The locals rating is bad, but it was much better than the other milks bars. Food is not bad, menu is varied and staff is friendly.

It would be great if there was an English menu with photos. Tomato soup It is delicious and it is delicious when I add pepper powder to the inside of the brewer too.

The concept of "milk-bars", subsidized kitchens with basic food, started during sovjet times and some of them still exists. This place seemed to be frequented by locals of all ages and from all walks of life.

Don't expect an easy time ordering if you don't speak polish or don't have a local with you.

Good food, really typical and inexpensive restaurant. There is a map in English. But surely a bit abrupt service because we are tourists in a traditional canteen.

Milk Bar - but not a chocolate bar :P It is kind of post communism place, where you can have kind of a polish cuisine. Friend told me once, only in Poland we eat sour rye soup - worth to try. Either you will like it or not.

Make sure to try the soups, pierogis, pancakes, cabbage salad basically as many things as your stomach can fit :) everything is tasty and the prices are extremely accesible.

Everything ok, a wild queue as in every bar, service as in the previous system or the quintessence of a milk bar :) unfortunately the prices are a bit too high for this class of place, the portions do not knock down (broccoli in a ruff a terribly small portion for 3.60 PLN). Delicious tomato and sorrel soup. The food itself is fresh and tasty :)

Super top. N.1 milk bar of warszawa. It sells the best pierogi in town, has the best prices, and the best zurek.

Best pierogi in Warsaw. Looks like a communist canteen though. Which is part of the charm. I always visit this place when I visit Warsaw.

A great place for lunch or breakfast. The decor is like a milk bar but it is clean and tidy. Delicious food, especially tripe, pancakes with cheese and devolay.

Very bad site. Prices similar to other restaurants and they do not serve you is self-service. They don't speak English, only Polish. They are often confused with orders. I try nothing nice. Bad food quality. It resembles hospital meals. Small amounts on the plates. Very seedy place. I don't go back to that place as long as I remember and I have a very good memory.

Yummy polish delicacies, friendly staff. We didn t understand anything from the menu except Pierogi, still the staff cooperate well to take our order. It s super affordable. And the quality of food is great. Food is prepared by old polish ladies in their traditional way. A google translate is mandatory to understand the menu better

We have come here for a soup, and we were surprised by the place. Firstly, the accept credit cards! Secondly, the soups were great. My wife had a cucumber soup and, I enjoyed the best urek in months. Be aware that cutlery is worn-out as this is very cheap place. For two big plates of soup we paid under 2 .

Milk bar with brilliant, very tasty and very cheap food. Ladies working in the kitchen really know their work. Nice service and a very pleasant place. Clean, modest but certainly very cheap and delicious !! Not expensive and recommendable.

Very crowded, clean milk bar with a fairly long card, unfortunately sometimes due to low prices quite a long queue to the cash register. A large selection of vegetarian dishes. Nice atmosphere. Clients from various social circles - corporate employees, families and retirees.

Neat place, good food at good prices. The downside is the organization, orders could be issued on numbers or in a separate window (a queue of people returning receipts with orders in the same window, you have to come several times to complete your order, and it is not really known whether someone else has cleared it, notorious forgetting about cutlery to order also resulted in a few pilgrimages to the counter (although I will definitely go there during my next stay in Warsaw).

Authentic Polish cuisine in classic setting. This place brings you back some decades. The feel and taste are familiar to generations of Polish. It's low key with a vibrant and mixed crowd. You might need to queue a bit, as this place is very popular among the locals. Dishes are the real classics, prepared with love. Maybe a bit plain, but embraced for its simplicity. Service exactly what you may expect from a place like this. Bar Bambino, a real crowd pleaser. What would we do without you.

Dumplings - I do not recommend, so far I cannot recommend them from any bar - but the rest of them are. Especially pancakes. Take pancakes :)

Tasty Polish cuisine at an affordable price. Portions a tad too small for an adult man.

If you want to visit true old socialist "people's" Poland milk bar this is a place to go! Try "lazy dumplings" (leniwe) or blueberry dumplings or "schabowy".

Bar Bambino is the bomb! They fed me until I could barely move for about $3 USD, or around 2.5 . I had delicious, homemade spinach pierogis and cauliflower with breadcrumbs. They were out of the chicken soup, which ended up being a good thing (lots of food already!).

The servers were nice and the person taking my order spoke English. They accept credit cards. Definitely go here if you want an authentic and delicious milk bar experience in the city.

First of all, when reviewing this place we need not to forget that it is a bar of budget. Anyways, you can come across an extensive line which means that it's popular. The staff is okay. Some tables are not cleaned too often. Food is tasty and the wait time is short and even immidiate at times. For the price level given, I can sure recommend Bar Bambino as a viable lunch spot option.

A place for everyone ... prices okay and with time normal queues ... if the food is good and the queues will be;) quite a large selection of food for both children and adults;)

We were here in September 2018. Wide selection of Polish dishes, super tasty food and amazingly low prices. The polish pancakes were super delicious and the pierogi wasn't bad, just a bit over cooked.

Do not expect the usual "warm and friendly" customer service welcome, which didn't bother us at all BTW. The staff seemed serious, probably because it was busy at the time (a queue until the entrance and further). Regardless, they still managed to help everyone at the 1 till within 2 minutes and you won't have to wait long for your order, we received ours within 5.

Staff didn't speak English at the time, so we communicated by way of a translator app. The lady at the register was helpful and understanding.

How do you say it... Anyway, I can t accept this kind of dumplings. The family still thinks that I eat Chinese food, and when I go in the morning, there are almost no people. Maybe the locals prefer it.

I am very grateful to a local uncle for helping to understand the menu. Very traditional, simple, local features. Recommended visceral soup and meat dumplings.

Here is where you eat like a local. Surprisingly good taste. Authentic local dishes at local price. The menu on the board is all in Polish. English version is available on their website. They have their local rules on how food are ordered and served, go check it out ;-)

You can eat quickly and prices are affordable. Sometimes there is a queue going beyond the bar.

I do not recommend during rush hour. Food good, but ladies are not the fastest in the kitchen. At lunchtime, real congestion and an hour of waiting like nothing.

Super food, cheap, smokes and fresh, a large selection of dishes. You can ask for take away. The staff speak English. The only minus is the lack of toilets and it's difficult to park in the area.

I love such places - cheap and tasty food. It has some drawbacks, but they are quite acceptable.

The fact that the bar is sometimes waiting in front of the bar, indicates that it is worth eating here. Traditional food in good performance. I use it once in a while and I have never been disappointed.
