Service can be sketchy at times and prices for things can be pretty high but at the end of the day its open 24 hours so don t be expecting the best at 2am

Frank has got to be one of the best owners you'll ever meet. He's a kind soul who has great food!

I've never had a good experience here. Snotty staff and a product that's just OK. The only shining star here is that they are open 24/7. I much prefer the bagels up the street at 7th & Washington.

This place is terrible. They were so rude to me. The other customers looked horrified as I was walking out the door. Absolutely no customer service. I felt attacked.

Reading the reviews and your responses, I m not surprised by yours. Your place sucks, and so does your response. You have a help wanted sign in the window, it should be a for sale sign. Start taking responsibility for your establishment.

The bread is always OLD. I thought they made there own bread?!?!? Sandwiches are way over priced. They try to charge tax on non-taxable items. This use to be a good place to go, not so much any more.

In the morning the service is amazing and at night it's terrible. When I went at night she gave me and my uncle attitude and I asked for a plain bagel with cream cheese not toasted she just gave me a plane bagel with nothing on it

So I bought 2 bagels thinking I would eat both. I did but it took me all day. Holy cow were the exceptional. We were visiting the area and wanted an authentic bagel. My wife had a bagel with maple cream cheese. That was excellent. Even the Banana was good. Service was great even for the east coast where service typically sucks. If you are in the area definitely go here it's worth it.

I got lunch here with a friend. The sandwich I got was reasonably priced and delicious. The service was quick. I realty enjoyed the texture of my bagel. Staff were really friendly too.

THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED! i grew up in hoboken and recently moved to San Diego, i came home for my first visit since i moved and all i wanted was a bagel. i ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a TOASTED bagel. i noticed as the bagel was being assembled that it was not toasted so i asked the man making it politely to toast it please. it was the biggest issue that he now had to toast it. told me that i never told him that (repeatedly) i got so offended that i walked out... AS THE MAN WAS CURSING ME OUT. too many options in town to support this terrible place.

Today Thursday July 2nd I ordered a Taylor Ham with cheese.Not knowing until I opened my sandwich I was shocked .The Taylor ham was ice cold ,the cheese was cold.I called to talk to the manager about it,His reply was to bring back to see the ice.So my reply was simple .You lost two customers. Disappointing for sure.

Great NY style bagels. Loved them. Great service. If I am ever back in the NY area I will go back.

I love French Vanilla coffee. However staff is the real reason to return back the same spot over and over again.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! I wrote this review last night and this morning, POOF! It's been deleted. I am DISGUSTED by the management and the workers at this location. My initial review was about the woman who works there during night. Every single time I visit this business at night, she is there and she treats every single customer so unbelievably horrible. Reading through previous reviews, people have been complaining about how rude this woman is for YEARS. Every time I encounter her she is extremely rude and dismissive while I treat her with the utmost respect, always saying please and thank you. Working in customer service means AT LEAST reciprocating the respect you are given. She makes me feel extremely uncomfortable every single time I go. I really hope that another bagel shop goes 24/7 in Hoboken because I am sick of feeding in to this disgusting shop. Fire her. I don't care that you have known her for years, she is making every single customer uncomfortable and that is not okay. If this gets deleted again I will be going into the shop to talk to the owner in person.

Waited two hours for a Taylor ham and cheese bagel and a bagel with cream cheese two weeks in row and didn t even get what we ordered this time. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time around because it was snowing and the roads were bad, so figured we d try them again and were disappointed ...AGAIN. Not only did we wait 2 hours, they delivered two bagels with turkey, lettuce and ONIONS. The only positive of this experience is we provided whoever got our order with a normal meal. I called the restaurant multiple times to complain and got a busy signal, finally got thru and the answering machine picked up (no recording either). Needless to say, bagels on the Hudson is no longer getting our business.

