My pregnant 19yo daughter and I were traveling through Baton Rouge. After dinner, she noticed some blood spotting. We called the hospital, and they told us to come in right away. They got us registered and into the Birth Center very raoidly, and took very good care of her for about 2 hours. Everything turned out fine, but in addition I was impressed by the skill and professionalism of the staff, from top to bottom, and the personal touch.
My daughter went to BRG Bluebonnet for left side weakness pain and numbnes. We stayed in the ER for 13hrs before getting a bed. Dr Zuckerman and a team of doctors(names i do not remember) diagnosed her with Transverse-myelitis possible NMOSD. These are very rare Autoimmune diseases. They treated her for 5 days then discharged with no meds for pain, no follow up appointments, no referrals. I tried to call to get guidance from the neurologist but no working number. I called the hospital main number and was told they do not have a neuroscience/nuerologuy Department And Dr Zuckerman is retired!
How could they not supply us with information about this rare conditoon and at least set up a referral! I'm devastated and thist was the most uncaring staff I've ever met in my life my daughter is only 24.

Recently had hip replacement surgery at BR General Bluebonnet. My care was exemplary across the board from the moment I walked in the door until I went home. The staff was wonderful! Very caring, professional and compassionate. I was very pleased with how smoothly every thing went and while no one enjoys being in the hospital, this was as good as it gets and made my experience stress free and comforting. Big shout out to everyone at BR General Bluebonnet! You are all great and the facility is very nice!
Recently been in and out this hospital weekly and have had 3 surgeries here. Staff has always been nice and welcoming. Clean rooms.
The ER isnt the best at all. Very little interest into patients and their care. I actually witnessed someone ask about a timeframe for care and the response was that she "lucky to even be sitting here because ER patients are not first serve"
Nurse Frank was outstanding. He seemed to care about my pain and tried to help as much as possible.

Wonderful nurses, staff and Housekeeping! The room was extremely spacious and clean. The nurses were attentive and informative in caring fir my wife who had knee replacement surgery. Our Social Service advisor Sarah was kind enough to insure that my wife had the proper walker and equipment that my wife would need to recover. The physical therapy staff had her walking the very next day! This painful surgery turned out to be a healing process thanks to the staff of this hospital!

Emergency Room doctor told me to be seen by a dentist, they could not help me. (This after being informed I had no insurance or income due to Covid) I went there concerned about an infection, a broken tooth had abscessed and I had a fever and extreme pain. Last I checked a doctor CAN treat infection and pain. - Here's the kicker - I got billed for treatment, diagnostic AND pharmacy?!?! Can we say FRAUD? And yes, I have been in contact with their billing department and customer service - they want my financials info to avoid going to collections - for a fraudulant bill?!?
