This place is absolutely outstanding. The bill was well within reason for the quality.

I have been in this place picking orders for Grubhub and Doordash and they never have the orders ready to pick up. It looks like they start the orders once the driver has arrived which means that the orders are never on time to the final customers. They should be better mostly now in pandemic times if you guys want to save the bussines.

Family owned and operated!! Really good food and options for those with gluten and dairy allergies!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely return when visiting Atlanta!!

The BEST gluten-free cake/cupcakes. I was gifted a beautiful bou-cake of cupcakes with vegan frosting delivered to my home. If you ve ever had gluten-free cake, you know it s usually dry and crumbly. Baker Dude has made the perfect gluten-free cake that sacrifices nothing in taste or texture. The cake was spongy and the frosting was smooth with just the right sweetness. I strongly recommend Baker Dude to anyone going gluten-free, vegan, keto, or paleo. Even a mixed group with and without dietary restrictions will be happy.

I purchased this cake for my boyfriend s birthday, (10/26). The cake was delivered on time and the packaging was nice, but the cake was not what I expected. I have had vegan cake/pastries in the past, and this cake was not what I was accustomed to. I would offer the advice to contact online orders to confirm the details of the order and what to expect to avoid this from happening in the future. This was disappointing, however the company quickly rectified it and provided me with a full refund.

Excellent restaurant with a large variety of pastries to choose from! I would recommend the plum tart. Casual attire is appropriate. The staff was super helpful and very friendly.

I ordered a red velvet cake for my husband s birthday and they were more than accommodating to my last minute request. The cake was not overly sweet, and was the right amount of fluffiness. The owner baker just finished the cake right as I was picking it up so it was super fresh! We would definitely return for more cakes and other pastries.

I stopped by Baker Dude Bakery Cafe on a beautiful Saturday afternoon for lunch. I had the Van Gogh sandwich and it was delicious! The space itself is also super cute. I really like this restaurant and hope to be back soon.

I had what looked like a Danish with chocolate and nuts. It was dense and heavy. I also had a carrot cake muffin. It was not very flavorful and had pieces of eggshells.

This is a find. The butternut squash quiche is amazing. I stumbled upon this spot and took a chance on the quiche. I found myself back at the counter three days later for more, with a friend in tow. The baked goods look decadent. They have a kale salad and a quinoa salad, both will be tried in due time. Three visits now and still loving it!!!

I called The Baker Dude the morning of my husband's birthday (during the 2nd week of the pandemic) to ask whether he'd create a cake, albeit on short notice. He agreed and I ordered a lavendar cake with buttercream icing.

That afternoon, the owner personally hand delivered a gorgeous, ribbon-tied box, which my husband thought was impressive by itself. Once he removed the lid, a burst of lavendar aroma filled our kitchen. The cake was beautifully and tastefully decorated, moist and delicious. I highly recommend this baker and look forward to eating at his cafe soon!

This place is awesome, Mishijah went far out of her way to help make something special happen, with a smile on her face, I'd come back just for the people, even if the cupcakes weren't as great as they are.... recommending this place.

Was feeling quite hungry today, ordered 3 eggs with chicken sausage and avocado to start. You have to try the chicken sausage. My main entree was the cauliflower gluten free pepperoni pizza. My spouse got the Hawaiian. The crust is fluffy and tasty.

Baker Dude Bakery Cafe is providing an outstanding service!!!

I purchased a cake from this baker on 6/9/2020 for my dear mother's 71st birthday. I called the bakery about three days ahead and spoke with the owner to place my order; I explained that I wanted a 6", two layer yellow vanilla cake with fresh strawberries, strawberry jam, and buttercream between the layers. I also wanted buttercream frosting to cover the outside of the cake, and "Happy 71st Birthday Mom" as the inscription on top.

I picked the cake up cake on 6/9/2020. When I arrived, there was a young girl (maybe 19-21 in age) that came to the counter to help me. She showed me the cake, and boxed it up. Roughly $38 later, I was off.

