I have been working with the Beacon Hill Staffing Group on and off again for the past three years. My recruiter was Shannon Dempsey, Senior Managing Consultant. She goes above and beyond with finding you work. Whether I needed an assignment for two days or two months, she was always able to find something to accommodate what I was looking for. She is so dependable, and she works so hard to help you find work because she really cares about you. I cannot thank Shannon enough for everything she has done for me. She truly is like the Wonder Woman of job recruiting!

Also, this company is very well-connected, and has a constant flow of clients reaching out to them daily. I have worked with several other staffing agencies, and none have given me the opportunities that Beacon Hill has. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for work in the Boston area, and I would highly suggest reaching out to Shannon. You can count on her 100% to find what you are looking for!

A recruiter contacted me for a position that I applied on line so we could schedule an on-site interview. When she called me I asked her more information about the position and she ended up telling me that the specific role has been filled and she was trying to set me up for weekly assignments. That is the way they work, they post or keep postings of temp to hire positions to attract potential employees only to have them fill their weekly assignments. If you want to seek for a permanent opportunity, look for job openings yourself. You'll have more luck in finding something.

Thank you to the professional staff at Beacon Hill for finding me multiple interviews (and subsequently multiple offers)! Samara was the best. I highly recommend them.

Great experience so far. I got connected with a recruiter through a friend and it has been great! My recruiters took the "hunt" out of "job hunt" and did the hunting for me. I just gave them the requested information they needed (background, resume, references, etc) and they found positions that were right for me.

If you are over 40, save yourself the trouble and find another agency. These Sorority Sisters have a bias against anyone who was working when Reagan was President.

I should have known from my first interactions that they would not be helpful because they did not even get back to me the first two times I sent them a message about a job on their website.

Then the third time when I contacted them they were very responsive at first,...I have two Masters Degrees with four years of experience working for startups and government agencies. The girl I met with said it would be easy to place me. She was really good for a few weeks setting me up with interviews with a few low level positions receptionist and other positions that was almost 15,000 less then what I had previously been making.

But, I needed a job so I am ok with that but then they completely ghosted me. I tried to get a hold of her or someone else at the first but no one responded. That is until seven months later when they contacted me out of the blue after I had found another job.

I would never use this company ever.

Folks, don't fall for the skewed 5-star reviews here on Google Maps. You'll notice that the majority of these reviewers mention that they, yes, worked with this staffing agency...but in a different location. In the past few months, you can see 5-stars from people working with this recruiter's Charlotte, DC, NYC, NJ, Austin offices, among others. I'm guessing the agency instructed these individuals to post reviews specifically for the Boston location. It's deception at its finest; shows how low Beacon Hill Staffing really goes to jack up its poor ratings at its main office.

As for my experience with them, I submitted my resume via their website back in 2015. Mind you, this was when their ratings were around 2 out of 5 stars, but I was desperate for work and didn't have anything to lose. Their automated confirmation said my resume was received and that I'd be considered for all available jobs they had. Days went by without a word, so I called and emailed them to see what was going on. I was completely ignored.

Fast forward to this year. I decided to try them again thinking they somehow improved (given all the good reviews they've gotten recently). Boy was I wrong. I sent my resume in to several different openings they had posted on their website, every day for a week on end. Not one acknowledgment from their so-called "professional," and "experienced" recruiters. Absolutely nothing has changed at this useless place.

Very friendly people and easy to work with. They are always ready to get you working as soon as possible. Very personable and professional at well.

Gabriella in the Madison office is professional, personable and a true advocate. She reached out for one position but as we had discussions and she got to know my history she realized a better opportunity was available for me. This is my first time pursuing a contract to hire position and she made the process very clean and easy!

Alex Dolbear was a tremendous help during my job search. She is committed to finding you a job and is your biggest advocate. Literally within the first week of working with Alex I had a job interview lined up. She is efficient, honest and amazing at communication. I've been using Beacon Hill services for two years for temp work. Getting my feet wet in various work environments really helped me shape my resume and build upon my professional skill set. The recruiters are really quick at placing you. I've tried other job agencies prior to Beacon Hill, but job placements were nowhere near as fast as Beacon Hill works. All the recruiters I've worked with have positive energy and are amicable.

