Would not drive any car in SA without the AA. Even if some of their rules need to be revised, they offer very good service for a crazy low price. You cannot compare the price of AA versus calling some other service.

Do. Get the top package and armed response if you need. If in trouble I would call the AA first, before any govt service.

Very clean and neat offices. It's a good place to visit before traveling to another country by road or ship or train or by Air or by bus
They also issue International Drivers licences /licenses

Used the app...Fast and efficient on the multiple times I've used them. The app tells them exactly where you are. Press the button and they call you!!.. for 200 madiba's a month I have peace of mind at last with small kids in the car....

On the 11th of March 2019 I had a handbrake problem that burst my rear wheel rim and not the Tyre in Witbank, KwaGuqa and I called the AA from my App and in under 40 minutes my vehicle was towed away safely. Talk of Professionalism and Efficiency. So yes I am impressed.

Everybody should be a member of the AA. I have been stuck next to the road too many times to remember but always got home safe, thanks to AA. Excellent service. Thank you for the peace of mind.

One of the best experiences of my life, if you are a car enthusiast then you should visit this place during events.

Good service but price is too much for the Carnet Dr Passage.

They are always on point. If you are in an unsafe place, they offer you a security guard till the tow truck arrives. Impressive.

Place is very clean and everyone is very helpful and friendly.

New renovations were long awaited. Very nice upgrade

Best service ever!!! 1st time I was stuck on the N1 and they came to the rescue swiftly. 2nd time my car had to be towed to a dealership and they arrived within 20 minutes. They are the best, you won't regret it. I will be taking a warranty extender and/or maintanance plan with them because I trust them. Very happy with them.

30 minute response time yesterday morning for a flat tyre at 5.15am in the morning. Excellent service and all tracked via sms. Very friendly and professional Call Centre Staff as well as the mechanic / Technican who arrived to change my tyre. Thank you and keep up the excellent work!

Exceeded expectations, got my international drivers license quickly

I broke down on the highway and the AA were there within half an hour

Applied online for my IDP. Arrived and got it within 20 mins. All you need to bring is your drivers license, ID and a passport photo and pay R295

Shocking service. I called in for support at 10h29 and fifteen minutes ago I called to find out what the delay was only to be told it would be another 45 minutes. Why does no one call to give an indication of how long the wait would be to enable us to plan our time around the wait. This is completely unacceptable. Had I not called in I wonder if anyone would have called me.

Excellent service, highly recommend. A bit hard to find but worth looking for.

One great experience with a sports car around the track

I've been a member of the AA of South Africa for many years.

Recently, when I was stranded at a shopping centre owing to a faulty alternator, their patrolman responded to my call and arranged for the car to be towed by an AA towtruck to the auto-electrician - everything was done with courtesy, grace and a smile.

I've never found the AA patrolman anything less than knowledgable and professional in every way.

What an experience being at the AA offices in Kyalami.

Fast , efficient and effective : On the 13th February I attempted to leave my house at 7:20am only to find my battery was dead . I called the AA and 20 minutes later Mr Alan Aubrey was there he started my car but an hour later my car did the same thing at a shopping center. Within 10 minutes of my 2nd call Mr Alan Aubrey was back again with his same efficient , kind, helpful and reassuring professionalism and assistance that went over and above what was required. I had my baby with me so he took special care to ensure we were going to be safe. He even found a fault that the dealership had been unable to

Being a petrolhead..there is no better place than the race track...the standard is international with all facilities and amenities..

My parents have been members of the AA for as long as I can remember, but after this latest experience I'm advising that the AA membership not be renewed again. My Mom's car needed to be towed because it broke down, luckily at her place at the retirement village. Booking the tow went well. Tow truck turned up, took away car to garage to be fixed. But he left behind the top cover for the air filter - luckily the garage called me to say it was missing, and we managed to locate it.
Car was fixed, and when I called to ask if it could be fetched and returned to my Mom, I got a simple "no, not covered".
It's national lockdown. I'm in Jhb South, the car is in Jhb West, my Mom is in quarantine in her retirement village in Modderfontein, Edenvale. You'd think that after decades after being an AA member and bearing in mind the exceptional circumstances we're going through, that the AA would have some sort of understanding and compassion for the situation my Mom is facing...But no. Bitterly disappointed in the AA's attitude, and they have lost a long-standing member.

Absolutely SHOCKING PATHETIC service. They do not reply to e-mails or phone calls. If you call them they do not answer. I hung on for 1 hour and 10 minutes, before I realized that nobody will ever answer. I had to end the call because I was out of airtime. THIEVES! They take your money but after that make sure you can never contact them again.

Have asked for some assistance in getting a warranty premium not even a reply
Unimpressed and this is before, hopefully never, any possible claim
