Decent food and glad to find a hotel restaurant that was open

Live near by walking distance and this is a nice place tho go in the summer for drinks outside.

One of the best kitchens you'll fine open at 2am. Also has one of the largest draft beer selections you'll find in the area.

Frankie is the best bartender/server! Brittany is an awesome Manager!

A sports bar. A bit quiet but I suppose that is the run up to the superbowl. Burger was OK.

This place is nice plenty of seating good food nice bar shots are alittle pricey but it is really nice in there

Pretzel app were two small pretzels reminiscent of the frozen ones you get at the store. My water glass was dirty, got a replacement fast from nice waiter. Both our burgers were sub par meat quality. Maybe this is due to the $5 burger special day? They were chewy and had no sear or grill to them. Both were bad...Really disappointing.

Went on a Friday for a lunch break with a co-worker. We ordered a Burger and a Salad. After waiting for almost 45 minutes with no food, we had to leave because we only get 1 hour break for lunch. I didn't want to make it appear as a dine and dash, so I walked in and told the waitress. Coincidentally, now our food was ready. She told me she'd make it to-go and asked me to pay. Told her not a chance I was paying and walked out. Emailed Bar Louie on their website, looking for someone to rectify the poor experience. Over 2 weeks and no contact has been made by their Management or Customer Service. Will not go there again.

The drinks were weak although the flavor waa good. The one in Evanston was better. However the service on the patio was good so they keep 3 stars.i

Good wine choices. Really noisy making it hard to talk. Wait staff was not overly friendly but kept up really well.

Loved this place. Had a couple of drink along with great tasty food. Service is good. Parking is available self as well as valet. Really good hangout place.Few offers though.

Shout out also- to the great early morning breakfast staff. They always seem so accommodating and friendly and the food is delicious.

This location is between This is my go-to spot to kill some time at Happy Hour when Chicago traffic rears its ugly head and makes my trip home look forever long. Bar Louie has a pretty decent draft list and happy hour specials are half price appetizers from 4 to 7. Perfect for winding down an hour or two while traffic dies down. If you're fighting traffic past the airport, definitely consider making a very minor detour and exit at Cumberland to enjoy a little break. :)

The wait staff here is pretty friendly but I have noticed a pretty quick turnaround on the faces I've seen. In any case, I enjoy my happy hour visits here. The food isn't going to blow you away but it is very good for "bar food". The beer and cocktail lists are extensive and you're bound to find something you like from either list.

I just had loaded french fries and a beer on tap. Excellent !

Bartender saw me when I sat down, but didn't come over right away. He then went to check on two people who sat down after meet before coming to see me.

Very slow service ended up walking out after 20 minutes of waiting for the waiter to take our order.

The bartender Jen is a wonderful lady and gave me the best customer service i ve experiences in a very long time. Would come here again. 10/10 recommend

Ordered the slider and app bundle. Recieved 3 small containers of fries and 1 small conatiner of a salad. When I called the restaurants to see if it was left at the restaurant by Ubereats guy, had the phone slammed on me. I paid $170 for basically fries and a salad to feed myself instead of my whole family.

Asked for red wine sangria, got a stone fruit one, told the waitress, and she told us to drink it anyway. Rofl. We did. But felt tad like a kindergartner being told to stay on blacktop and not step on grass.

Everytime I go to a Bar Louie it doesn't matter the location the service is terrible. The waitress ate her plate of food before she came to take our order. We were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. After getting our food the waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything or if the food was even good. When we finally had to walk around the restaurant to find someone to help the waitress was rude. She dropped the check in the table and never apologized for not coming back around. Worst service than the Oak Park location!! This was a Sunday early afternoon on December 1st. Hopefully management can figure out who the waitress was that day. It seems to be a trend for this restaurant. The staff needs a training course in manners and when to bring a drink or food in a timely manner.

The flatbereads are great... and summer mojitos... none better. Burger specials on Tuesday... These are the things I go to Bar Louie for... great place.

