Waited in the drive thru behind TWO cars for about 45 minutes. Finally ordered our bagels, continued to wait, and once we finally got back to our hotel with the bagels we realize there isn t even cream cheese on one of my sandwiches. Ridiculous. The staff was also not very friendly. I do not recommend.

Waited 20min+for a bagel and cream cheese. Watched the 6+ workers do who knows what. Started for about 15 minutes in the drive-thru but it took 15 minutes for one car to go through and one to pull up so we backed out, then we went inside and it was another 15 to 20 minutes... No one else was in the restaurant the people were on their phones after our order but somehow we didn't get our bagel and cream cheese for 20 minutes. This place is seriously taking a dump.

Great value freshly made. Great price as well for a good quick breakfast.

5 stars even on a bad day. They have a bacon and cheddar bagel perfect for an egg, bacon and cheddar.

30min wait for 3 bagels. People before & after me got served. When I asked for an update she said "almost ready". Waited 10 more minutes, and she couldn't find my order.

Uhhh very slow w lack of customer service. Lots of new employees which is obviously fine! But communicate w the customer or fellow employees if you don t know wth you re doing. Also person prepping food not wearing any gloves. Does not instill confidence. Was gonna order a latte but changed my mind after it took 10 minutes to successfully order a bagel.

We were really excited about this place during our visit to Seaside! However, the customer service was not good, no smiles or friendliness at all! The bagels took forever and we paid a lot of money, thank goodness the bagels were tasty. We won t be back.

I wish I could go 2.5 stars. Three seems too nice and two seems too harsh. My bagel came out pretty burnt. Don t get me wrong, I like a good crunch, but it was just too much. If it s coffee you re in search of, skip this place entirely. They serve Seattle s Best- which can be found at basically any gas station on the west coast. I don t think anyone has had any coffee training of any kind. My latte was so hot that 10 minutes later I still couldn t drink it because it was so hot. Overall, the environment was cool, and the bagel did have a great texture. Plus tons of cream cheese options. A good place to stop if your expectations are pretty low.

What can I say about my experience at Bagels by the Sea? Well for starters, I wasn't expecting my order, which consisted of two of the brunch bagels (think BLT style) to take 40+ minutes to be prepared. I placed my order inside at just a few minutes before 10 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and then sat in my car to wait. The two choices are wait outside or in your car. At 10:20 no bagels. At 10:30, no bagles. At 10:40 I see one of the employees running the order out to the man in front of me (there were two orders ahead of mine and one had just left). So I figured mine would be up next. I asked the employee about my order and she ran inside to check on it. I watched her examine all of the tickets, stare at the counter, go through the tickets again all before she asked for my name (which they write on the tickets). She then asked the line about my order and they said that they were just getting to it. I asked "what does that mean? What are we talking here, 10, 15 minutes?" She said yes and I told her that I would be back because I was about to be late from checking out of my hotel room. When I went back to get my food, which was about 10 minutes later, my food was all bagged up on the counter, there were 4 employees up front, not one of them acknowledged me and I waited for 5 minutes before I was helped. I took my food out to my car to eat it as I am absolutely starving at this point and my food was cold.
So, what can I say about Bagels by the Sea? That I'm super disappointed with my experience and the food. I'm beyond irritated for having to wait 40+ minutes for two bagels. And the lack of customer service left plenty to be desired. Other than that, I'm sure it's a charming place. I only gave it one star because zero is not an option.

Bagels and sandwiches are fire. Coffee is mediocre, but still decent. Great place!

Great food and good selection. I would recommend ordering ahead of time. We had a late breakfast around 10am and waited about 25mins from drive up to food delivery.

Not really the best, not the worst either. I felt like it was just a bit better than store bought.

Great selection of bagels in an old bank building. Lots of other offerings too, sandwiches, espresso, salads etc.

Bagels.....do they need an introduction? The answer is no. However, when you have a cornucopia of options for flavor perhaps, an introduction is necesary. This establishment is a gem, for a few reasons (one for each flavor of bagel they offer). The fact that it has revived an old bank and that the meeting room is in the vault, amazing. Plus, fresh bagels...no brainer there. Grab one, two, or half dozen then head down to the beach and enjoy you Bagels by the Sea.

This was my first time trying a bagel and I have to admit I was very impressed. I had the Pretzel bagel and it was delicious and definitely reminded me of that delicious salty treat.

Worst coffee in the entire area. Luke-warm, pump-your-own truck stop style coffee. Absolutely unpleasant experience!

Won t return there I ve been there plenty of times it s happened the last 2-3 times. I ve came in or drove up to ordered a bagel and, I ve had add-ons put onto it. Have not receive it on the bagel like add one like for example egg, bacon, and Avocado.etc, and was charged for it!!!! BUT IT WASNT ON THE BAGEL, and when called to ask and, talk about it with the lady. she was very rude and snappy definitely won t be going back vary sad.

We go there often. Best bagel I have had. I have been to many bagel places but none are as good as Bagels By The Sea.

Great bagel. Good coffee. Friendly staff. Away from promenade in Seaside which is a plus.

Of sugar in the middle of your bagel and enough butter to put a heart patient into coma I guess it would be OK but all in all I give it a fat 0 nasty stuff

This is the slowest bagel place I have ever been to. I ordered 2 bagels at 9:53 in the drive thru after waiting in line for 15 min. After waiting 35 minutes, and trying to call inside for 5 minutes to a busy signal I went in and they were just STARTING to make my order.

Got their breakfast sandwich. The sausage barely covered half the bagel. Overall the bagel was decent. Not worth the wait. I would of been better off at a McDonald s drive thru.
