Pretty dang good, the pimento & cheese jar with bacon jam is a must try!
Went for brunch for the first time. Food is great and the bottomless drinks are a great price. Will definitely be back.
Food game out over cooked and took forever to get our lunch. Sent food back and our medium burgers were way over cooked a second time.... Strike two with me with food is a out.....
Excellent burger. Heard that ribs are good as well. Efficient and friendly service.
One of the best BBQ meals I've had. The food is complimented by the warm and comfortable atmosphere. I had brisket and ribs that ran deep with a wonderful smoky flavor. The sides were deliciously fresh.
Cant go wrong here. Everything is great. Always great service and ever changing menu.
Awesome this restaurant, friendly stuff and amazing food
With a name like bacon Brothers we couldn't wait to try this place. We actually went three different times before making up our mind. Nothing on the menu was worth finishing or having twice. My steak was extremely premium but was so burned like charcoal. The mac and cheese that is smoked tastes more like smoke than anything. The charcuterie was not very good. It offered a variety of nasty smoked and salted meat and head cheese but it wasn't good and the biscuit was not good. We tried a variety of different things and always left disappointed. We will not be back.
Cool atmosphere, cozy booths and friendly staff. The deviled eggs were pretty good, but could ve use a little bit more of a kick in my opinion. Luckily, the Bacon Bros house hot sauce is a great vinegar-based tang and spice combo to jazz these eggs up.
The barbecue sampler is the Way to go, I would highly recommend the brisket, smoked turkey breast, and the ribs. The provided vinegar-based barbecue sauce and spicy mustard are great additions and can jazz up any bike without having a single note to the meal. For the sides I recommend the brussels sprouts in the chili. The brussels sprouts could do with a little less of the sauce but overall there wonderfully flavorful and offer a great textural contrast to most of the softer items you will get in the meal.
For dessert, I highly recommend the pecan pie, the ice cream is subtle enough to add a creamy and us without being overly sweet and the crust is flaky, buttery delight just as you would expect at a place like this.
Such a great spot for food and beer... Farm to table and the B.E.T Sandwich is still my all time favorite.
My wife wanted to go here for a little while. From the moment we walked into this tacky, trying to hard to be hip cafeteria, and our server brings out what appears to be a recycled Grolsch beer bottle filled with water in a attempt to extra fancy (just weird).... I had a feeling this place would be a major let down. My wife ordered a $12 burger and she no sooner ordered and the server chimed in saying sides are extra, which she declines because she doesnt eat much. I ordered a Ruben with a side of onion rings $18, because everything else on the menu seemed to have too many overly complicated blends of bullshit layered on fru fru, I figured with a name like Bacon, this would be a place I would to try one of everything but i was wrong. Everything on the menu just seems to be trying to hard to be overly complicated. Good food does not need to be masked under additional flavors that seem to make very little sense. So my wifes $12 burger shows up and it literally looks like a McDonald's McDouble but a single. This sad small burger sat in the middle of a 11" plate looking back at her all alone and pathetic. My Ruben didnt look so lonely since i ordered onion rings and it looked slightly more appetizing then my wifes McDonald's quarter pounder. My brother inlaw ordered shrimp and grits and his looked wonderful. Make no mistake about it, the meat in her burger was very tasty but this thing should be half the price and larger with a much better presentation. Onto my Ruben, once again the meat was great but the actual sandwich was a flop. You missed the mark on toasting the bread, and "special Russian Sauce" does not belong on a Ruben. I asked my brother inlaw how his shrimp and grits are, and much to my surprise he responded, "It could be better". WOW, they looked so great but he said they tasted so wrong. As for the rest of the place, it looks like someone tried to give a cheap hipster wannabe makeover to a 80s Greek cafeteria. When walking to take my 3 year old son to the restroom, i passed by a walk in cooler the was ommiting a decaying funk like it belonged in a abandoned butcher shop. I ask you this, what on gods green earth did any of this have to do with bacon?
Great menu and awesome atmosphere. The brussel sprouts were the bomb.
I had the B.E.T. it is a pork belly pastrami with a duck eggs. It was very good. Our waitess was very informative and friendly. This was my first visit to the restaurant. I am in town on business and wish there was one of these in my hometown.
Never a bad meal! Love the casual atmosphere. The portions are good. Everything so fresh.
