Just because you're having a bad day does NOT give you the right to be rude and unprofessional to the truck drivers. The old lady at the check in window must be going through menopause because she is one of the rudest people i have ever met.
It is like a voluntary prison visit. U can go as you please but only if u never plan to return
Their other building has bad, lazy employees.
Try to avoid delivering dry freight for this company! They wont take you before an appointment and they want you to give them your keys and wait it in their waiting room.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR A TRUCK DRIVER
Pretty fast unload. Have to be inside the building and give your truck keys while loading or unloading
Unfriendly!!!! Never came again!!!
Not recommended!!!
They let us use the parking lot to get ready for the parade
I just know this place is far from detroit but commute dhould be ok since it us opposite durection as traffic.
This facility gives other BASF facilities a bad name. The young girl at the shipping / receiving window is as rude as they come. There is nothing fast or efficient about this place.
Compared to other BASF locations, in three area, this facility is terrible.
I was one of the best workers they ever had I came through Kelly Services I was treated horribly and disrespected by management and not appreciated. I did record breaking numbers! And i worked at the pace of two or three people everyday. Just to be disrespected and bullied at the end of the day by a BASF employee manager. That was the last straw for me. It is so sad to I'm not the only victim here from Kelly Services they are part of the problem not part of the solution. Hard worker employees are the foundation and the pillars of the business. And deserve the utmost respect at all times
They require safety glasses and high visibility outerwear.
Be sure you have the correct pick up number, nine digits usually starting with a 7. Once I had mine they took care of me immediately. The staff was very helpful and sort of friendly. They are really good at hiring beautiful women. Just saying...
There property is well kept at all times. It is always clean. Old Glory flies proudly out front in the light.
They have a pretty cold policy regarding parking. There was a Pokemon event nearby and a completely empty parking lot on a Sunday, and they called the police. With their background on pollution and such, one would figure they would be a bit more committed to being a part of the community.
Most cutthroat ass company. Don't matter how many years you sacrifice of your life to them, they have absolutely NO appreciation or loyalty and will fire you with no benefits without a legit reason! My husband has seen an older gentleman that gave this company over 25yrs of his life and was less than a year away frm retiring with full benefits, get cut off and fired for a simple mistake and only mistake this man has ever made, allegedly mind you. My husband has worked here 6yrs and he does the job of 3ppl but with the pay of only 1! When he has to take a day off for something legit like sickness and not for a baseball game or just because like the people he works with, they call in people to cover what he does when he's there, and they don't finish, instead they wait til he gets back. When the people he works with call off, they expect him to do that missing persons job on top of his job and the other jobs he does already! This place doesn't deserve any stars!
Opinion based solely on property layout, as you enter the gate you're met by a butt load of stupid drivers blocking the entrance. As you go through the gate and look to the left there's an ass load of spots to stage and walk ( I know, I know drivers are to lazy to walk) to the front.
A sign directing drivers to ( with a map and arrows) park out of the way should make it easier for those that have no problems walkng.
When I arrived I had to make some spaghetti moves to get around a stupid driver as I didn't want to block the driveway.
An awesome place to work. Wonderfull people, good pay, amazing opportunities, and great safety focused culture. I would, and have recommend working here to friends and family.
To there location down the street on 40 James Desana Dr. be ready to be here awhile to load up. 4 hours and counting.
Long waiting.
3-4 hours of waiting to get loaded. And you can't even wait inside your truck.
Extremely disrespectful office lady named Amanda, working the will call desk. She acts like she s better than everyone else and will shut the window while your talking, if I were owner of this company I would definitely get rid of her or send her to training! Just because some truck drivers are mean doesn t mean you treat all of them the same way! This lady Amanda is in the wrong profession definitely shouldn t be behind a desk dealing with any type of customer she should be a prison guard with a shi!!y attitude like that!
And for upper management you should look at all these complaints about your staff and maybe have a class or some respect training because I m not the only one that was met with this attitude!
