Great place to Visit even for a hour. Definitely a piece of history you can experience!
Historic battleship, great knowledgeable guides and explore on your own. Highly recommend along with other Pearl Harbor sites.
If you're planning a trip to the island of Oahu, visiting the Missouri needs to be on your list of things to do. This is a great experience. I'm not just giving you my military point of view, but even as a civilian, I find this tour to be one of the most interesting tourist/sight seeing activities to do.
Solemn, Respect, Gratitude. Take the tour. One look at this fearsome ship and you will understand why it has a surrender deck.
Visit the ship where Japan surrendered September 2, 1945
If you like war machines or just want to see one part of history, this is the place you have to go. Ticket price is reasonable ($27 ->) and you will see lot of things with that money even not getting the quided tour. You should reserve lot of time (at least 2-3 hours) to explore a ship.
We have seen lot of WW2 things and places all over the world and this is one of the greatest. Maybe because it's so huge and is much easier to imagine with all infos and shows on boat.
Wow that was a great experience. I learned so much about that historic event and the being on thst ship was informative, exciting and eerie all st the same time.
Memorial facility of battleship Missouri that sank in the attack on Pearl Harbor. After watching the video, we will take the ferry. From the sunken Missouri, the scenery of the fuel of the time still flowing into the sea is deeply moved. War dead are also enshrined.
Well preserved and maintained museum capturing key events in American and world history. Well worth the visit, if you like history, you could easily take most of a day walking through the ship.
Amazing experience. Tour guides available with a wealth of information or you can explore on your own and just follow the green arrows. Would definitely do again, learned a lot.
Have been here twice and would go again. An excellent site for educating the public on history and the sacrifice made by those who serve for our freedom. Well preserved and accessible for all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The site allows you to take it all in at your own pace.
So crazy how people spent their time in this boat fighting
Second time I have visited the Missouri. First time in Bremerton. Our guide Bill, was extraordinary,. Learned more than I already knew. If you are interested at all in. WWII history, it's a must see.
Our tour guide was great (although he did try to upsell us on the 90 minute more expensive tour through his talk). The ship is HUGE and the below deck exhibits we're impressive! I especially liked the additional information about the kamikaze pilot.
The history surrounding this ship is staggering, To actually be onboard that ship and to experience just a little bit, of what it must have been like was an amazing opportunity, I salute our servicemen who protected our freedom.
Such an awesome experience! Amazing history along with a very friendly staff. Come check it out.

This was impressive but a shame they were working on it
Git to see the place where Steven seagal took out those bad guys, and apparently the end of WW2 happened here too....
Very cool place. Staff is eager to share knowledge and they know their stuff. Dont take a bag, they will not let you in.
I love history and this a world war your boat you can walk around our get a very good tour. A must see.
I really enjoyed my stop at the Missouri. I took the group tour of the top deck in which the guide was very informative. Then I did the self guided tour below decks. This is definitely a must see.
Amazing, and beautiful. Definitely a more hopeful history than Pearl Harbor, but just as meaningful. Definitely more entertaining for kids big and small.
I visited the Arizona Memorial before, so this time I went to Battleship Missouri. Although you can look around the ship freely, it is recommended that you take a tour of the Japanese guide. Tears were about to come out in response to the respect of the deceased pilot of the Kamikaze Special Attack Corps.
I went through on time hard hat tour. It was worth the price and was a great way to view the ship and hear a more detailed history
Great place to visit, along with the other historic highlights at Pearl Harbor. Be prepared for humidity though.
This is a must see. Make sure you have a lot of time and do the tour with a guide to get all the info. This is the last battleship the United states commissioned and built.it fired its guns in three different conflicts and roamed the seas for over 40 years
This monument is a very interesting war relic as well as a testament to the valor and expertise of those who sailed on the ship. I've been on a few battleships that are on display and this one is awesome.
Amazing ship a lot of history there highly recommended to do the tour it was awesome experience I felt I went back in time about all what happened on the battleship Missouri.
