I ordered a roller blind from Bauhaus. The wide ones (over 1.50 m) are not available in the branches. I ordered 1.80 m wide in gray. The delivery was 1.70 m in "bright white".
So called the free service number. Free is no art when the doorbell rings until Deutsche Telekom cuts the connection without anyone answering the phone.
At some point the computer finally answered the phone. I would never have thought that one day a phone call to a computer would improve my previous state. "All employees are currently in discussion ..." After several minutes of continuous looping, the first person finally answered the phone.
She just said "Bauhaus switchboard." And before I took a breath: "I can not understand it, I connect it further."
I have never experienced something like that. I didn't have time to protest. I was immediately returned to the loop.
After another few minutes, another voice answered from the switchboard. He told me that I had to take my roller blind to a Bauhaus and exchange it there. If I had not known that the roller blind I ordered is not available at the Bauhaus (but only online), I might have fallen for it. I then insisted on being connected to someone in charge.
After another (this time only a few) minutes on the phone loop, I got someone on the phone who could actually understand the process, promised me a replacement delivery and only ended the call after we had both said "Goodbye".
The Bauhaus has enriched me with a bad telephone hotline experience.

Very bad email support, if you send them a complaint via email comes only an automatic answer but the mail is not answered, sometimes more people hire to be able to offer better service. Other Orange hardware stores are more service-oriented

Ordered online goods, which was given with 5-10 working days, these received only 12 weeks later.
"Customer service" is really underground and the staff are unfortunately anything but competent and customer friendly.

Buying from the Bauhaus online shop is a joke. Specified delivery time 19 days. After 6 days I received a shipping confirmation and tracking number. After the next 6 days I tried to reach Bauhaus by email and phone because the status of the program was unchanged. I finally reached someone by phone and placed a complaint. Another 9 days and I received information that my order was canceled due to lack of stock. When asked how this is possible, if I have already received a shipping confirmation, I have not received an answer for 2 weeks. As a "goodwill" I received vouchers, which in my eyes are only an advantage for the Bauhaus. I don't need to buy anything anymore and of course if I redeemed the vouchers I would probably spend more than that. In my opinion for Bauhaus we are simply customers and they are a big company that customers can ignore. If it were possible, I would give "minus 5 stars" rating.

Very, very good shop, where you can always find everything I need. Extinct objects such as polishing pads for shellac, shellac platelets themselves or alcohol to loosen them would be great.

The administration itself looks very well-groomed from the outside and inside there are very good and friendly brains that help quickly.

Goods ordered online. The goods were not even delivered.
Hotline said there was "no" reason given in the delivery text. You can hand in the goods to a neighbor or a packet shop and then stick a note on the door.
In any case after a long back and forth (2 weeks) I was promised to pay the price again. Then I got a repayment confirmation but there was still no money paid out 4 days after the email. The money was not paid out until 7 days later. A transfer cannot take 7 days. Once and never again Bauhaus. I'd rather buy it from IKEA POCO and Co.

They didn't even deserve the one star! It is impossible for a construction site to stand still for months because Bauhaus is unable to control the delivery of the goods!

We are in July and the goods should be delivered "today" since May 30th, 2020! Have already called the customer service several times, could talk about the order without any problems and now I don't want to be given any information, for data technology reasons (I'm not the invoice recipient) ?! No conversations are recorded or noted in the order, so that the lady could not recognize that I (as a woman) had received information several times without the consent of the invoice recipient (a man), ie "the package arrives today".

Now some of the goods have arrived damaged, the second package has apparently disappeared. Apart from the payment reminder, nothing arrives on time here!

Oh, and I was able to talk to the next employee about the order again. So much for data protection! However, this could not really help me.

Service is more than insufficient. We have ordered a greenhouse. Delivery was arranged for a Friday and arrived a week earlier on a Thursday. The neighbor had to help deliver the pallet. And now discs have broken during transport. Of course we have to complain there, but unfortunately so far without success. We are being held off for weeks. New is that one is pushed away under the service number - not very nice. My advice: FINGER way

there are larger hardware stores but I always find the staff very helpful. I had nothing to do with the central. only park there secretly sometimes. :) I actually wanted to give four stars, but give 5, because I agree more @peter mewes than @mrdevelino and so far has always been spared in terms of parking.

