Top service, needed some wood cut which was done as required. Can't wait until they allow more than 4 cuts as I have a big project waiting and their saw is the only thing that will save me from making a mess.

B&Q has a good range of products. However, their payment systems are so out of date that they can t accept contactless payments, and they need to have a scruffy, hand-written note sticky-taped to the card-payment system. Perhaps something a little more professional would be appropriate.

Having swiped the payment card, the machine authorised the transaction and requested a signature. However, the cashier and, subsequently, the store manager refused to process the transaction, stating that hypothetically, the card could be stolen .



Firstly, perhaps B&Q should move with the times, and update their payment systems. Secondly, maybe B&Q should train their managers to be courteous and apologetic, and not have a bad attitude. Had he displayed such traits, as one might expect from a retail-store manager, I would be heading back to the store with cash. However, in this case, B&Q just lost a customer.

Unfortunately the trolley we picked up to carry our purchase turned out to be so filthy and covered in grit and cement dust that it got onto our purchases and transferred into our car, not happy!

My wife was upset, because something she wanted to buy increased in price by 25% in just one week. Otherwise it was just B and Q.

Visited Crewe store yesterday needed help locating our items, a young lady called Abigail came to our assistance nothing to much trouble, thank you again

Queuing systems and no of people they let in is a joke. It's almost like they don't want to sell you anything

Had exactly what I was looking for, after looking in several other places. With no look.

Specifically went to get some paint mixed! Very good system in place at this counter! And great service from our attendant.

Great can get everything there. But it's a nightmare to get there especially in rush hour traffic

disgusting customer service.. staff are dam rude. manager is a word I use loosely needs some people skills.. I was injured in store. am now sat in hospital. they did not give a hoot.. shocking place.. H&S will be notified

Big B&Q store sells everything from Bathrooms and kitchens to barbecues

Great store in Alsager sadly people dont seem to understand social distancing or how to follow arrows on the floor.

Staff are new and don't know where items are located or what they are and just guess. Staffing probably due to the lockdown but new staff should be better trained, we could actually have been inside for half the time with better directions and with people queuing outside, they were losing customers.

Serious lack of staff (staff member at self service till lack of customer service skills) and only know their section. Waiting for 10 minutes for help.

Poor customer service experience. Not like the old days where they would help you find products

Had to queue to get in but store almost empty, unable to get the simple 3 x 15mm gate valves I needed, none at all on the shelves.

Very well set, trolleys were cleaned and limited people in store giving you lots of room to browse and shop

If you are thinking of doing click and collect, be aware that the 3 day turnaround mentioned online is inaccurate and orders are taking up to 3 weeks to be ready for collection!! I'm into week 2 and still waiting.

Awful service staff unhelpful and product supplied was terrible (block paving)corners missing and lots chips only gave 1 start as it won't let me give zero

Has most things that you may need for your Diy project though a little pricey.

Whatever you want for your home or garden, it's not crowded at all

OK just so so spread out I guess they have a lot of stock but seemed to take forever to find things nice staff though Simon on power tool area was very helpful

Not happy a staff member made us walk all around the barriers when there was no queue yet as we got our trolly a guy just walked straight in and straight past us.

Gave up today. Asked a guy for a product and was sent to one end of store. Couldn't find it. Lady sent me to other end of store. No there. Checkout guy said he didn't know.

A massive B&Q warehouse on the outskirts of crewe, just before the railway station. We'll stocked for all aspects of D. I. Y if you can't find it then they probably don't make it. The only complaint I have is that when I went on a hot dry day, at the time of the corona crisis that you had to queue up for quite some time when all I wanted was a few plants for the garden, they didn't have much of a variety and all the plants needed a good watering but apart from that it's OK.

Nothing wrong with this good old b and q, avoid going at peak times though, particularly around 5 ish, the area tends to get quite congested

Big car park. A wide choice of DIY accessories to keep one busy during this pandemic period.

We were in a hurry and had a list with us. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We definitely went to the right place! Well done B&Q.

Superstores are not a nice experience especially B&Q's. Drab and difficult to get any staff to help - not because of the staff but limited customer service in operation. The stock on the shelves is untidy and especially pre packed items are missing. a recent visit for dado rials, returned home to fine every one in the packs were unable and bowed like dogs legs. Seems to be a regular occurrence at B&Q where quality checks seems to be amiss somewhere for items before landing on the shelf.

No paint matching available and no wood cutting available. The only 2 things i went in for.

A good selection of products at a reasonable price,although couldn't get everything I required. Overall the best DIY store out of them all.

What can you say, it's B&Q, check prices of DIY stuff elsewhere first.

Used to be able to get things from b&q without a problem...but there's very little reason to go there these days ....there very low on stock....disappointing???
Trust your own judgement not reviews from local guides ....it's all that matters .
Then you won't be let down