I arrived around 4:30, clearly before the dinner rush started. I was dining alone, and from out of town. The hostess and my waiter graciously offered their favorites for me to try. So I had the brisket with the local greens and the summer squash casserole. The service was friendly, the food arrived so quickly. The brisket was smoked for 14 hours and full of smoky flavor, I could cut it with my fork. Both sides were tasty - new to me. I ended with the key lime tort which was topped with grated lime and delicious. I was starving when I arrived and stuffed when I left. A great dining experience.
Easily my favorite spot to eat. Great service and great food. I do a lot of intermittent fasting in combination with my keto diet. When breaking my fast, this is the only place I come to. Which ends up being 2-3 Times a week.
The food is amazing and you won t be disappointed. Large portions of food and it tastes great.
What awesome place! Farm to table and in house charcuterie. Excellent food, and service!
Absolutely fantastic food, with all the meats cured in house. Literally everything I've had from Bacon Bros. was amazing. Fresh and flavorful, it is obvious that these meats are crafted with amazing care and talent. Portions are surprisingly large, prices are reasonable, and there is a ton of variety. If you're looking for a surprise, there is an appetizer that is the chef's selection of several meats for a good sampling of their wares.
Great service, very accommodating to our large group and very tasty unique dishes..Everyone was impressed.
First meal in Greenville. Come eat after you get paid $$$$$
I had dinner there last night. Leah was my waitress and gave a great service. She knew the menu and off menu perfectly. She checked up on me a few times (not to little, not too much) but just right.
I ordered the Pork and Lamb dish with a side of bacon. It was On Pointe and totally delicious! Leah helped pair my meal with wine and it was perfect.
I ll definitely be back and recommend trying it.
The fish sandwich I had in Monday made me sick. It was evident from the smell. I did not continue to eat the fish but ate the vegetables, that were fine. If a fish plate has a very fishy odour don't eat or don't even serve it. Other than that the food is usually great.
Decent but limited selection. That's a good thing. Good beer. Good staff
Wings were terrible. Loaded fries were equally bad. 2 appetizers and 2 mixed drinks $50. Never again. Liquid smoke is not bbq
My wife and I went to Bacon Bros. For our date night! What great food they have!! It was really awesome and a nice atmosphere too! The food was especially tasty and something for anyone!! My wife used to work for a company that fixes commercial kitchen appliances and she can personally vouch for the cleanliness of their kitchen!! We will certainly be going back again! The service there was really good too!
Food was average at best. Spent $58 and left wishing we had gone somewhere else.
Service and staff were excellent!
Went to lunch here with my husband and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing and the restaurant was very stylish and clean. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and he had the burger. Delicious! We will definitely go back!
I have been going to Bacon Bros since it first opened. My husband and I absolutely love this place. The food is consistently delightful!
What they do, they do really well! 5* and I am not a big meat person. The burger was great (next time I'm adding bacon to it - rookie mistake!) and the pimento cheese with bacon jam appetizer is AMAZING. I would never order pimento cheese unless someone recommended it, which they did, and I've been thanking them ever since.
Quite possibly some of the best food in the country.
Great food and great service. So proud to have something like this that is the definition of local.
Great BBQ with a few challenging options for adventurous palates. Great service.
Very good selection burger was tasty & juicy a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Bar selection is great
A bacon Manhattan? (Delish). Bacon popcorn? (Of course)... the list goes on. It's all wonderful (it's bacon, right?)
Went to the Pig Pickin' and Oyster fest - great food and super staff! Found a bandaid for my GF when she cut her finger and shared a cigarette with me in the back lot. My sole comment would be that there wasn't enough seating and they failed to mention the event was outdoors - so it was a bit chilly.
Food is good, very rich and hard on digestion if you're stomach isn't used to pork and heavy sauces. Not 4 or five because the drinks are a joke. I ordered the older fashioned for $9 and it was only about two sips, mostly ice and water, if they used high grade booze for the price I would have never known.
Loved the atmosphere but the food was pricey and I didn't love my burger. So salty. Sides are a la carte. Cool spot I may try again but wasn't blown away
We often return to this restaurant when driving through the area. The food is consistently very good and the wait staff a joy.
A little disappointed in draft selection but I'm from WNC, go figure. Food and service excellent!
Best burger ever! Brisket and Chuck; blended perfection!
Great atmosphere, service and food. The main entrees we tried were great and each side was amazing. Will be back for sure.
Great service at very fair prices. Excellent craft beer and Bourbon selection. Fantastic charcuterie! All around great place.