Nice, clean hotel bar, food also & drink specials. Did New Year's eve for 2019 & 2020, nice!

Great place to unwind after a long day. Really just a great place in general for a good experience. Beer was cold. Food was hot. Quesadillas we're really good. Hot pretzels we're great, but the cheese sauce was a little spicy if you're not expecting it. 5 dollar burgers on Tuesdays. I had the basic cheeseburger and it was very good. Bun was perfect. Highly recommend this place. Will be back!

Excellent beer selection, good food, friendly staff, overall nice place. Unfortunately they are usually understaffed and it is really hard to get a drink, food, a water, a menu, your check. Had a large group there yesterday and often had to wait 15 minutes for a drink.

They have a $8 menu and still overcharge guests. Beware. It happened twice with me. Menu is limited, food is good.

The food is great! But they need to work on the service, waited 20min to get a menu,20min to get our drinks...40min for food & another 15min just for the check. It wasn t even busy, 2 other tables were dine-in that s it! Hire more people or get the staff together

The atmosphere and tap selection exceeded my expectations, but the food was very mediocre. The size of the burger was definitely not what I would expect for $13, so good thing I came on $5 burger night. Kind of felt like I was at Applebees though which is really not what I'm about.

Save your money and your dignity. The staff will be rude to you and forget about you. Terrible experience, do not go here. Long wait for food, longer wait for rude waitress.

The food was good, the service was some of the worst I've had in a long time. This was late night & they weren't busy, so it may have just been this particular waitress.

The restaurant has amazing food. Their tuna appetizer is awesome. Overall, I was very glad we went there. Definitely recommend this place.

They always close the kitchen early, wait staff is horrible, even when there is very minimal patrons in there, and there is a strange smell always in the restaurant. Very poorly managed!!

Good service but there's fruit flies all over the restaurant. It's all over my drinks and food. It's very annoying and disturbing.

I placed a order over the phone they said it will b ready in 10 mins i took 18 mins to come from my room to the restaurand the hostess tells me she forgot to put the order in if I could wait another 15 mins instead to offer room service... horrible service

Have stayed at the hotel here regularly for 3 years. Food is ok, bar staff has gotten slower and less friendly. Overcharged this evening. Felt lousy for inviting a local friend here.

Food was great but our service was sub par. Our waitress, blonde with a side pony, seemed like she didn't even to be there. My friend's burger came with no bacon even though it was part of the item on the menu and had cheese even though she said she didn't want cheese. She ate half- mentioned it at the end assuming to get our bill lowered slightly but the girl brought us a box of bacon to put on the burger ourselves and didn't even apologize and walked away. Then we got the bill for our table which didnt have a holder that you usually get... that's wasent a problem it just made us confused as to if we had to go up and pay, or wait for her to come back. I asked another lady and she said someone would come pick it up. The girl went and picked up our money and left again without saying thank you have a nice night. Nothing.

Only complaint is that you cannot truly modify the toppings on your burger when ordering on-line

I had the salmon dish. It was good, but wasn t enough to fill me up; I was unimpressed. It was served in a plastic type dish that resembles a very small iron skillet. It was just enough to serve as an appetizer for two. For $18, I expected a bit more than that. I m sure their excuse for this limited portion size is due to COVID, like a lot of other restaurants of this caliber. Maybe it s a way for them to save money, because of money lost early in the pandemic. It s just not fair to your guest, especially if the guest is trying to support the business during these trying times.

Good bar. A lot of diferent beers from all over the world. Not very expensive. Great place for watching sports and having a great time with friends.

It's ok bar to have few drinks and catch with friend

Great place to have dinner after a show. The menu selection is good as is the service. Public parking a block away valet also available. A little loud however due to so many people enjoying and having fun. Management clearly directing his team and making table rounds to make sure every table is being taken care of. We have dined at this restaurant a number of times and never been disappointed.
