Community Nursing and Rehabilitation Review

People there are very nice the place is clean it a nice place to be in

CNR is the best nursing home I have ever been to! I have been here for 10 years and there is no limitation of what they will go to to help me! I would recommend this facility to anyone who asked me about a nursing home!

It's like being in jail or prison and they make up their own rules

This facility has had its ups and downs like any other but digging through the trenches we have can out on top . We have made lots of changes and everyone likes the changes and all the positive things to come .

CNR is an amazing place. Staff is caring and loving with the residents. Their activity program is one of a kind!

This is my first experience working in healthcare. This is a great place for people to come for therapy and long term care. This is a great experience for me. Staff and residents are nice here.

Can only say just a few nurse's only cared .Worst place ever.Food is bad.Not enough staff to handle everything .Would never take my mother back there again.When you visit make sure you check out upstairs also.

I like that they have snacks available for residents daily

Not suprised at all. Remember, they say...they're a five star facility.
I'm still trying to figure out why, so many lies and false advertising.
I know that people there have done the most horrible things, with
supposedly good intentions.

The facility is going through some really good changes. The ED is doing amazing things, and making some amazing changes all for the GOOD. Staff is caring, and the resident's are happy. When you walk in the building, it does not smell like one would expect it to when thinking of a long term facility. The staff takes pride in knowing this is the resident's home and making sure it is fully treated that way.

My mother was there for almost 3 months for rehabilitation because she hurt her back. When she came home, she was worse than when she was admitted. I agree that they make you feel welcome and at home, but none of that matters if they are not taking care of your loved one if you are not there. My mother said she would be calling for someone, and they took their time coming. On 2 different occasions I was there, I had to have someone clean her up after being like that in bed all night. They were nice enough to let us celebrate her birthday there, but we had to leave and I called to see if they had put her back in bed from her wheelchair, and they hadn't. She was in her wheelchair for almost 2 hours after we left. Now, because of their slacking, she needs to go back to the Rehabilitation Center, but she will definitely not be going back to that one. I don't know how they got as many stars as they have, but the staff must be leaving reviews, because I doubt that families that have had loved ones in there is leaving all of these 5 star reviews!!!

Great place to work! CNR makes you feel like family.

This place is HORRIBLE! my mom has been in here 3 day and it has been nothing but awful! First she has a broken ankle and needs assistance to walk (such as a walker) to even get to the bathroom a few feet away. A walker was not given to her when she arrived so she tried paying the nurse on dutie for assistance or even to just get her something to help her walk....no one came. My mother ended up sitting in her own urin until the next morning when the day staff arrived this was unacceptable. Second night my mother was calling the nurse and never seen one until again the next morning. Something has to be done about this place I can only imagine how the people who are there for a week or longer. I'm moving my mother to a different facility and doing everything in my power to make sure this place is investigated.

I am new to this building and everyone has been so welcoming to me.

This facility is a wonderful place. The staff is so caring and nurturing and treats all like family.

My family member was at this facility for rehab from a discharge from the hospital. She maybe received therapy once a week. Her roommate's family was homeless and was sleeping in the room on chairs, eating free meals from the dining room, and when my family member went down for meals the homeless brother slept in my family's bed. (found out he had lice).
During her stay there the showered her twice leaving her in the shower room by herself both times. The facility smelled horrible like urine. The staff WASN'T friendly and didn't treat my family member with respect. BEWARE of the 5 star ratings they are receiving. Very misleading and not true.
Don't allow your loved one to go here.

I love all the pretty ladies that take wonderful care of me

CNR is a family oriented place. The staff is very caring and welcoming. It is a clean environment and will do what it takes to make your loved ones happy to be here.

just went to visit a family member, and the minute I walked in the smell of urine about knocked me over..this was not from a certain room or an isolated smell. the whole place stunk! and a aid on the first night told her if she had to pee before they could find a bedpan to just pee in the bed and they would change it later! Needless to say she is out of there now,Thank God! worse place ever

Community nursing and rehab is a great place! The staff is great and so is the food!

You can't help but feel right at home when you walk into this facility. The walls are decorated and painted so nicely and the receptionist is very welcoming. Having personally dealt with the therapy staff, I can say first-hand that they're incredible. All very knowledgeable, helpful, and it's very clear they're there to help rehab these residents, whether they're going home or staying long-term. The nursing staff was always kind and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend this facility, whether you're looking for rehab-to-home or long-term placement!