I had been on a non compete for 6 months with my previous employer of 22 yrs, My 6 months was up 1-14-2020 so I was very anxious to get back to work, I had filled out over 189 application, been on approx 50 or so phone interviews and then no word on the position even after following up with the various contacting companies. On 1-27-2020 I got a call form Ty with Beacon Hill Staffing he was friendly, understood my KSA's . He was so pleasant & professional with superb communication I stopped filling out applications as I believed Ty when he said he was going to get me placed as he believed I was a great talent. On 1-29-2020 I had my 1st phone interview, 2-4-2020 an F2F interview where Ty peer meet with me to make sure I found the location and answer any questions I had before meeting with their client and I had accepted a position on 2-13-19. Even if I had not be selected for that position I would have still worked with Ty! I had a great experience.

I've worked with a handful staffing agencies but Beacon Hill by far has been the best. Maggie Miller was my recruiter and she was so responsive, so encouraging that it gave me confidence to go out and absolutely kill it during my job interview. I was looking for an entry level full time marketing/ digital media related job. Samantha came across my resume and emailed me. I drove down to Boston to meet her, and she introduced Megan to me, we sat down and talk probably about 10 mins. She didn't make any comments to my resume/ didn't provide any constructive opinions. Instead, she seems wanted to end conversation asap and no follow up later on. The whole process just not that professional not very helpful whatsoever. Not sure if all of these are because I didn't pay them or I was looking for entry level job. But based on my experience, it was a waste of time and gas.

The recruiters will placate you with opportunities to make it appear on their end like they re doing their job, the amount of actual opportunities that exist have to be slim to none with the amount of calls I get from Alison Argiro. Great Experience!! Got called the same day. The assignment started right away and ended up lasting a few months. The benefits including health insurance, vision, dental, etc. kicked in too, subsidized by BH. The sign up process was painless. OnBoarding was online and could be done on your pajamas. No messy papers to sign. Payment was weekly on direct deposit!!! No need to sweat it. And after 90 days at work you get sick days, health insurance, sick days, jury duty pay just like with a regular employment. Spectacular!!!!

C'mon now, everyone in Philly knows that Beacon's Betsy W. is the best recruiter in the business, and can keep you working if you reciprocate through conscientious work for Beacon's many clients. I love these guys and gals!

Highly recommend for recent college grads looking to get started in professional settings. Amanda Gaughan was like a dedicated agent working to find me the best opportunities possible. I looked forward to a call from her everyday to update me on the job search, while keeping an eye out for one-day to five-day placements that kept my bank account sated while I was interviewing at a number of high-end firms in the Boston area. I was very skeptical of working with a staffing company to find a legitimate long-term position, but Beacon Hill is a hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised by my interactions with Beacon Hill Staffing Group. They were professional, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful, and genuine every step of the way. They really go out of their way to find something that's an all around good fit. I can't recommend them enough.

I first visited them in 2013, My recruiter was David. He said he was working on multiple positions for me and I just got laid off after 20 years so I was excited. We met for about 2 minutes all he did was copy my ID and SS card and he said he would be in touch to call him when I saw a position listed that I liked. I called him each day when I saw a job posting on Craigslist/Their website and his reply was always: "The Company is being very specific" . Then a day later I would get a call from someone else in their office saying, we are calling you because we noticed you applied for a position on Craigslist which would be the same position I called David about; she (I forgot her name) would invite me in the office again that she had to meet me in person before she can submit my resume to the company which I did 3 times like a fool, I even told them I visited David already, and she said we would like to see you again and I got excited; I just thought David was not interested in his job so I thought maybe someone else could help me. They post false job that don't exist. I never got a job from them and I have over 20 years experience in my field.
