Come early to see all the shows. The zoo dont have enought animals.
The place is nice but unfortunately there are lots of mosquitoes :(
A good place for children's education. Unfortunately the fun zone is also being renovated
The complete funtastic zoo, plus the playground and guide, is very comparable, the entrance price is very satisfying
The zoo and animal education center are suitable for all ages. The tour seeing the animals is done by car, so the animals are not confined. Animal education is delivered in an interesting and non-boring way. The Bali Agung Theater is cool, professional and very entertaining show.
It's like a zoo with a lot of shows, and a little bit of safari. The safari part is really just a liiiitle bit of it. You'll go around passing some animals in a car (their car not yours) but you'll stop for just about a minute on each of them so you won't have time to really observe them in their natural habitat. I'd even prefer if they remove the safari part and just make those animals as part of the zoo, at least we can linger for longer and soak it all up. Still a great place though, would definitely visit again!
The worst part is definitely the drink prices. 17K for bottler water which goes for maybe 4k at most someplace else? For lunch I had some pizza for 100K, which is on the pricey side but it was *delicious* so I didn't mind that at all. The water though, geez. 17K!
We did the night tour, Good to see some animals at night moving around, but the tour was rushed and dinner just an average buffet next to screaming kids...
I like to take my children on vacation to this place, so that it is easier for children to get to know various types of animals
Good place for kids. very well maintained and quite knowledgeable..
Animals were not cared for properly; green water, overcrowded fish tanks, extremely small land for all animals and they were all bored and understimulated. I have never seen a tiger walk up to food so nonchalantly. The guides repeatedly abused the elephants by kicking or hacking (with a hammer). Even the elephant show had a giant tank of nuclear-green water that faces the crowd.
The park dedicates more land to souvenir shops and hotels than the animals. They aim to be Disneyland rather than be a zoo.
The waterpark was a joke. Two choices, either a slow water ride that tries to mimic Disneyland or a cheap carnival ride. The pool water was disguising, it hardly smelt of chorine (that is needed to prevent bacterial growth) and instead smelt off-putting and rather turbid.
The location of Bali Safari & Marine Park is a little far from the crowded area of Bali. Around 1.5 hours drive from Jimbaran. The place is neat and clean, with plenty of animals and a lot of activities to do. My kids enjoy tge Safari Journey very much! Nice place to entertain both kids and adults. Definitely want to go back again one day!
The place is comfortable ... & full of education for children ...
If you go to Bali safari it is really good morning, besides queuing for a pretty long ticket, you can also see the animal show, the marine area is still being improved, so you can only see a few fish in the aquarium ... the safari car queue is quite long, but after queuing It also pays off my curiosity, my favorite animal show according to my elephant show ... prepare to bring a stroller because it often goes to show 1 to another show ... mineral water is available, even though there are many trees but the weather is hot, if you can equip children with bring your own snacks from home, because the price of snacks etc is high ... the ticket price for safari can check on the web, or buy at traveloka / klook ...
I liked it a lot as an experience, especially thanks to having stayed one night inside the safari in a beautiful accommodation with a balcony overlooking the park, with zebras, rhinos and elephants walking under there.
The only thing to do is the water park, designed only for children and not for adults.
Great park...exellent guides...daughter was impressed
A tourist attraction similar to a zoo, with few animals, too expensive for the simplicity of the attraction.
Try the night safari ... It's better for the early morning safari, because the animals are more visible and there are more types of animals that can be seen ....
Did the night safari which included a bbq dinner. Tour included a 15 minute walk through (the guide was too quick and didn't take enough time to let people take photos or even look at the animals) 25 minute caged safari ride (this was quite enjoyable, the guide will give you food to feed the animals and the tiger will jump on top of your cage whilst being fed) followed by bbq dinner (food was not that great, did not have ribs like they show in their advertisement, more like meat patties, sausages, etc. The fruits even tasted better) followed by a 15 minute fire show. Honestly, everything just happened so fast and there are too many people. It was like a in, out, next waiting experience if you know what I mean. Photos don't come out that great either unfortunately.
Elephant riding tourist attractions, if you want a vacation with your family, you just come directly
Nice place to visit. Add insight into animal animals. The show is also really cool, you don't regret it.
The souvenirs are cool too
I was dispointed with the park. While well maintained, it was very small. The walk through exibits were few and the african animals are only viewable from the safari car. The driver barely stops long enough to see the animals, and then speeds off again.
The only saving grace were the animal shows, which were amazing.
Well manage park but so small and not so many animal collections
You will enjoy the place if you like elephants and tigers.
Pricey but worth the overall experience. Suggest sticking to as many planned shows as possible to make the most of your time.
