A must visit place for those who love pearls and jewels. Very friendly staff. Staff shared good information about Australian pearls, really appreciate that. Overall great visit and wonderful place. Totally loved everything about this place.

I had great experience buying nice pearl ring there. They provided different kinds of jewellery selections including rings, bracelets, necklaces and pendants. All staff was very helpful and friendly. A place worth going and good for shopping. It is located in the central part of Sydney which makes it convenient and easy to go.

Fantastic Opal Jewelers, they took the time to explain the different cuts of Opal and how they are made. They had a wide selection of different colours and styles they also gave away two sets of pear earrings (in exchange for a review here) which I was happy to do given the service we had.

It was comfortable to select a variety of products that suit the taste of customers at the desired price range.
In addition to necklaces, earrings, and rings, it is said that you can only buy Naseok.
I thought it was a normal jewelry store, but I was a little scared to press the bell and go through the iron window, but the staff was kind.
It is written here that if you write a review, you will get a pearl earrings, but it seems to be taking care of you even if you don't use it.
Here I went to an opal accident at a jewelry store in the paddy's market, and the staff here seemed to be more expertly explaining the opal.
If I had to go to another store, I would have bought a doublet or triplet opal..

Fell in love with the saleswoman, she was so kind and professional. We were there a few weeks ago and unfortunately I don't remember her name. I wasn't planning on buying anything and my boyfriend just wanted one stone for his little brother but we both ended up purchasing more than we were planning and we were so happy with it! Thank you!

Visited the store 1 hr and 15mins before closing, looking for pearl pendant for my mom. There were no customers when we arrived. The first 10 mins was fine until another customer came, and we were almost ignored. The sales lady originally served us only occasionally came back to check if we were good but would disappear very quickly to serve the new customer. More than half the time we spent there was waiting for her. She finally came back after that customer left. We then asked the price, but it was over our budget, we tried to bargain but she said she couldn t do what we offered. We said it was fine. She started to say that the pearl we chose was so beautiful and we have spent so long here, and our time is very valuable. Of course our time is valuable and we d been waiting for her for long. We thanked her for her time and were about to leave. She seemed unhappy and even forgot to lead us and open the door for us. She later opened the first door and left. So rude! We couldn t open the second one and were stuck in between of two security doors until another staff helped us. I remember my first visit was not like that, but I bought an opal pendant then. Feel like we don t deserve to be treated well if we don t buy. Overall, this s a very unpleasant experience. I will visit the store no more.

I am surprised by the reviews the store has received, given my experience this evening. My husband and I went to the store 40mins before their closing time. Were welcomed warmly but as soon as we said we haven't decided yet what to buy but just started looking for opals as presents for family back home, we were quickly shown few stones and the lady kept saying how expensive they are and we should have a budget in mind before looking for them. I liked the big pearl ear rings she was wearing and asked her if I can have a look at such pearls in her store..and she said such large pearls would cost me above $4000 and asked us to think of budgets. I am appalled by her behaviour. At any time we hadn't given any indication to her as to how much we can or would want to spend. She gave us a book with information on opals and showed us out. Customer service was outright rubbish! You should never judge your customer hun... you never know their potential if you have the potential to sell.

My daughter wanted a triplet opal necklace for her birthday. I had done research online to get an idea of price, etc. and they charged me way too much for this trinket. I wasn't going to haggle on my daughters birthday gift, though, and I still give them 4 stars b/c despite this because the salesman made her feel special and took the time to explain different opals, then gave her a couple of raw stones w deposits for her collection before we left. There is something to be said for a cost of time and effort. This place seems to deal mainly w high end buyers, so it's possible they do good deals if you are looking for something more. Cheers!

A great experience for me and my family. Not knowing anything about the different types of opal, Jaimie Perryment spent considerable time with us, and in particular, my daughter, who wanted to bring some opal back to Canada for her best friends. I highly recommend this place.

A bit hidden on the 3rd floor. If you come in one expects a store with "Film Kulissenflair" and high security tract - like in an old Western :) the advice was very good. The wishes were listened to and many opals were shown. It was left to one all the time in the world and one was not, as in other shops urged to buy. Apparently there are up to 50% voucher (but not on all stones). To buy it there are pearl earrings and also locals tips to Sydney. The prices seem very fair to me and the variety is very big! As for stones and prices. Hope we did not pay too much :) but the stone is super colorful with great luminosity (even in shady daylight).

Marjan and Maria were super helpful in choosing my triplet opal ring. It's a very friendly atmosphere and I felt very comfortable making my decision. I also got to see how opal is cut and learn about the different opals.

We were taken care of by a person of Asian appearance, who had been frowning all the way from when he asked us to take a seat. He clearly did not want to serve us. Could not believe when he said "Indians always get stuff under 200". He got offended and stormed off when I asked he he will provide certificate of authenticity. It was such a terrible experience, the owner should be ashamed to employ people like him.

I would say this is racism and urge people not to support this kind of behavior.