I have on 23.3. A cube box Nice online accidentally double ordered, since it was not apparent that the first purchase was complete. Although I called immediately, the second purchase could not be deleted and my credit card account was immediately charged with both bills. Anything that went wrong in the meantime would go beyond the bounds of the plan. At any rate, I had both delivered them together and refused to accept them, whose packaging also had a hole. When unpacking the accepted delivery, I found that parts of the box were broken off and she was picked up after reclamation. Despite several calls, (my mails were not answered !!!) is now after 4 weeks until the announcement came that the return is refunded. The second one, which I refused to accept, has not been reimbursed until today and I really hope that I will get my money back someday. What annoys me is that the debit on the credit card account happens immediately and a credit with good luck is only possible after weeks and many calls.

I am very satisfied with Bauhaus itself, but not with the contact policy of the Bauhaus headquarters!
It is almost impossible to reach someone from the management!

even a star is too much! I bought a convector (voltomat heating). When you unpacked the device, the toxic smell rose extremely strongly. Even in the attached description, this "stench" is described, but it is believed that it would evaporate after 1 hour of operation. The device has been running for 24 hours and the whole room is still unusable (even at a room height of 3.2m). For 4 hours all windows have been open and it still stinks miserably and staying in the room leads to extreme headaches and nausea. The device is a case for the approval authority!

I would like to give minus 5 stars! With an awning with a value of approx. 800, which was currently still on sale, you can no longer supply ceiling adapters / accessories! No goods, but offer everything on the Internet . Oh yes customer service is the last one, you have to be after everything yourself. Do not understand what you still have a (customer clearance). Unfortunately, I won't buy anything more at BAUHAUS! That was my favorite hardware store ...... it was! NOT RECOMMENDABLE !!!

Damaged delivery (due to deliberately wrong storag...

Damaged delivery (due to deliberately wrong storage 'standing' instead of 'lying' in order to get the goods into the overcrowded truck) was complained about on the day of delivery.

The goods were bought from a local BAUHAUS and delivery to a private address was agreed. The local BAUHAUS is friendly and appears to be helpful, but his hands are tied because only the head office can act here.

Despite multiple visits to the local BAUHAUS as well as telephone, post and email inquiries, neither financial compensation nor replacement of the defective parts has been carried out for nine months.

For a product with an end customer price of around 2,000 euros, this is very poor customer interaction.

I can and will advise everyone to buy products at BAUHAUS.

Purchase of an aluminum front door in June 2017 at the Bauhaus Heppenheim. The front door warps when the temperature changes summer / winter and is leaking. An improved gasket should be supplied, but nothing happens despite 6x service contact for 1.5 years. The store is chaotic and disorganized. Our consequence, not even a screw, we will buy at Bauhaus. With Hornbach we have much better experiences regarding service.

I upgraded the rating from one to three stars because Bauhaus has apologized via email and is obviously trying to work on the quality. Here is the original rating with one star: Bauhaus is trying its hand at digitization. I call this bogus digitization because the business processes behind it don't work:
1. Available product ordered and paid for; nice email replies; all right. Then cancellation without reason. I'm going to the Bauhaus shop again: Product available. E-mail inquiry to service: automatic answer with ticket etc. and that it can take a long time to answer. I could call 0800 ... Actually, I had something else to do that day.
2. The product should also be available in the next store in 53332 Bornheim. So I reserved this for pickup. I can pick it up as soon as I have received feedback. You don't think so seriously that I got an answer.
I don't want to order from Amazon. I got it in another shop for 2/3 the Bauhaus price!

A delivery with a value of approx. 500 euros was not delivered in full. The order was placed in the online shop. The "customer service" then informed me after 25 minutes on the phone that he was not processing such things, I should write an email. My email was not answered or confirmed. Days later I am on hold again. It's a good thing that I did pay via PayPal, because there is the possibility to open a service case. For me, that was clearly my last purchase at Bauhaus.
