Beach Acres Resort Review

Really great access to the beach but the units seem small and the parking is pretty bad if you have more than one vehicle.

I was at this property playing with the Mount Arrowsmith Pipe Band.

Were at the pub food was good as were the servers. Nice place to go.

Little individual houses in a beautiful setting with tons of amenities. The staff was great, the grounds well-kept and litter-free, and the buildings are very clean. Good pool/office hours, minutes from a beach where the tide runs wayyyyyyy out, and close to Parksville without being in the town. There is an on-site pub, although it is pricey.
Our cottage included 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a single and bunk beds (all linens included). Each room had it's own closet, dresser etc. Large, full bathroom with double closet. Living room with wood fireplace, flat screen TV, wifi, hideabed couch and love seat. Full kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fullsized fridge and all the cookware you could need. Our unit had a fenced backyard, and all have patio sets. The best part is.. no hotel decor. Sturdy furniture, beautiful artwork and a great decorator's eye make it feel like your own fancy house - with housekeeping! Everything was amazingly clean - the unit, the office, the pool, the grounds - and the staff were all very sweet and informative. Looking forward to going again!

Black Goose Inn is a great pub style restaurant when it isn't busy.

We love it at Beach Acres. We always stay in a forrested cottage. This is a great place to getaway, unwind ,relax and enjoy. Very comfortable, clean, and a friendly staff!

Great spot with an amazing beach. Units are clean and well outfitted if a little dated. Indoor pool and on site pub too!

Great stay! Cottage was perfect and the British pub on site had imported beers on tap which were nice to try.

Just want to Thank Colleen and her staff for a wonderful reunion. There were 80 plus of us there last weekend for our 43 reunion. Everything was wonderful. A great place for young and old alike. They went up and beyond in everything. Thx Thx Thx

Lovely cabins and beautiful view. The cabins are clean and spacious.

Three of us rented a two bedroom cabin for four days. It was modern, clean and had everything needed for a great vacation. A short walk to the beach and Rathtrevor Park was a bonus. Close to local dive sites made this an ideal base for day trip dive outings.

We are very pleased with the resort! Very family friendly spot, the beach is beautiful, and the cabins are quite spacious and clean! Lots to do in the area, it's been a wonderful vacation!

Great atmosphere. Cozy cabins. Great beach access. Beds a little hard and "u" shaped. Otherwise clean and well taken care of.

Great location for the long weekend. Downtown Parksville is super easy to get to and the grounds are super clean.book early for the spot you want as they tend to fill up!

Everything was fantastic, from the comfortable rooms, to the knowledgeable staff, that helped us plan our one day in Parksville, and even the breakfast that got us ready to go to the ferry.

Been going to Beach Acres my whole life and have not once been disappointed. The forest cottages are warm and cozy and I recommend those if you are looking for a quiet, awesome place to stay. Beautiful BC forest right outside your door, and you can hear the birds chirping fromm anywhere. A short walk down to the beach is all you need to see breathtaking views and smell the salty ocean air. Many tide pools that are very fun to search through and lots of sandcastles that can be built! There's also an outdoor fire pit on the beach that can be used to roast s'mores and more! Back up at the office, the staff are wonderful! Always looking to help you out if you have a problem, and very welcoming when you first arrive. Very kind and polite! There is a small game room with bikes, paddle boards, badminton rackets, volleyballs, and more for renting for free! The playground is also great for the kids - they'll play on it for hours! A volleyball court, badminton court, and tennis courts are also available for use. Lovely, well maintained grounds. Finally, there's the indoor pool! It has a hot tub and sauna and is all around quite lovely. One thing I can promise is that you'll never be bored here! An amazing place to stay and spend time with family! 100% recommend!

Beautifull large wooded resourt on the beach. Great for families.

My family and I enjoyed a meal at the Black Goose Pub. The atmosphere was rustic and warm, and the service was curtious and prompt. The food was of. Original English pubs, and that you ordered at the bar was both different and the change interesting.

Beautiful resort the Black Goose pub is a great place to relax. Check out the Folk singer on Monday / Wednesday he's great!.

