Intimate and small. Drinks are tasty and straightforward

Love this place.. such a great vibe! Very dark, very sexy! They have food and comfortable lounge furniture.

Charged us 70$ for a pitcher of margaritas at a mini golf place. Never told us the price. There were only , 8oz, margaritas in the entire pitcher. Terrible price, mediocre drink. Don't even bother.

Nice bar and good service. They have a good selection of single malt whiskey.

A glance at my reviews will reveal that I have a Ph.D in Third Wheeling. I arrived at the Chloe with two friends, and shockingly both of them were as single as me. Conversation promised to be good.
As one drink turned into another, and another, I began to notice that my friends were maybe not as single as they proclaimed.
One of them began to detail the love lives of a few of our mutual friends: he is now engaged, she is now married, they are now happy.
As my friend kept on describing the joyful romantic circumstances of the people we knew, my other friend lost all the will to live. Her face, usually vibrant and full of beauty, had transformed into a resigned and weary visage. It was all in her eyes.
"Are you okay?", I asked her.
"Everything's fine", she replied with titanic effort.
Ten minutes later we were out of Bar Chloe. I said goodbye to my friends and I thought about the interaction between them throughout all that day.
And then I knew. And I so deeply felt for her.

3 star so far but alas I am here now and welcoming I wouldn't or couldn't quite say
Chloe club Santa Monica is so chic your looking around for Ryan Phillipe or something or maybe this club is vibing so best that a cast of the Animal Kingdom could be scene. Jay maybe? Yes. Jay.
I like it and I feel the owners in the room and these are YoPros from SoCal. Fer sure.

Delicious cocktails with a great atmosphere. The place seems very nondescript from the outside but once you enter you are transported to another place. You head down to the basement to a large, dimly lit basement party that feels like you are transported back in time. There are typewriters all over the place and lots of comfortable seating (good for groups). All of the cocktails I tried were delicious and they are a bit pricey but I think worth the price. If you are looking for an atmospheric bar with fancy cocktails, this is definitely the place for you.

PERFECT place to have craft cocktails! Nikolay is the best bartender I have ever seen. He's creative, fun to chat with and will make your night. Ask for him!
This is a hidden Gem... I found this on Yelp when my friend was visiting from the east coast. She wanted to go to Misfits and when we got there we couldn't get in the door it was so crowded. She was bummed and I was determined to find a different place with a nice ambience that wasn't over packed or obnoxiously loud which can be hard in that part of Santa Monica (near the Promenade). I found Bar Chloe and the pictures were stunning with this beautiful chandelier but cozy big chairs and couches to lounge on. There is also seating at the bar and the other seating is first come first serve and you need to speak to the hostess but we had a great time there. We got there at 7:45 and left at 11 and when we got there it was the perfect time not over packed very low key and fairly quiet and we got great seating. It was definitely busier when we left and louder which is to be expected. Our drinks were delicious and decently priced for Santa Monica and the apps we ordered were superb. The staff is on top of their game- very attentive and really friendly! This is now my friend and my "Go To" when she visits and my favorite bar on the West Side.

The atmosphere is nice. There's plenty of places to sit and the bar usually isn't very crowded. The downside is the drinks are expensive. Expect $14+ for mixed drinks and $7+ for beer. The drinks are tasty but the service when you sit down is sub-par. I recommend going to the bar to place an order then sitting down.

Great happy hour food and drink specials in a bar that feels like an old-fashioned salon. Super comfy couches - love the fries, mini burgers and grilled cheeses. Note that beer selection is pretty limited, only two beers on tap.

Pretty solid Santa Monica bar. I had been a few times several years ago and decided to go with a group for my bf's birthday recently. As long as you get there a little earlier, you can get a nice sofa spot. Drinks are fantastic. A little pricey, but hey, this is Santa Monica.

Pretty nice place with decent food and a selection of beers. I had a good experience and I really don't find anything that went wrong there, but at the same time I don't think anything was exceptional. I know how hard it is to maintain a place that sustains a good level of service and experience over time so kudos for this place. The location is great for me......

Hidden gem in santa Monica. Usually not that crowded. The drinks are great and the food is good.

What a great place to have a cocktail. The location is so close to the beach and the staff was friendly. A little small but that is my only complaint.

You're basically paying for expensive juice and cheap decor. A mirror image of San Francisco's 'White Rabbit Bar'. Not worth the price .

"This is a fantastic place to have a good chat. I came for a birthday celebration with a group of friends a couple of days ago. We stayed hours and hours chatting and felt no rush to leave. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed.

The drinks were overall really good. The bar tenders take care of making every drink beautifully. My favorite hands down was the clhoe cocktail. The champagne rose mixed with aperal was one of the best drinks I've had: refreshing and full with flavor. My girlfriend also loved the hemmingway daiquiri: unlike anything she's ever tried."

Security is handled by a young Marlon Brando. That says all you need to know.

Mini Golf here is a UVP of this place. That is a good choice for indoor activity with family and friends. It's an unusual place, if you have someone visiting The City from other countries - they would be impressed if you bring them here.

It s a fun and classy environment, very dimly lit and server was courteous. The cocktails are simple and good as was the food. A nice place to keep your night out low-key but still having a good time.

As soon as an walked in I had a good vibe. So far so good. Good music, friendly service. I'll be back.

The server was amazing. Sadly the cocktail menu could use some flair and the food was more pub than cocktail bar.