Beautiful battleship, sad that they had so much blocked off but understandably also. Was cool to see, if you are a history buff put on your list
The tour was amazing, the tour guide was very knowledgeable, apparently he was in the Navy (explains a lot) i learned a lot today, I'm definitely thankful for all the ppl serving our country and all the ones who have died protecting it
Started with the narrated tour which was quite informative Spent about 90 minutes walking all around the ship. Highly recommended.
Incredibly cool to walk through and see the ship. It is definitely worth doing.
A valuable place where you can actually board the battleship Missouri. Thankfully a Japanese guide will guide you free of charge, so you can turn around safely. You can eat curry guide in the van next to the store. The food is delicious but the food is delicious.
Terrific tour. Well worth the time and money. The 30 minute tour that comes with the entrance fee is great and our tour guide was outstanding.
Well deserved stop for history enthusiastic people. Good sample of life on the ship.
It was a very cool experience. A little difficult managing some of the stair Wells
Get here early to bet the rush. I got to the visitor center at 9am and went straight to the Missouri. I was able to take my time as there were not many visitors.
Interesting important part of history that is well preserved. Tour guide amber was very knowledgeable and informative
Love the tour, the information is amazing love the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend joining in on one of the guided tours they are so helpful and full of information.
Great place to remember where WWII finally ended. If you're into history, it's a must see.
First time to visit, it was amazing, enjoyed the food and service everyone very helpful and knowledgeable
First time to the USS Missouri. It was an exciting visit and a learning experience. Beautiful Day Today...
Einfach der Hammer das Schlachtschiff. Auch die Geschichte die da hinter steckt,Wahnsinn.
Very cool must see if you can make it on base. USS Missouri is considered one of the most famous ships in the world, very well maintained, you will see various military ceremonies held here daily because of its storied past. Great place to bring the kids to learn about Pearl Harbor or WWII. Also a great place to entertain your grandpa for 2-4 hours before he needs to take a nap.
Tour guide awesome. Presentation of the battle ship was superb
It was a great experience to see how the soldiers lived on the ship
Our tour guide was wonderful!! I was very impressed with how much information she knew and shared with us. I believe her name was Lisa, but I remembered she had just signed up for the Air Force, which is awesome!
Definitely worth the visit! Support our historical sites.
A lot of WWII history here. If you are willing to spend the money, and have the time, then I recommend this place highly. Your tour guide will probably be a volunteer dedicated to preservation of the memorial. Ours had a lot of insight and little known facts. There are plenty of photo ops. It takes a while to walk the whole ship. You are allowed to go off on your own below deck. Bring your own water if able. The price is considerable vs. Pearl Harbor. You have to take a shuttle from the Pearl Harbor memorial. There is parking at PH, but be aware of thieves and other scum that are looking for an easy score. Egress is a bit confusing so use a GPS to get out OK.
Beautful and moving experience. Our tour guide was amazing and informative. Do not wear skirt or a sundress. Very windy and there are ladders to climb. I learned the hard way.
Impossible not to enjoy the tour aboard USS Missouri! The guided tour is undoubtedly the best of this tour, with an excellent account and details of the ship and its history. Going through it takes time (+2 hours), it is immense and each space remains as if it had been stopped in time. There are exhibits of historical documents, photos, and objects recovered from the attacks. It allows the visitor to know what life is like on board. Excellent views from the deck, hopefully you can see the exit of a submarine!
Very cool experience for my 10 year old daughter and myself. It was fun to walk around and experience while learning about the history of the Missouri.
The hours are kind of lame, but none the less a well maintained memorial to both sides of the war.
The History is very worthwhile. The Missouri Battleship is an engineering marvel.
The various tours that the memorial has will allow you to go to almost all of the ships. We just wanted to see the place of surrender and only did the Missouri. It was a great experience and definitely would suggest it to others. Takes about an hour to walk through the ship and tour buses were another hour due to a very busy day!
