The Australian War Memorial is a must see for all visitors to Canberra and a beautiful location to learn about Australia's armed conflicts and to pay your respects to those who gave their lives for their country.

Absolutely fantastic. Did the free guided tour and I couldn't recommend it enough. Spent a few hours here and enjoyed a sausage roll and coffee for a very reasonable price at the cafe. Definitely worth the visit. Got so much information and it's very interesting and informative
The architecture at the memorial is very impressive.
Very informative and interesting look at the history of Australian involvement in warfare.
A very moving remembrance service of my 3 great uncles lost in WW1!
Great exhibition, wonderfully presented in a way you can really feel how people suffered and fought - gives a deep understanding about the wars. Would definitely recommend!
Easily the best war memorial on the world. World leading displays and a collection that is no doubt the envy of museums the world over. The best place to come and pay your respects in a beautiful but solemn location with a good gift store and nice food available at the cafe. Parking can be a bit of a struggle sometimes but it's worth the effort. A gold coin donation will be much appreciated but give as much as you can to help keep the great work the Memorial does going
A must when visiting Canberra. A very educational experience as well as very eye opening. Even for people living in Canberra, you should go at least once
Great place to learn about Australia's involvement overseas and in defence of our nation