Family came down from Tennessee for the birthday dinner. After eating, we all sang Happy Birthday and brought out the cake and ice cream. I got the knife and went in to cut the first piece of cake while everyone watched. To my embarrassment, there was NO butter cream, and NO fresh strawberries between the layers, but only the strawberry jam I requested. And what's more, instead a fluffy, moist, yellow cake, it was brownish-beige in color as if it had been over baked and VERY dry. I was in utter shock. I just stood, looking the cake over in disbelief.

My family assured me it was it was fine, and that we should just eat it, because there was not other cake to default to....which was true. Nearly $40 for a small 6" cake that was a complete disaster.

I've baked for years, and have never seen anything like it. I've baked wedding cakes for friends, was a baker for Whole Foods Market, etc. Now I wish I would have done it myself, but could not because of work and time constraints. Will never order from here again, and certainly won't recommend. Unfortunate...

My husband and I were out walking/exploring, passed by Baker Dude, and decided to stop in to try something... Yummiest pit stop we ever made! Try the trifle - I promise you ll want to buy the whole bowl afterwards. Our experience was delightful. The owner was kind and friendly. He signed us up for the reward program and we got a free cupcake for being a new member and for my birthday. Cupcakes were delicious. We can t wait to go back and try more items! Highly recommend.

Baker Dude has a new fan! We ordered my birthday cake from Baker Dude and they did not disappoint! I will be insisting on getting a cake from this bakery from now on. We got the gluten free chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. It tastes just like devil's food cake. It was beautifully decorated too. Made my birthday happy, thank you!

My family and I tried Baker Dude for brunch this past Saturday and what a cool place. It is by far the best brunch experience we ve had. It was a bit busy but I thought to myself busy is always good (that means the food will be good) so I don t mind the wait. The food came out faster than we expected! It wasn t just good it was great! I got a vegan egg omelette (made with just eggs -I'm so happy they have lots of vegan options for me) and my husband had the super avocado toast, we also ordered pancakes for my son.
The omelette was so delicious and it also came with toast AND A SIDE! My husband said his super avocado toast was very tasty and my toddler eat all his pancakes (which is amazing because he is such a picky eater). The best part was the prices were great! They even serve wine and mimosas!!
So this is definitely our new brunch spot. We plan to come back for pizzas next weekend!

You can get 5-star quality food and service without the line at this locally owned cafe in the heart of The Beacon! Breakfast and brunch items are affordable and freshly made. My wife loves all the options with fresh avocado. Very friendly staff and in addition to a food menu, they offer a plethora of bakery items to satisfy your sweet tooth. If you are in a rush, you can order ahead on their app to pickup as well.

Insanely good cake (that happens to be gluten free)

My hubby ordered a red velvet cake with chocolate icing and it was beautiful, huge, and so incredibly delicious. Shared the cake with friends- I'm the only one that's gluten-free and usually on birthdays, etc. they suffer through my bland GF "treats" but this was different- everyone that had the cake had zero idea it was GF and said it was probably the most delicious cake they'd ever had. I love Baker Dude for GF items- cake, cupcakes, other special treats- but recommend them for anyone looking for a special treat whether your GF or not. Love this business!!

I had an awful experience at another ATL bakery and had to find another place to order a cake fast. Baker Dude Bakery was able to do a cake for me on short notice, and even went above made special requested icing that was not on the menu. During this time of quarantine who I believe to be the Baker Dude himself brought my cake out to the car for me and was very pleasant.

Team Baker Dude made my 21st birthday cake and it WAS THE BEST CAKE EVER! Not only was it beautifully decorated and exactly what I wanted it to look like, but it tasted amazing. All of my friends raved about this cake and even a few months later, my friends still ask to see pictures of the cake and tell me how good it was. I highly recommend baker dude bakery cafe and had an awesome experience working with them!

Orran and Dave have an amazing set up. Their food is great! The cupcakes are of course amazing as well. You can get small plates and meals at the Bakery, and the kitchen has windows so you can see creations in the making. They also have talent nights and Broadway hopefully sharing their talents some evenings. It's a great place in grant park for quick bites.

