Not a very pleasant impression left this institution. Not only did the terminal for payment not work (according to the guards, it never worked, although it is installed there and there is no information on its performance), so they also talked as if I came to the post office of Russia (even there now better service), indignant yet that without surrendering money to them brought (it was necessary to run, look for an ATM, so even without surrender). Next, they gave a number, called the date, the wife asked to leave the work specifically to come for the documents, and they said: Documents are not ready until there is no solution. Nice guys. The guards left the best impression. It would be better to have them put people to service in the windows :)
Gentlemen (and ladies) from the embassy, learn from your neighbors from the Estonian embassy. Always everything is clear, simple and understandable. Shame.

Unpleasant visit experience! There were thoughts to pay for a visa center than to listen to two workers in the windows - a guy and a girl. Why it is so ugly talking with visitors is incomprehensible. The documents were initially provided in full, a visa was obtained, but the feeling of visiting remained unimportant.
The guards, on the contrary, are very sympathetic, polite.
P.S. The consular department picks up the phone reluctantly and from 5 times, if continuously dialed.

Totally great, had to wait outside for an hour and a half because only one employee is available. Mind you, it's -10 in Moscow in September. Hopefully they will see my response and will come up with something so that people don't have to freeze their toes outside, but after reading other comments here I don't think the embassy is thinking about people at all ...

Disgusting experience. As many wrote, getting through is almost impossible. It is especially pleasing when the voice in the receiver says that in case of emergency, stay on the line and discard. Hope not to be in an emergency with this place.
Received a work visa. The staff is rude. Most of all I liked that they record 10 people at a time, and when all 10 people come, they are very surprised and will not be allowed into the embassy. The line is on the street at the gate, in the winter in a blizzard, so take a thermos with you and be patient.

To get through to the consular department is difficult, but real, I got it 15 times! Hooray! A nice young man consulted on my question, but the girl with the receptionist dropped the phone, although I spoke with her makimalno politely))

From the guards who don't speak any english to the Russian guy who works inside, terible service. All very rude and unpleasant. I was with my baby and since the beginning I was treated very bad, no one tried to help me. Be aware that you cannot pay in euros or card!

Very well assisted by the employees of the Dutch Embassy in Moscow and also of the consulate in Saint Petersburg. Despite the Corona problems, they were both easily accessible and helped us very well with the visa for my wife. Compliments for this and thanks again! Gr. Rob and Oksana van der Meer
