Beach Acres Resort Review

This is a go to place for our family holidays for the past 15 years. This place is very popular during the highseason and weekends so make sure you book ahead of time. Amazing beachfront cabins and forest cabins. Nice firepit and picnic area right on the beach. Tennis courts, arcade, playground and pool are available for the children.

Clean and well kept cabin equipped with everything we needed during our stay (except BBQ). Older styles furnishing but nevertheless functional. The beach is sandy and very shallow which is perfect for younger children. The resort had a swimming pool, sauna and a Jacuzzi. Very good value for the price we paid. We will definitely visit again.

Cozy neighbourhood feel. Clean and organized cabins. During pandemic the pool and park was closed but our groups kids (8) had a great time. Gone there for years now and for years to come. Thanks.

Did not use services or facilities, beach was shallow and warm, cottages appeared to be pleasant housing

First visit. Got a Beach Level townhouse. Will definitely come again. Staff have been excellent from initial booking through to promptly repairing a faulty kitchen appliance.

My daughter and I stayed there was very nice great place to go hope I can make it this winter love the area

Lovely setting, beautiful little cottages, great food and the beach is amazing! Our family have been coming here for years and we keep coming back!

Rooms were spacious and cozy, and well kept by the staff. Location was close to where I wanted to be but there wasn't any traffic noise and being eight near nature was lit.

Great set up, can be for families or couples to get away

All I know is that the Black Goose pub has great beer (including Innis & Gunn) and decent pub food, plus a nice outdoor space.

We had a very nice cottage and enjoyed our stay at the resort and in the area.

The Black Goose Pub at Beach Acres has, to my taste, the best cod and chips. A nice size piece of cod with big fat chips and a salad on the side. Today we enjoyed our lunch at the ocean-view picnic tables.

Excellent place! The location is perfect right on Rathtrevor Beach and close to the trails that go up Englishman River. Situated right next to the Black Goose Inn for beverages or something to eat.

The surroundings and beach are fantastic. The staff are great and very helpful. Special thanks to Colleen the manager and Maddy for looking after my family so well and always treating us like VIPs.

A really great resort. Depending on the room with direct location on the beach. We had a cottage a bit away from the beach, which was in the way
In retrospect, but liked better. The houses on the beach are semi-detached, which gives you less privacy. Our cottage was about 5 minutes walk from the beach in a small forest. Very quiet, terrace not visible and lots of privacy. The cottage was well decorated, quite large and lovingly decorated. We did not miss anything and we were a little sad to have booked only 1 night here. The private beach of the resort is super nice and invites you to linger.

Great place for families or couples. Perfect for getting away from the big city. Units on the beach, or with views, or in the forest or in between with partial water views. The units in the forest and some of the partial water view units are detached units with a small yard and a bit more privacy, while the ones closer to the beach are semi-detached. The beach is very safe, with very gradual slope, lots of shallow tide pools safe enough even for toddlers. Lots of activities for the kids, including a supervised kid's camp in the summer. Tide goes out very far; perfect for building sand day castles and flying kites. Amazing hiking around and near the resort. A wonderful getaway!

OMG! When I heard I was going to be spending part of my summer in a small town I was so mad. But when I got to BA was so happy. It's a charming place. I loved the pool and the staff were cool. Ilysm parksville. Thanks for the great experience. Plus kooms is a great hangout if you like icecream and goats #comingback #livingthelife.