Baker Dude made mine and my husband's birthday (yup, born on the same day) a special experience when we could not celebrate in our usual ways due to Covid. They had amazing vegan options, easy online ordering and great communication. Our cake was delivered on time and the delivery person was wearing a mask. We got the vegan chocolate cake with the vegan cream cheese frosting. It was moist, rich and tasty. They decorated it beautifully. We will be using Baker Dude again.

Stopped in on a Monday I think. The service was very kind and attentive. Mood here reminds me of San Diego's scene.

Euphoria. Stopped in this morning to pickup an Uber Eats order and grabbed something for myself. Coffee and a cream cheese and strawberry croissant.

Pastry was buttery with a perfect crunch to the breading. Filling was rich, creamy and not overly sweet. What an incredible delight to find this in my backyard.

I stopped at this bakery as I happened to be in the area and was looking for gluten free baked goods. This small shop offers a small amount of savory items, traditional baked goods, and gluten free items. I got gluten free Blondies. One was M&M. The other was butterscotch. This was such a treat for a long time gluten free person. I also got the gluten free/Paleo chocolate cupcake. I liked the cake. The frosting was edible but not my favorite. Parking is easy, and the building it is in has a parking lot. The cashier working that day was super helpful and nice. Prices were comparable to other bakeries.

This place is off the chain!!!! Food Food qu is amazing. Though I was fasting, I had the most delicious avocado wrap. But in addition the pancakes, omelets, all the cuisine that I saw my friends order, looked so good that I would have to come back here several times. The space is cool and there are so many neighboring businesses worth checking out. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing! The Baker Dude was able to accommodate a last minute catering order for my daughter s 1st bday. Not only was the cake and brunch delicious and beautiful but it also accommodated for everyones dietary needs, and there were many. They were also great at working with me on specific packaging to ensure a covid safe gathering. Additionally, the attention to detail and guest experience was top notch. Absolutely terrible tasting cake. Seriously how did this happen??? I thought this place was supposed to be one of the best in the city. Walmart cake tasted better than this. They must have really messed mine up. That cake was pricey too. Ugh. And it wasn't even ready by the pickup time. Just a real let down overall.

These guys are wonderful!! I live in Florida, but they helped me deliver a birthday surprise for someone special in Atlanta. Everyone who works there has the best attitude. The BOU-cake was delicious and a huge hit! I will order from them every time I need something in Atlanta.

My birthday cake was so good I did not even get a picture of it! The cake was dense, moist, and elegantly decorated/frosted. I appreciated the complexity of the flavors offered (I had a lavender cake with blackberry frosting). The pick up was smooth and I truly appreciate the quality of the cake. I have worked with other bakeries in the Atlanta area and this is the only one I can confidently recommend...

I love this place. I'm sad that I no longer live close to BDC. The food is delicious and fresh. I know that my meal is going to delicious without all the excess grease and sugars that are many other restaurants. I have a hard time walking out with just 1 dessert. They are all delicious.

Love this place!! Lots of gluten free options that are really amazing, my fav is the blondies. They are sooo good and you can't even tell they are gf. They also have awesome hours, are open all the time, everyone there is chill, it's a great spot.

I live very close to the Beacon, and I love having the Baker Dude in the neighborhood. The owner is incredibly friendly and even opened up early one day when he saw us browsing from outside the bakery. He's made sure the cafe is vocal about being welcoming of the LGBTQ+ community with the children's books they sell at the front and the community magazines they have on the racks.

Every cupcake I've had makes me want to stop getting "just one." Come on, girl, you know you're gonna devour that one, just get some more. Seriously, I didn't know cupcakes could be this good. And there are gluten-free, paleo, and dairy-free options!

The interior is always clean, pretty, casual, and usually calm, even with the TV playing near the ceiling. There are windows into the baking kitchen, so you can watch if you'd like. I typically just sit to wait on any pastry I've asked for as it gets heated up.

Visiting the Baker Dude is always a treat, whether it's for a breakfast pastry or a dessert (and I haven't even tried their lunch menu things!). They're in the building that has the Mexican restaurant Patria Cocina and the grocery. They're inside, so you'll have to go in the building to find them, but then they're easy to get to (and so worth it!!).
