. It took over 2 hours to get someone on the phone to send maintenance to fix it - when they showed up they checked the apartment next door and found the issue along with the empty apartment over flowing with dirty water.

If you are considering moving to an apartment that is under Beam Living - do your research. They are the absolute worst to deal with and literally never get back to you.

Don t move to Kips Bay Court or Stuytown Peter Cooper unless they change management. It s not worth the headache and stress.
