Bahama Bay Resort Review

Amazing Resort. We stayed in a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with everything you need to stay, kitchen utensils to cook, there are grill areas and playgrounds as well as swimming pools and hot tubs. I loved the food at the restaurant and it wasn t expensive. They also had drinks that where amazing the pools were big and fun To play in. At the pool near the restaurant, there is a beach area that was pretty with an ocean. At the clubhouse, there was a marketplace where you can buy ice cream and toys, a dvd place to rent movies! I absolutely loved this place.

We love staying here because the places are always clean & inviting. The area is usually quiet & peaceful so if you like to sit on the screened porch with your coffee and watch the squirrels race around the trees in the morning or have a drink and peer a little rabbit outside the screen at night it's a great place to be. There are several pool areas and lots of walkways to explore. If you're coming to Orlando & don't want to spend tons on the hotels, then this is the place to go. It's like a condo, has a full kitchen so you don't have to eat out every day or night, has a washer & dryer and the beds are very comfortable. It's easy to get to, not a lot of traffic to fight and WAY less expensive.

This resort is great in all things including pools and length for different parks. The hotel isn t very far from Disney or any other parks. They have good prices for the nights you stay per night. And there service is always helpful with a smiling face.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. There's a lot of activities to do on the resort. They had some board games, water toys, and tennis rackets in our unit. They also had a pack n play, stroller, highchair, and pool toys which made our stay much easier. Great place to stay. I Highly recommend.

What an amazing place!!! We highly recommend staying here. Prices are amazing. We decided to stay a few more days and they made it happen. Easy to work with!!! Just about 15 minutes from the parks private, so much to see and done on this hidden secret resort. We all planning on booking for next year!

I chose this place because it was less than half the price of the hotels closer to Disneyworld, where my daughter and I planned to spend a couple of days. But the Bahama Bay is so spectacular that we ended up skipping Disneyworld entirely! Our room was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with enormous kitchen, dining room, living room, screened patio area and laundry room. There were works of pottery and art in every room, leaving me to suspect this was a privately owned vacation home. The resort has 4 pools, 6 Jacuzzis and a splashpad, as well as 2 ponds and a private beach with a fishing dock on Lake Davenport. My daughter and I went down to the beach at 4:30 one morning to watch a star shower, then walked out on the dock at 5:30 to see a Space X launch. What a tremendous experience. The grounds also have shuffleboard, billiards, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, ping pong, a wonderful restaurant, a lounge, room service, gated/guarded entry, and an all-night store. What a deal!

Security at main gate was always very friendly. The room was great. After 3 days of climbing 4 flights of stairs multi times a day I wished there was a elevator. Pool and splash pad was clean and lots of fun. The landscaping needs some attention but it wasn't too bad.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was so much bigger than we expected. The balconies were awesome. The view was awesome. Pools and amenities were great. We definitely plan on going back.

20-25 minutes to Disney. Roomy condo well equipped. Small problem with entrance door lock...maintenance took care of it within 5 minutes... really. Quiet surroundings and well kept property.

When this was owned by Wyndham it was managed so much better. The new management apparently does not do their job the first room they tried to put us in the floor was soaking wet in the master bedroom. The next one I was up until 4 a.m. cleaning because there were Footprints all over the kitchen counters and walls chairs were broken and taped back together could not even see out the sliding glass doors I definitely think that window needs to take back over.
