Barrett's Alehouse Review

They have a great rewards program. Varried food choices from Asian chicken to fish and chips. The Portuguese Burger at the Fall River location is very tasty! Also the chowder and the French onion soup are good starters. Fish and chips are good also.

Again 2nd time ordering to go and the order was wrong, how difficult is to place a dinner order for 2 and they still screwed it up.

Good drinking food an outstanding wait staff. Good for families with children as they have a great game room but also good for a night out or just sit at the bar and watch the games

Great Alehouse, great waitress but the fritters fell short of my expectations. Fritter very good, sauce lacking.

Barrett's serves the area well. It is exactly what it says it is. Pizza chili burgers and much fancier food also if you want it. A good amount of beer on tap and a good selection of hard liquor to. They serve food 2:11 p.m. I believe. A nice place with nice people in my opinion

Late night for selection very limited. Waitress seemed to be discouraging use from sitting in dining room. Pizza was advertised as 3 dollars off on late night menu. paid 9 for small cheese

Great food.. Excellent Steak tips, Pizza is awesome.. Nachos are a meal unto themselves.. ARCADE IS OPEN DURING COVID AS OF SEPT 2020.. MY 9 YEAR OLD HAD A BLAST

Just started to visit this place a few times , love the pizza and food . The Staff is a mix bag , some personable , some their attitude needs training . like more smiles and what their name is . Etc . Could be more friendly , make customers feel more welcomed. Also the Silver Ware could be cleaner , a bit gross, Otherwise we ll keep coming see how it goes ..

Lots of choices on Menu. Service Wes ok! Adam the server was covering the Bar area. When first arrived the hostess wanted to put our party in the back room. No one else was in there. Said they seat by server. Not a fan.

Absolutely horrible service, they would be better off having no hostess with the job the ones they have do. Should really take tips from Barretts Waterfront. Its a joke they are owned by the same people

The menu and the food is always consistent in great and I love that I can go in on any day and have different specials to choose from..

We waited one hour and our food was cold and the waiter couldn't have cared less. Ordered turkey tips, would have been good hot but cold it wasn't tasty.

Atmosphere is on point. Lively without the obnoxious crowd. Small place which makes it feel a little more cozy and quaint. They always have relevant local sports on the screens and they are placed nicely at the bar and throughout the room. Staff are always pleasant and sociable. Absolutely a location I will continue to frequent.

Expensive but worth the money for date night or drinks with friends fish taco was really good !!!

Service was slow and the place was basically empty. Good was ok but the mozzarella sticks we're burnt. I had to go on a week and find mission for me own silverware and our waiter didn't even apologize. I've had many great experiences at this location but this was not one of them.

So glad this place opened back up...me and my girls favorite spot!

Went to Barretts in the shaws plaza in fall river to have a beer and a meal. Got the special clam chowder steak tips and dessert. Well for starters the bartender was by far the worst ive ever had! We sit down about 10 mins later a gentleman walks in, 10 mins later she takes his order, 10 mins later i have to scream as she walks by can i place my order?! . We finally place the order and again im sitting at the bar to drink and ended up having 2 beers in an hr and a half because she apparently has no clue or maybe didnt care to be professional. Our food comes out cold and to top it off we pay with cash and were asked if we wanted change so we said no and we were gonna leave a cash tip on the side. The lady was so caught up in emotion that she gives us 75cents because apparently she was too good for it. So instead of leaving a tip i just kept my money and will never ever go back! Lady was horrible!

Great place to grab a quick bite or a meal. Loved their fried pickles and margarita pizza. The service was good and food was amazing. I love the arcade, it was a lot of fun. Had a lot of prizes and weren t too difficult to win. Wish that some of the games weren t broken, but that wasn t a big deal. Can t wait to go back.

Barrett's is expensive and ridiculous on drinke prices so I drank water with lemon I don't recommend it to people and I like my cheese melted on my burger

Haven't had the best experiences here. A gift card issue of which they were no help. Got a gross undercooked chorice cake on another occasion. But lately I've been frequenting the place and have enjoyed the grub. So I'm adding stars!

Megan was our waitress tonight, and an absolute doll!! I had a horrible day, didn't want to cook, and she completely made my day, instead of just bringing us dinner!! She answered everyone of my picky questions with a smile, and definitely went above and beyond, checking the brand of wine when she heard me say it was amazing! We will definitely be back, and be sitting with her!!

I've been here several times and every thing I've ate has been delicious. That includes the fish and chips, quesodias, French onion soup, French dip, honey BBQ chicken panini, veggie calzone and probably a few other things I can't remember. I highly recommend. It's never a disappointment

Every time we eat here we are NEVER disappointed. I had the best Chicken Scampi tonight. Portions are generous and delicious. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. My compliments to the chef/s. Love to dine here.

Great service the cocktails was alright at best nothing out the world , the best thing I had the whole night was the nachos as an appetizer and the main dish really disappointed me I left it all didn't even bother bring it home

Awful service. Walked in in labor day for lunch, waited 20 minutes to be seated and no one even acknowledged we were standing there. Multiple staff walked by and completely ignored us. The place was 80% empty and multiple tables hadn't been cleaned, staff was lollygagging around. It was clear they couldn't be bothered with us, in fact they wanted us to leave.. Guess they didn't feel like working on this holiday weekend. Won't go back. Would suggest you avoid as well.

I just love this place and it's all because of Janice. She is a huge blessing to me and my family. It's my birthday and I come here for too visit her every year. I love her beyond words

Went to Barrett s today, I enjoy their Cobb salad. At little disappointed about there not being a full menu. Today waitress was great, atmosphere was good. But, we found a stem of some sort in our mashed potatoes. He became discussed at the thought that this was in his food. Oh well won t be returning there.

I've been going here since this place was tk omally's. It's got great food, a decent beer selection, great rotating specials and a friggen arcade! The only thing they need to do is add some classic coin ops to that arcade. I wanna see street fighter 3rd strike, galaga, Pac man and asteroids!

Food was terrible. French fries were even bad. They tasted like there was something wrong with the oil used. Way over priced for quality of food. Even the pizza was over cooked. Bun on the burger was stale.

Barrett's pretty much has something for everyone. Food is okay, nothing outstanding for the money but it's family friendly and they have daily special value deals which make it worth it for an occasional visit. Wednesday kids eat free with an adult entree purchase & half off game cards too. They also have an app now which gives reward points for further discounts. Service has always been good here also. Worth a trip if you have kids & for those who don't, bar always looks busy so they must be doing something right

Prices on ALL food were raised .99 for every meal. Why? Ask them if you visit.

Every week, a group of my friends plan a get together where we all go out to eat and grab drinks, 3 of these times we called and made reservations at Barrett's. All 3 times our reservations were deleted. The third time we got a text saying to respond within 10 minutes to be seated, walked up, waited behind the current person talking to them, who also had their reservations deleted, and they had removed us again. The 2 times we were sat, the table wasn't big enough and service was slow. We also asked for the music to get turned down twice because it drowned out any chance of conversation at our table and they never bothered. They have permanently lost my business and I DO NOT recommend waiting the 45 minutes or longer regardless of reservation for mediocre food. There are many better food services out there.
