I went to the ER on 4/27/21 and received a first and only bill notification on 8/5/21 from Access One, a medical credit card. I never got notification of billing from Easley, but the insurance EOB said the bill was paid. Easley Hospital charged the service to credit without my consent! I called 8/16/21 and 8/18/21 with my insurance company on three way to resolve the issue because the insurance company already paid the bill. I have an EOB as proof. On 9/13/21 I received another billing statement from Access One (medical credit account) for the same issue. I called TWICE and got disconnected TWICE with the issue still unresolved. Don t use this ER their billing department is a joke!

Unbelievable treatment by all staff tonight. I know it s COVID season but if someone is SCREAMING in pain HELP THEM. They put me on the door of the office, so everyone kept walking by, had to ask over 10 times for Zofran (anti nausea) and pain medication for my kidney stones. They reviews are right if you want to be forgotten about, this is the hospital for you. I finally got discharged and told my problems after the I got on the phone with someone saying how terrible of a place it is THEN the doctor came by to see me 5 hours LATER.

Even though I received bad news, the staff was very caring and the ER doctor did do a wonderful job and found my problem. For that, I am grateful!! She was the only doctor that ordered the scan that identified my health problem.
I had , had issues for several years and she was the only 1 that clearly understood the severity of those issues and took the necessary steps to find the problem.
Thank You Prisma Health Baptist, Dr. Mckechnie and Staff for all you did for me and all you do everyday!!!!

Impossible to find specific departments. All the addresses point to the ER room, staff don t know where other departments are. It is impossible to get through on the switchboard. Spent 40 minutes looking for Mammogram office, stopped into 3 different parts of the hospital, spent a total of 25 minutes on hold to get transferred to Mammogram office. The hospital system needs to invest in an update to My Chart with specific addresses and phone numbers. How about some external signage as well? They also need to invest in a switchboard solution that answers calls in a timely manner and has a mission of having a first call resolution. Once I did get through to the Mammogram office, the employee I spoke with was amazing and empathetic.

My wife has been here for almost 9 hrs. I have never in my life seen anything like this! All she needed was a ekg and blood work and on top of that they had to redrawn more blood because it had hemolized. She WILL be taking somewhere else! I thought Oconee was bad but this place is ridiculous .on further note I understand issues that are taking place these days but my gosh 9 hrs.

Baptist Easley s ER gets an A in my book. I don t know why so many local folks warned us to go to Greenville instead with emergencies, I found them to be very competent. Maybe after all the bad reviews they ve worked hard to fix issues. I ve been inside more big city Hospital ER s in DC, Metro Atlanta, and Greenville than I can count with emergencies with the late husband s strokes, cancer complications, heart issues, and Guillian Barre, so I know what a bad ER and bad Hospital is like. Instead of making me wait outside in the cold for up to 8 + hours with the rest of the spouses until my husband is finally taken back from the waiting room to an ER room to get looked at (for serious stuff like chest pains!), he was triaged, labbed, and in a room in under an hour, and holy cow, the doc actually showed up within a minute of him being put on a bed, it was an all time best. What would have been a traggling all nighter at Greenville was over and diagnosed within an easy couple of hours. Everyone working Easley s ER had great bedside manners from the first triage nurse to the discharge. Everyone asked all the right questions, showed a sense of urgency and care, and demonstrated experience, knowledge, and proficiency at their job. They had good security there. It was safe, quiet, and clean. Two thumbs up!
