Great landlords. Fridge went down, had a new one in 2 hours. Property upkeep is far better then others in Pittsburgh.

I have rented from this company for 6 years. The first 4 were great, but when the original owner of my property passed away many things changed for the worse. Mr. Antin was entirely non-responsive to contact. Rent was raised 30% in one year. Utilities and rent were charged after the mandatory move out date, but before the lease term had completed. Finally, there was no allocation whatsoever for normal wear and tear following 6 years of being a good tenant at this property. Incredibly disappointed at the decline of what started as a good rental experience.

Thank god now it's getting warm outside. Believe it or not we just had a horrible winter because our landlord, beacon holdings, who never concern the feeling and well-being of tenants, turning off the heat night after night when we are in sleep.

Beacons Holdings is the WORST I've rented from. They've raised rent 30% over the past year and have refused to compromise and negotiate on any terms. They've added extra fees on parking when I am already paying over $1k + utilities. They are the RUDEST people and have shouted at tenants. They also have maintenance that walk in your door with a key without letting you know. One time I heard a knock in my BEDROOM DOOR and they barged in. Absolutely the WORST ever, please do not rent from this place it's disgusting

Rented for 3 years, always had positive experiences. Don't live here if you want to party all the time or trash the place. But if you respect them they'll respect you.

What a disappointment. I have rented from this company for about five years and its sad to see how awful this company became. The first half of my experience with this company was great. Rent was reasonable, if I had any problems they were fixed within a few days, and the original owner was wonderful. However when the original owner of my property passed away everything went downhill. Right away my rent almost doubled and I only had one day to respond if I was going to stay. The utilities and rent were charged after the mandatory move out date which is just gross. A lot of my neighbors have left this year too due to similar experiences. It's a shame because this use to be such a great company. Don't rent here.

If I could somehow prevent anyone from renting from these people again I would. I lived in one of their properties for 3 years, and as a previous reviewer said once the original owner died and the new owners came in the landlords became extremely exploitative, as rents went up by over 30% from year to year. The ceiling in my bedroom collapsed and the landlord was extremely rude about the whole affair. Maintenance people would only come at 7am, and sometimes without warning so you'd have to be dressed and out of your bedroom by then or you were in for a rude awakening. They even continued to give a few in person tours of the apartment despite the pandemic and also managed to take almost $700 off of our deposit when me my housemates left, probably figuring that because we were students we wouldn't do anything about it because we don't have lawyers. Terrible.
