Bayou City Event Center Review

This event center is worth a visit. It is tucked away near 610 and 288.
It is a large, clean, and well air conditioned building. There is plenty of parking available. Staff seemed quiet and nice. Would recommend.

Very useful area for big events. As a minority community in Houston, we celebrated our new year gathering with a concert including dance groups and singers with their bands there. Hall is very equipped and very adjustable and versatile to make a scene for dancers and music bands. Small meeting rooms is manageable to do collatral ceremony activities.

Large beautiful space, staff very accommodating. Gave me a separate room to pray in without prior notice.

I've attended several events there. It's an okay venue but when everyone is leaving the parking area it's horrible.

Every 1st Tuesday of the month Harris County has Tax Sale Auctions there. Beautiful place for a party as well.

It was a really nice Banquet Hall really good food really good service I definitely recommend this place to anyone

Anything goes here fun place interesting venue very well laid out I think it definitely has the potential to bring whatever your ideal vision is to a memorable experience!!!

Was here for the Houston whiskey festival. Best lace they have held it. Looking forward to next year.

Always a great time! Service is great and they will make almost any event spectacular. Chris is awesome and very helpful when planning an event.

It is very large and beautiful, also has a very large parking.

Went to comedy show that was being held here last night. The comedy was great, the preparation and staff, not so much. First we were encouraged to find parking elsewhere, because a sheriff and a member of the parking staff closed off the parking because the "lot was full". We parked a entire three blocks away and walked all the way back to the venue, to discover that the lot was actually "not full" and that they were now letting cars park on the property. SMH. Once we got in, there were no ushers or any body on hand to help with the massive crowd and there was also no seats. Finally after 15 minutes or so, a gentleman came and started to accommodate the standing crowd. Show was great, Venue was not prepared.

Everything from the parking to the decorations, the wait staff and food were incredible!

This is one of the most beautiful facilities in Houston. We are hosting our 3rd event here in Oct. and cant wait. Great staff, great service, beautiful facility!

The building and venue are very nice. It can be a little confusing to get there though.

Went to the whiskey festival here and had a great time. The facility was very nice and clean. The back porch area was great for a beautiful evening outside.

Came here for a graduation ceremony, had never been here before. It's a good size for an event like wedding or quinceanera.

The humongous fans helped on a hot summer day!! I attended a picnic there, where everything was laid out nicely. The grounds have been maintained very nicely as well.

As an Special Events Organizer for a Houston Area School District, we use the Bayou City Event Center for multiple events each year, including commencement, prom, and many other events. The Bayou City Event Center has been great to work with over the past years, and particularly positive to work with as a thought partner in rethinking the events we had scheduled that are being disrupted by COVID-19.

There personalized approached to events, allows you to sit down with them and work out the details you will need, to develop plans with your third party contractors, their facility staff, and their subcontractors (e.g., how we can prepare off duty officers to help with traffic flow).

Their investments in their facilities, improves the space year over year. One such recent update was a major upgrade to their house lighting system. Even when issues arise, they work to make the situation right.

Much easier foreclosure process than at the old Family Courthouse location. Too bad so far away from downtown, but overall a better process now

A good event venue, lots of space, free parking. Can be divided into small to large rooms. Large outdoor open shed for outdoor parties. Open area for outdoor wedding under the sky. Courteous staff. One thing that I noticed lots of spiderwebs around corners and outdoor connecting areas, that's why one less star.

Attended one of the biggest weddings here, great place, efficient staff, terrific over all.

Very nice place for big events. Its not the best location to get to, the area used to be a rough crowd but the area is getting better.
I'd have a party there, BBQ, Fundraiser, maybe even a wedding, etc

Very disappointed I was trying to video tape my niece and the staff that work there kept telling me to sit down and they ruined my video with their voice a memory that I can never record again pesimo servicio

Your patrons are vandalizing our community because you have no parking at your faculty. If you can not provide adequate parking for your customers, maybe reconsider the earful business model you have

I go there for the auctions -forclosed homes every first week of the month. Place is nice, big, clean restrooms, nice staff, great parking.
