So many books so little time. Walked a couple of block in the rain just to get here and it was worth it. Huge selection of books as well as LPs and Cds on the music section on the 2nd floor. There is a Starbucks for your mandatory coffee break while browsing through the books. Call me old fashion but I still prefer holding a book and flipping through the pages over digital books. I could like spend hours here given the time. Thanks Barnes & Noble for the experience.

It's the only full service bookstore left in business. Not only a bookstore, but an enjoyable activity where you can spend hours, like a flea market. They have everything, including toys, school supplies and electronics. Plus a cafe. Let's keep them in business, or all that's left will be online.

Had the books I was looking for. Cafe is yummy, Starbucks products, but doesn't accept Starbucks card (but will take Barnes & Noble discount). Busy (Christmas break), but not too long waiting in line for cashier

This place is HUGE! It is probably one of the biggest big stores I've ever been in. They carry almost anything you can think of. I was tempted to get all the cards against humanity expansion packs, but travel plans forbade that.
I did get all my sci fi and fantasy books that I was looking for so that's always a plus. I LOVED their comic and manga section. Would definitely return to get my comic fix.

Huge store with everything you could want at a Barnes and Noble - from books to journals and calendars to games. There's multiple floors and an in-store Starbucks cafe (but no, they don't take your Starbucks card, disappointing! But company policy). And - a god send in this area - free public bathrooms! They're small and there might be a wait, but they're there.

I've gone few times now.. Excellent service, they're not there just to sell, they know about good books and know where everything is at. :-) love that it has several floors, for those who like books, this is the perfect spot!

The associates were impolite and not very willing to help. We were travellers who were visiting NYC and didnt know the layout of the store and they treated us like idiots when we asked the location of some sections for books. I would not visit again.

Courteous and knowledgeable staff in EVERY department.
I had a bad experience with a mess some other customer made, and literally the moment i told a staff member he jumped in to action to make sure nobody else was disturbed and disgusted that mess.
And like most b&n they had enormous selection of entertainment, with Starbucks as well.

We love Barnes and Noble. The 5th Ave location is our favorite. They have Starbucks inside which is very convenient. Large selection of books for kids all ages is downstairs, they also have educational games. You can spend the whole day just by browsing Barnes and Noble.
