Barrie Learning Centre Review

This is good program. But handing out bus passes to people who don't make a effort to find work. Just to use the system. I hope they have a way to confirm these people are going out looking..now a days the internet is the best way to get interviews..

Helpful place , it's been along time since iv been in there but I loved the services they offered when I was there.

I'm currently in a class at the Learning Center and its great! My teacher is very friendly and can always help me if I have any questions. Overall, I love coming here to learn.

Amazing to learn of high school by adult or over adult

God always give to us the opportunity to grow up better on our life, having a good education. Good accessible location, I m having a good learning time here.

Most Teachers are really nice and helpful. The administrative staff is horrible beyond belief. I'm not too sure what they're getting paid to do.. they're usually rude and I asked for a copy of my transcript to be emailed to college and the lady on the phone asked why the college couldn't just wait until Ontario Colleges sends it over.. which can take days. So glad I don't go here anymore and I feel bad for anyone that still does.

I loved the staff, and the enviroment. They really helped when I needed it most even the take home booklets always willing and able to help go through it.

I took a course in the Barrie Learning Centre, and am currently taking another course online (due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Based off of my experience, I can genuinely say that I have seen people do their best with what they have/know, and that is admirable, I'm so grateful and appreciative of that. My time spent there changed my life forever, for the better. My current online classes are spectacular, the quality of how my course is set up on D2L is amazing! Back when I had an in-person course at the learning Centre, and my current online course, both of these times, I was blessed with having Mr. Van Voorst as my teacher (he taught me gr.11 math and is now teaching me gr.12 math). I don't wanna make this too long, so I'll just say that he is clearly devoted to helping his students succeed. The fact that I took the time to type this review further emphasizes that I believe their is a lot of potential in Barrie's Learning Centre. Keep up the great work, it pays off!