I would really lower if I could. They cursed at me over the phone because I wanted to pick up a sandwich. What kind of establishment allows this? None that I have ever seen. Also for the love of God, please fire Millie she is a terrible worker let alone person.

sometimes when you order delivery they like to give you uncooked or rather raw bagels when you prefer them fully cooked. also don't even bother calling about your order :)

Ordered a Taylor ham and eggs bagel but there was 1 thin piece of Taylor ham on it. Extremely skimpy considering the Taylor ham add-on is $1.50. I was definately still hungry afterwards.

When there to get a bagel toasted. Which I had to ask for twice. It wasn t even busy. Lady had a really really bad attitude. And made my bagel and basically threw it on the counter. On top of that it wasn t even toasted. Bad customer service. I felt uncomfortable for wanting to support a local business. Never again.

This place is amazing!! This are the best bagels I have ever eaten! And I love bagels, I have eaten in a lot of bagel shops and this place is the best. Any time you go there, there is a line, the service is excellent and everything is fresh and delicious. If you in the area don't miss this spot!
Also an excellent coffee! Cold or hot.
Try the chocolate chips bagel it's very good

Unfortunately I have never ordered a bagel that was warmed in the grill. It was cold and disgusting I hope that store management to reconsider delivering a better quality

The service here is terrible. The place is mismanaged and dirty while the employees are rude and seem to be constantly flustered. Only saving grace is they make a pretty good bagel; although not the best I've ever had.

One of the few places in hoboken open 24/7 but the lady at night cant seem to get you your order in a reasonable time. In several occasions she has finish making my order and then 3 people walk in and then I have to wait a additional 10-15 min to get my order. And then when you try to ask her for your order cause it us sitting there she gets mad and yells at you.

Terrible service. I placed an order for delivery and after an hour I called to see if they could give me an update on the status of my order. I believe my words were " Hi, I placed an order for delivery..." and before I could get anything else out, the woman who picked up the phone became very defensive and started yelling about how she just got there and "didn't know anything." She told me my order was sitting right next to her. She couldn't tell me if it was going to be be delivered or not and wouldn't lift a finger to find out because it was ordered before she got there so "it wasn't her problem."

It was good, they have a variety of options. It wasn t so busy. They have a sample bucket of all the kinds of bagels in bits, but they didn t have a sample of the French toast bagel which is what I wanted to try but I guess we re out of. Since there was no sample of it the woman who took my order offered a different sample choice of a cinnamon bagel. It was good but ended up ordering a plain bagel with homemade cream cheese. The cream cheese is ok but they added too much of it, which I did request they not add so much. When I went to pay it came up to $5.06 bc I also bought an apple juice, but I only had $5. The cashier was so nice and generous that he said it was ok and I didn t have to pay the 6 cents. Overall, it s a nice place, expect for it being a bit dusty bc the candy by the refrigerators had a bit of dirt/dust on them.

Best bagels ever! For large orders they take over the phone to make it easy and have it ready when you arrive too!

I haven't been for anything except the headline item (bagels!) but I can say they're great, and so are the spreads.

Delivery in itself is absolutely horrible. Our order is currently 45 minutes late and its still not here. We called to ask where our order was and all they said was that it was busy. I dont know if they are disregarding online orders and prioritizing people picking up in person but regardless very poor. Will be avoiding ordering from here in the future.
*^the order was in my fiance s name, we called three times and the last phone call you told us the drivers car had broken down(hour and half after estimated delivery time), which would have been helpful information to know so we could have cancelled our order and placed an elsewhere.

I just ordered 2 egg bagels with Taylor ham (1 regular and 1 cinnamon raisin) to be delivered and a 16oz hot tea and it came way sooner than expected. It said it would take about 55min but I think it only took 30min. I saw reviews saying it took a long time and I m thinking maybe they ordered during peek hours? I placed my order today (Wednesday) at around 10:30am.
The bagels were delish and they really took time to make sure the tea was Serran wrapped tight so it doesn t spill during delivery. Delivery guy was super nice as well. Thanks for our delish breakfast!

