We signed up for Barcelona Soccer for our eight year old son to play / practice with them and hopefully get on the team someday, we met with Detzi Kruszynski the coaching director at his home where he gave us the basic information on the program and teams. We had a couple of practices and everything was going ok, then ran into our first issue when we showed up for a practice at a certain time and another group was out practicing, we showed up about 20 minutes early so my son and I waited, after thirty minutes had passed and no other people were showing up I got out and asked some of the parents if they knew anything about any other practices going on, when I had a chance to talk to the coach I asked the same thing he told me he didn t know of any, My wife attempted to contact Detzi and got no response, the next day she got a call back stating that the practice was canceled. On another occasion we were running a little late to get my son to the practice that was going on in the Etna fields by Main St. when we arrived it was lightly raining and there was only one vehicle there, (the Coach) when we walked up and spoke with him he had no idea where everyone was at, the coach was nice enough to say that he would still practice with my son, however he didn t have any soccer balls and we were never told to bring one with us, so second time my son didn t get to practice. My wife attempted to contact Detzi, and again no answer till the following day. We were told that the parents canceled the practice this time. Today 11 May 2019 my son was supposed to practice with the team / group at 1230 we arrived at 1220 and waited again for someone to show up, 1230 came and went the only people there was my son and I, my wife again attempted to contact Detzi and no surprise NO ANSWER AGAIN. I ended up leaving and getting some lunch for my son and I, after leaving the restaurant I decided to stop by to see if anyone had shown up, when I got back to the field there were cars there and kids out getting ready for practice, the practice time was moved to 1300 we got no contact at all, nothing. I do believe the coaching staff is probably very good, but the administration / business end of this organization it appalling. Apparently if you re not on a team you re not on their contact list. And there is no way to get on any contact list without first being on said team.
