Not bad. It also has two other branches. Not a reputated school in kolkata. But the classes are air conditioned. But not up to the mark.

Good school with nice environment. Teachers are caring for students.

I contacted the office. They had checked my son's result and issued admission form for science. He qualified in science exam. Yesterday we went there. My son said that he came for admission to class XI but the staff in the office issued admission from. And their behaviour is not good enough. The teacher got offended when I said that I would bring cash from ATM. When I did return to give her the money she refused me and blamed my son for it. Now when we went there the teachers offered commerce. Now my question is if he can't get science then why did he give science exam. Bdmi this is not good. I wish GOOGLE could have an option to give -5 star (MINUS FIVE STAR). Sorry school for not giving so.

Please don't go to this school. This school has only a good infrastructure and nothing else.

Once used to be a good school in south Kolkata. But now there is no standard. School committee should check student background and hire good teachers.

One of the worst schools of Kolkata. From inexperienced and illiterate teachers to students being harassed you'll see it all.
They are always running after money. They keep on boasting about AC, basketball ground , football ground etc., but when it comes to providing quality education they are the worst. I wouldn't recommend anyone joining this school.

This school deserves no stars but I had to give one star to be able to post this review so that people read it and know the truth. I studied there from pre primary till class 10 and I can tell everyone that this school has the worst disciplined students. There are many bullies and egoist students-both boys and girls. Nearly everyone was involved in relationships in this school except me and a few good friends of mine. Some teachers are rude and show partiality and politics towards students.

CBSE Classes Nyrsey to 12th standard. Coeducational school. Good teaching faculty. Fees are on higher side. Good lab and library.

It's a good school but since there are a large number of students need to be self cautious and follow the day-to-day announcements, instructions. Teachers are good but self study is must.

I've studied in this school for 14 years and I consider myself to be very lucky to have been a part of this family. It supports both academics and other co-curricular activities well to build a young mind creatively. As per the other reviews which claims that a class 12 Science student will fail if they don't study in the private tuitions of the teachers, I strongly oppose this fact. I too am a Science student and I haven't studied in any of the private tuitions of my school but still managed to pass in every exam. But it is true that maximum number of students fail in the exams of class 11 and 12 but that is only because the papers are made very tough so that it pushes us to work and study harder so that we can achieve good marks in the boards and not because the teachers intentionally wants us to fail. I'm not denying the fact that if one takes these private tuitions then it will help you in passing these exams. Teachers do get biased for their coaching students and give them more marks but those who does not go in these tuitions gets the marks they actually deserve and nothing less. And I have many friends from other schools as well and this policy is no exception in any other school. But one must realise that the marks which actually matters is the board marks and these teachers will try their best to shape us and give us the internal assignment marks for boards.

Another point which I want to draw as per the other reviews, it is true that the students are mainly prepared for the board exams and not for the other competitive exams but that is also the same for any other school in Kolkata because teachers have to keep it in mind that they teach in the manner which is understood by all the students and beneficial to them and hence they cannot afford to go for higher study in class. But if a student wants to get done with some higher order problems then they are free to ask the teachers in school but after the class. Teachers are very patient and entertain such questions when they are free. And I am obviously talking with experience. Also this school provides some best laboratory equipments and facilities and according to the reviews of my friends of other schools it is the best in BDMI.

As per the bullies are considered, this school tries their best to manage such students and assign the required punishments. All students are not the same and such bullies and disobedient students are present in every school worldwide so it's really unfair to blame it on the school.

BDMI is inevitably a great institution and it provides everything that one can possibly expect from a private school in Kolkata.

Am 2020 candidate. I got 87.4% . I would like to thank my teachers definitely, but Neha Mam especially because the way she works hard not just hard extremely hard for the students. I was in her class and am so so happy i aced in my boards just because of her support. She supported me all throughout . Thank you mam for helping and supporting. This result is just for you.