We did the Night Safari. It is scheduled 6-9pm. We started at 6:30 and it was over at 8:15. We were bummed that it was so rushed. The dinner was a buffet and was fine. Not great or terrible, just okay. The walking Safari was good, but rushed. We barely had enough time to take pictures. People were told numerous times not to use their flash at night with the animals and yet they did, repeatedly, which got annoying. The driving part of the Safari was the BEST part. We got in a truck/cage/ jurrasic park looking vehicle and drove around to see the lions, tigers, zebras, cows, elephants, rhinos, and giraffes. We fed the zebras, cows, and elephants carrots. The staff fed the lions and tigers from the cage. We were able to pet the tigers and elephants. So freaking amazing. Absolutely loved that part. At 8pm there was an African fire dance. Have no idea if it was authentic, but we thought it was a neat show. It was only 15 minutes long. I would highly recommend going to the night Safari. I'm glad I did. The staff was friendly. Some of the other tourists were pushy, rude, and didn't follow the rules. Jerks.
It's great to be back to visit Bali Safari after 5 years. I feel there are some changes for the better. More variety of food. I suggest coming from the morning so that you can enjoy all the shows at Bali Safari. Bringing a hat or umbrella is recommended, if necessary, change of clothes for the children if you want to play in the water. Oh yes, Bali Safari also has road access for stroller or wheelchair users. Very nice
I really enjoyed visiting the park and it was great to see animals who appeared healthy and happy and had nice habitats similar to what they would have in the wild. It's not ideal to keep animals in captivity but this park focuses more on conservation than entertainment so it's better than a typical zoo. Many animals are free to roam including the Macaques who live in a tree with no cage around it. The keepers seem to have a great relationship with the animals and only use rewards to encourage the animals to perform in the shows. It is expensive but worth it to see the animals well cared for. Also the check in process needs to be reviewed as it takes about half an hour to wait in line and be served at the moment.
The place of education and recreation is suitable for my toddler duo
Holidays to Bali are mandatory to come here because the place is very good as a vehicle for family recreation. Tmptnya spacious, can use a wheelchair and baby stroller. There are lots of animals and you can take pictures with animals. The gifts are also good.
Very expensive for tourist and can't bring outside food.
My team and I happened to have the opportunity today, August 10, 2020 to visit one of the tourist attractions that we always look forward to, but I am very sad to see the human condition in the safari park, I cannot imagine the impact on safari residents, but what I am you can feel is the loss of enthusiasm for work and service that can be seen from the entrance to the exit of the safari park, something that is very unfortunate especially in this situation, the loss of innovation, creativity in packaging shows that seem to have been done for years, the state of the park is not well maintained, especially gratitude to still have a job in a situation like this, it would be a shame if we had to experience five-star service which seemed to be just the past, hopefully this safari park can quickly get through this time, and remains a destination that is always looked forward to in the future, I will always reminiscing about Safari Park in my family
animal collection is not as much as the safari park bogor
Awesome safari, water park was a little lacking but might be due to the works being done!
Very nice decorated space. Animals are at your fingertips. Everything is well described and clear. The theater building is impressive and the performance is really high. The place is suitable for small children and the disabled.
Go watch Bali Agung! Thats the best performance arts at Bali
Good..the animals are complete..the show is good ... review the history
Big zoo in the middle of Bali. Nice place to visit with family with kids
It's really exciting, my child is 6 years old, so I don't want to go home
The safari is too short, i miss feeding time like the one at Bogor
Collection of fauna is not much ... over all OK to make a walk with family
Much too overpriced night safari. I do not recommend anyone, because we were able to see animals for 20 minutes in the cage car and were given a short tour for 20 minutes. Everything else is just an inflated waste of time. We paid Rp 1,100,000 for it. That's about 70 euros. Outrageous to charge such prices. With the free choice of drinks you only got ice tea and water. Can't be meant first. It was positive that the mosquito repellent was included.
I do not approve of the exploitation of the animals or the small areas the animals are kept in just to make sure people get a close up view to take cell phone photos.
I will not be going back or recommending this place to anyone. It hurt my soul to see the animals in such conditions.
Please give more presentations on animals ... the time is very short ...
Children's recreation, bus tours, feeding animals. Unfortunately the fun zone is still closed, you can't play water and play other things.
I think this is one of the best Safari I have seen.
the animals have not been sedated and they are are in a very natural environment.
the night Safari that I had seen in Singapore few years back had animals which were sedated and they did not move at all.
The vehicles in which the Safari is done it is very safe and it allows good visibility from within.
Beautiful place to visit it's worth the $ (~15USD) get the basic package and you'll be able to do 90% of the things here in the park
Holiday with family. Take a walk while educating children about animals. fun because it is complete and comfortable. one day I want to come back here.
A very good zoo, equipped with very interesting animal shows, highly recommended for animal lovers "
The kids enjoy the tour but for us the place is a bit tired. only few animal per species.
The shows with the animals are quite nice, especially the one with elefants. Overall, I find it quite expensive. The safary trip was not what I expected. It was more like a zoo, rather than a safary.
Nice place
Many animals from Indonesia, India and Africa
An excellent visit and booking is possible especially for those who wish to tour the elephant - the place needs an early visit and can sit for three or four hours .. There is a market and coffees simple
The atmosphere is comfortable and the place is luaa
Nice place to visit. It has 3 animal kingdom, Indonesia, India, and Africa. I like the shows of birds and elephants.