The houses for rent are packed in and you can hear your neighbors but the views are remarkable and the accommodations are plenty for an overnight or a week long stay. This is a fantastic place to come and explore and there are so many opportunities for recreation here and near.

Service was very good at the restaurant, bartenders were extremely friendly, and there's a nice view of the water from even sitting inside. We didn't eat so I have no comments on the food, but it was fairly quiet on Sunday evening. Not the most lively atmosphere but that could be due to the day we went.

Family friendly place with a wonderful English-style pub at the heart of it. Satisfactory tennis courts, as well as basketball, horseshoes, and a great children's play area. Cabins are modern and include a full kitchen, fireplace and television. Everything quite clean and quiet. Most importantly, there is easy beach access to a gorgeous beach. Excellent COVID protocols.

Cozy ocean front cottages with incredible views. Sand beach out front, warm swimmable summer water. Great walking trails. Perfect for families like ours.

This is a beautiful resort. The beach side cottages are a bit small for a family, so we prefer to rent a Ridgeline cottage instead. The view on the ridge is incredible and you have so much more space!

Traditional English pub style, you have to walk up to order food and beverages. Went with my grandma and dad for Mother s Day, she s in her 90 s and can t walk very well. The place wasn t super accessible for an elderly lady with a walker. Awesome fish and chips!

Best beachfront location of all the resorts on this strip. Each beachfront has its own firepit and Adirondack chairs! The only negative is that dishware could use an upgrade for sure. Indoor pool and hot tub all year round... great British pub (Black Goose Inn).... Accommodating staff :)

Staying in the partial ocean front view cabins at Beach Acres so far isn't as nice as the Forest cabins where we've stayed previously. Less private and farther from the barbeque pit. Beach Acres is still awesome though.

I've been going here with my family since i was a kid. Now I'm bringing my own son. Great family spot, beautiful views and right by the beach. Highly recommend going with an extended family and renting a few cabins!

The cottage we stayed in had great views and was nice and clean. There's a pub on site and a pool and hot tub (the hot tub isn't that great but still nice to have). Nice place and close to the beach and park trails.

Really great location on beach. Room was sleek and clean, nice bathroom. Resort restaurant was subpar though.

Amazing location - the beach goes out well over a kilometer at low tide. Lots to do. The cabin was fine, though more than I'd like to pay.

Stayed there May Long weekend with family and absolutely loved it. The cabins were beautiful and private. Tons of fun stuff to do like swim or play in the park. The location is outstanding! Right on the beach! Loved it!!!

Checkout this business out as an option for a wedding venue. Two reception rooms available. Lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful.

The food at the pub is amazing!! I'd eat there every meal if I could!!

We had food and drinks at the Black Goose Inn at Beach Acres Resort and it was excellent. Great food and great view.

Amazing place amazing location the units are fantastic well capped the beach is phenomenal obviously speaks for itself so.

Love the xl family picnic tables outside and the blankets. I spent more time their enjoying the drinks by having the blankets available to our party in the cool evening

The resort was excellent. Beach access was not. I have reduced mobility and there was no way I could make it up and down the road to get to the beach.

Very enjoyable green areas and accommodation. Good for kids and big reunions.

Great location and place for families, couples, dog friendly. Cottages right on the beach and terrace above with fantastic views across the straight to the coast mountains. We like the cottages back in the woods.

Attended a meeting in one of the conference rooms. I've stayed here before and it's lovely. Great rooms and great food in the restaurant.

Awesome location! We stayed at the cabin on the beach. It was perfect! The cabin is rustic but it had everything we needed. Very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The only complain I had, the bed was loud and uncomfortable. It would be good for a couple of nights, but we stayed there for a week and my back wasn't very happy.

One of the nicest summer time "patios" in town. Friendly service and a good selection on tap make this the perfect place to meet up with friends.

Great resort with with friendly people and plus there is a family friendly resteraunt with a ping pong table and a pool table also there is a swimming pool but it cost money like the pool table it cost 1$ a game but there is parks and a basketball court and if you walk down enough there will be a nice view of the sea

One of our favorite places to stay ,nice cabins ,great views and nice food...

The staff were friendly and professional. Room was good, king size bed were pluses. The only negative was very low water pressure in the shower.
