My husband and I were excited to try this place but unfortunately our entire order was more than disappointing. We got fish and chips and the chicken sandwich and all of it was burned including the fries. We also got the beer Mac and cheese to split and it was a tiny side portion with a tiny side portion salad. For the price they are charging everything should be MUCH better. Definitely won t order again.
I love this place. Go to pub for me. Food and Service is fantastic!! After only being there a few times staff knows my name and treats me like family. Dani is awesome! Highly recommended!
Very nice atmosphere. The staff is always so friendly and they make this place special. The food is excellent and I recommend any of their BBQ stuff.
I've stopped here a couple times on my way home from skiing. I've just done take out. There is a great bottle shop that's very well organized. The swag (T-shirts, etc) look great. I'm tempted to get at least a glass every time I visit. The beer is solid. My personal favourite is the Irish red, but the lagers are also very strong too. This is my favourite brewery in the Barrie/Collingwood area.
Waitress was very friendly. Extensive lunch menu as well as a large house beer menu. She was happy to give recommendations on the menu. Food was served piping hot (and the beer was served cold). Brought over house special hot sauce, which was really good. Highly recommended.
There was a good sized patio with decent amount of shade for these hot days.I did pick up a selection of beers. I would have to say the highlight was the Watermelon Lager. It was so good. A cool crisp and refreshing beer that went down all too well. Their Pilsner was a hot as well. I will be back as the fish taco looked amazing.
Great beer matches the great staff. During this Ontario lockdown they are still allowed take out. They have taken the opportunity to share local products at the front cash. Ordered 12 tall cans to go over the phone and while picking up picked up some coffee beans from nearby Orillia.
Overall very friendly, helpful staff. Second time going there and the food was good as well. We personally weren t the biggest fan of the fish and chips just found the fish slightly dry but still has good flavour. But between the food from last visit and this visit the food was is really good.
Wife and I escaped for our first night out in a long time. Service was excellent and the food and drink was fantastic. Quality of food is well above typical pub food. Will absolutely go again. Even bought the local hot sauce they sell in house was delicious!!
