Ayre Hotel Gran Via, Barcelona Review

WATCH OUT! THE STAFF STEALS YOUR BELONGINGS. I have lost an ASUS tablet and money. The hotel is not responsible. Do not come here to lose !! Located in a tourist area, but not recommended for rest due to the stress caused by the agglomeration of the Gran Via. The staff was mean and looked over your shoulder. I would like to report them

I stayed only one night at this hotel but I loved the little time I spent there. First, the hotel staff were polite and accommodated us checking in early with no hassles. Secondly, they spoke multiple languages so were able to INTERACT pleasantly with the guests. Thirdly, I left my shopping bag at the lobby cafe and it was brought up to my room immediately called the lobby, after several hours of losing it. Fourthly, my room was very clean and quiet even though the hotel is in a busy area. Fifthly , it's close to a lot of things, including transportation, restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent value for money
I stayed 3 nights in February 2019.
Really a nice friendly knowledgeable staff structure and friendly, with nice rooms and a large hall for the first intercontinental breakfast with many choices.
If I have to find something to object I would say that the bathroom has a sink too small but in return a huge shower. While the breakfast from a 4 star hotel would have preferred to get the car to orange juice and not a generic juice ... but then again they are my opinions.

Excellent hotel, would defiantly come back. Modern clean rooms, helpful friendly staff. The beds were very comfortable I often struggle to get a good night's sleep in hotels, but not this one.

A four star hotel with very good value for money.
Fantastic breakfast, very good cleaning, good maintenance, everything works. The staff very polite and always willing to help you. The only thing that would be missing would be a small gym and an electric jug with complimentary infusions in the room. Although the bar is open and at good prices.

Very friendly staff, modern rooms, quality furnishings and a very rich breakfast buffet. Centrally located at the plaza de spagna and still very quiet due to double glazing. The shuttle bus from the airport stops almost at the door.

Clean, breakfast in the buffet is incredible and the buffet is huge. A great variety of food for all tastes, and the hotel staff friendly and incredibly helpful!
Its location is very good in the center and 400 meters from the square and the metro !!!

The Hotel is really good! The Prices are abolutly fair! But the best is the Breakfast! The Chorizo and Iberiko Ham were great. Spanish Pie and also the Home Made Pia tasts great too! The got also Champagne :)
For lunch we tried Hamburger Medium and Gambas as Tapas! Excelent!!!

Worst hotel! Let my hair straightener here and they want to charge me $140AUD. Ridiculious. 6 weeks later no straightener.

Close to fountain, metro, and Aerobus. The room is very small with no view and their is a support beam in the room that takes up valuable space. The bathroom door does not completely shut! The staff is super friendly. Grocery store right next door and across the street. Go to Audrey's, it's a great place for breakfast and coffee if you don't want to pay the 14 for the buffet.

Hotel where you can sleep well and have a tasty breakfast. Located within walking distance of the station, the palace, the monjuk fountain and two stops from Plaza Catalunya. From the airport, you can take a 46 bus (2.15 euros, August 2017). Breakfast costs 13 euros (cheaper to buy breakfast right from them than on a booking), a buffet of good dishes, champagne, about 5 types of cheese and delicious coffee, sausages are fatty. A small lifak, ask at the reception about the terrace with a beautiful view.

Very good cocktails and excellent staff. All very organized, clean as well as being in a very central area, close to everything and the Museum for a fairly tight price. I really liked the experience. And the cocktails in the bar of the best in Barcelona.

If you are in Barcelona and you have to look for a hotel this is yours, large rooms and a reasonable price.

I stayed at ayre hotel for 4 days, mid June 2017. The hotel location is excellent, right near a central metro station and other public transportation services. There direct A2, A1 busses services from airport to city center and few other busses, busses from airport drop you 1-2 minutes walking from the hotel. The stuff is very pleasant and welcome, speaking fluent English. I asked for a room directing the street, but I could choose one directing to the back. The room was kept very clean and it was one of the comfortable hotel rooms I've been. I would like to thank the hotel stuff for a pleasant vacation and certainty I will recommend this hotel and will come back when I'll be in Barcelona again.

We had a very nice week at the hotel! We had the room from the street and you can't hear noise at all and the super blackout blinds! This is what I like! Breakfast YMMMY!!!! Maybe a bit expensive but really worth every ! Staff at the hotel very friendly and chatty. Its great that you have apposite the bus stop and you can hop to the airport for only 7.20 ! Location is perfect we walked everywhere. I can not wait to back there !!! I only dont like the pillows they were tooo hard.

The Restoration boys an exquisite education, but not the great majority of the reception guys who don't know how to say hello.

the location is perfect , and the service is good , one problem one of our group ben robbed in the morning in the restaurant 7:30 am even they asked every one what is ur room number and name but the fl to avoid thieves from being in and steal , and refuse to let the robbed person the DVR and the did nothing

The hotel is in an exceptional location. Easily accessible from the airport, 5 minutes walk to the Magic Fountain and two minutes from the metro station and bus stop. The rooms are very nice and spacious, the buffet breakfast is very varied and of good quality

Great location if you go to a fair in Montjuic. Very comfortable room, equipped and quiet, with good quality of sleep and a very correct bed. Very friendly and attentive staff, and surprisingly they all spoke in Catalan. Full breakfast buffet. Helpful when luggage is stored free of charge. Very good value for money. We will repeat.

The rooms were nice and comfortable and breakfast was varied. As an overnight guest, I was very satisfied.

I smell a cigarette in the hallway and I was filed on the front desk.
Catalunya museum and music fountain are nearby. Car parking is available. However, it is paid. But you can check out and fool around.

Grate place to stay in Barcelona, near public transit, not far from the city center. The rooms are big and clean. Professional staff at reception and hotel restaurant.

The toilets do not close the doors, the blankets are uncomfortable. The food is normal, the choice is big. The wifi doesn t work very well. The outlets are not very conveniently located. The soap in the room is smelly. The view from the window is not very good. cons, and yes, the 408 room we had was very large unlike the others, the comfort is excellent in it.

Awesome location, with acces to bus, both to the city and airport, and metro. Also its really close to a lot of turist hotspots and there are plenty of restaurants and 24h shops around.