Never disappoints - quick service and delicious bagels!

Mmmm is the only sound that comes to mind when I think about Bagels on the Hudson. Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese is a must! The drink selection is large and diverse, never go thirsty when you eat a bagel. The desserts are delicious as well, Oreo cheesecake and chocolate pudding -- yum yum yum. Bagels on the Hudson is also open 24 hours, and while the staff has a little 'Jersey Attitude', nothing quite beats a bagel at 1 am.

I work all over Jersey City and parts of Hoboken, and have had a lot of breakfasts and lunches. The breakfast sandwich I ordered from Bagels On The Hudson was one the best I've had in a while. Clean, well made, delicious, and service was friendly. Reasonably priced as well which is hard to find in this area. Thank you for your hard work I'll be back with more hungry people for sure.

Their toaster doesn't work, my bagels are never toasted lol. Their lox spread has not a single sliver of lox in it. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Great cornerside deli for hoboken! reasonable prices, good place for a morning quick breakfast

Bagel was average. Came around midnight, lady working the counter spent ten minutes talking to someone and ignoring the waiting customers in line. She finally asked me what I wanted, but after ordering and waiting for another five minutes she asked me again if I was going to order. I ordered again and waited while she took care of customers that came in after me before getting my order.

Would only come back if I'm desperate for a bagel at midnight again. But probably not.

DONT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES BAGELS !! Unfortunately this place is not good at anything else besides making bagels. I ordered a mushroom, onions & Swiss cheese omelette and I payed extra to have sausage in it. Well, the omelette looked like It was ran over by a car and they literally just threw a "sausage" patty on top of the already not appetizing looking omelette. PLUS !! they forget my dam orange juice and white toast. Like seriously ?!?! I had bagels from here before and they were good but honestly whoever is cooking the food needs to go to culinary school ASAP !!

The bagels are pretty meh. Being gigantic does not make them better - there are surely better options around.

Get their rainbow bagel. Walnut cream cheese and sun dried tomatoes are absolutely delicious. Unfortunately Hoboken does not have many bagel shops but bages from this place are very good. They have a large selection of coffee too (I haven't tried it).

Since re-opening, food quality has increased 10 fold.

Not even 24 hours, go by at 11PM and the register is already closed. Condescending excuses from the owner ignore that customers are turned away at the door with no explanation.

My family and I really enjoyed our visit to this Deli. We all ordered Bagels with fresh lox. Our food was delicious. You definitely get more for your money.

Don't order delivery! They often mess up orders and ignore instructions!

My son and I were really looking forward to ordering from here because of their extensive breakfast menu. Ordered at 10:39, the food arrived at 12:15, and I received a call from the the 1st floor apartment saying the delivery guy was knocking on their window, keep in mind I live in the floor below them. The delivery man calls me and says you re not answering the door so I responded with yes, because you didn t call me or ring my bell then I proceeded to explain i received an angry phone call from upstairs about him knocking on the window. Our food was cold, I asked for hot sauce and ketchup on the side and they did not send ether, nor did they send napkins. I posted a review about my experience and instead of apologizing or taking ownership for this behavior I get a response about the driver making two other deliveries because I did not answer my phone. Judging by the reviews proper time management on their deliveries seems to be a consistent issue. My phone was on high volume ring waiting for this lengthy delivery and I did not receive one call until around 12:15 when this rude gentleman went knocking on the neighbors window. This business really needs to re-evaluate their delivery service, the manners of their staff, and their time management skills. Needless to say I will not be ordering from them again.

This place deserves well over 5 stars, their bagels are so fresh and delicious! Growing up in New York City, I thought our bagels beat anyone else s but I was proved wrong when I tried Bagels on The Hudson! If you haven t tried them and you re in the area, what are you waiting for?! 10/10 would most definitely recommend.