Great atmosphere. Slow food service. Not great food per price and expectation.
Food o.k. kinda pricey for what we got. It was recommended, but we were disappointed.
First time, bit of a limited menu, but everything we got was delicious!
The name says it all here. Food was great. High level bacon game across the board.
Service was a little slow. Wait staff was very personable and courteous. I'll be coming back soon.
Great atmosphere, classy interior etc. Food is good, to be expected of the price.
Entrance tends to be confusing. We dined as a big family group, arriving separately and we've had at least three smaller parties walking into their neighbor's business
Great service. Good is excellent and unique menu items
Bacon. It's in the name. I expected different than what was offered. I expected bacon wrapped shrimp, chicken, steak. I expected bacon sandwich on bacon baked bread. I expected bacon types, cuts and flavors. My expectations were of my own making, but expectations they were. I expected a bacon themed restaurant, but what I got was a Chic and hip BBQ restaurant with meat as the center point of every meal.
The food was good, don't get me wrong, I just didn't see what I had planned to see. I got the pulled pork sandwich with homemade chips. The flavor is good, even today. The chips would've been better without the seasonings. Popcorn bacon and peanuts was great... But not 6 bucks for a pint great.
Clean clean clean and clean. The staff do an amazing job of cleaning and it shows.
The overall experience was a letdown, but only to me. I'm certain that other people will grandly enjoy everything about this place. Enjoy.
Wonderful fusion of taste. I thought the appetizer (onion rings) could have been bigger. Otherwise, good
Great to have real food! Clean and passionate food. Bartenders and service staff are the real deal as they know their product with plenty of personality. It was like visiting Charleston's culinary Mecca but wrapped in a pleasant surprise in an unexpected location. Looking forward to dining there again in the near future.
Over priced and over hyped food. They dropped their best burger offering, so I don;t go there anymore.
Listen, this place is absolutely positively amazing!!
I had the Bbg sampler platter collards and onion rings
Chili cheese grits,
Yes sounds like a lot but I wanted to try diff things and take Home.
Daughter had fish and chips crazy good, light airy and delightful
Cornmeal dusted pickle chips and chili cheese fries for apps
Russell the waiter was amazing, attentive helpful and pleasant.
This was an amazing experience. Every single thing that we ate, drank, smelled and saw was the best I've ever had, I am a restaurant manager where we make everything from scratch and I recognize quality, please make it a point to try place. A truly great place to eat across the board.
Tons of beer selections micro and beyond!!!!
If you are within 100 miles go to this place!!!!!
Check out the daily specials for lunch and dinner
Went there with my family which was a decent sized group. Service wasn't great and the next day everyone that went ended up feeling sick even from just eating a burger. Will not be going back.
The best food and beverages along with friendly service!
The chefs have reinvented southern cuisine. A must for anyone visiting the area.
The Brisket was awesome and I hope to visit very soon keep up the great job
This place is my go-to when I'm in the area. Best happy hour menu ever...at the bar only so get there on time! Regular menu is great, atmosphere is great. Keep up the good work y'all!
So amazingly delicious. Best restaurant in Greenville. Service was great too.
6 stars if possible! This place is unbelievable! Every, literally EVERY element of every dish is thought out and homemade down to how it s grown or slaughtered. They cure and smoke their meats, locally grow or source their fruits and veggies. Everything tastes exquisite with layers of flavor that hit you one after the other. I never leave restaurant reviews, but had to on this one. My husband and I left this place with huge smiles and full bellies - so satisfied. The in-house ground burger with pimento and house-cures bacon was delicious! Deviled eggs amazing and only a $1 each?! The pricing is SUPER reasonable- This restaurant would cost 50% more if it was in Atlanta. So so so happy we stopped here on our way through to Charlotte. You won t regret it!
Overpriced, horrible food, and a non-chalant, uncaring waiter make for a one-star review. Highly not recommended.
Good food! A little pricey and we were slow to get our food and it wasn't busy. No biggie. Will give them another shot :)
If something awesome mated with something fantastic ... Bacon Bros would its love child ... go ..sit.. eat... smile
Great food but the service is slipping. I'm never disappointed by the food at Bacon Brothers. I highly recommend anything with briskett. The menu changes throughout the year so adventurous diners are rewarded with variety. My only complaint is that my last two visits included slow or subpar service. My last trip to Bacon Bros took close to two hours for lunch. Our waiter forgot about our table several times even though the place was only half full and appeared to be fully staffed.
