sent my computer in to have the CPU water cooler installed but was placed in the worst possible spot which causes my CPU to overheat. they also plugged the AIO pump in the wrong spot on the motherboard meaning the pump wasn't even on and pumping water. really disappointed...

Quick service, but unfortunately they knowingly tried to sell me a PCI WiFi card when PCI was abandoned for PCI-E years ago. They made us pay before everything was brought out, then told us a part was out of stock. They tried to give us store credit. Got a refund. Taking my business elsewhere to PLE, where the service is better.

Terrible sales service. 3 days since requesting express delivery and still not even dispatched. Won't return emails, won't answer phone calls and don't bother waiting in the phone queue, you get the pleasure of leaving a message after holding for 30 minutes! Not good enough. If you can't handle the sales volume stop offering the service or at the very least communicate something on your website.

Was promised a 5 day delivery.

20 days later the order hadn't even been made. I was promised my the sales manager this would be rectified if i paid a $150 down.
In compensation they offered a 1 to 5 day speedy delivery and a free carrying case for my ordered laptop.

Sales manager went on vacation and 2 months in I received a refund and an apology.

They haven't paid their accounts with the distribution center and are making false promises that things will arrive that they can't even order. They just string you along.

When I finally spoke to the actual manager of the store he was apologetic and said he's as frustrated and angry as I am but there is nothing he can do but refund my money.

Phil the manager was the only honest person I spoke to. They company is a total f!ck around. Go to PLE computers....

Amazing! I came with a software issue, It could have taken few more days if I went to another company but I'm glad my sister recommended this place. Very good customer service. They fixed my problem on the same day.

Ordered and paid for a part on November 23 was told I would receive a call or text when it was ready for pickup.
I actually needed it today, 3 months later, and had received no notification. Went into the store and was told it had never been ordered as they'd changed management - a common excuse I've seen on other recent 1 star reviews. My phone number wasn't even in the system, but luckily my untouched order was. Had to provide my bank details as they have to get it back from the previous owner - I don't feel like this problem should be pushed back onto the customer.

I have kept the details as I don't expect to see my money back without having to contact consumer affairs. Still need to order the part, but will not be going through Austin.
Extremely disappointed by the entire experience.

I have been with Austin Computers for over 10 years and had numerous computers built by them. I have always had excellent service and just recently from the service technician Justin who was extremely courteous and helpful in all areas of expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend Austin Computers to my friends and colleagues. Kind regards

Yep probably one of the worst places for buying computer equipment from in Perth. I bought an Antec p180 case that had already been worked on, damaged and obviously returned to the store and then been repackaged for the next poor fool.

Low technical knowledge, poor expectation management and poor customer service. I selected Austin Computers in Osborne Park because the computer I was interested in was in stock. When I arrived the questions I had of the computer could not be answered confidently and the computer would take 2 days to put together, so I paid for the computer and delivery. 3 days later I called and was told "If we haven't called you it is not ready", but would look into it and call me back. The end of the next day I called and was told "If they haven't called me it isn't ready"... This time the conversation ended that it would be followed up with an ETA... Which it was and I was told, they didn't have the graphics card in stock and the PC would cost another $90... Which I agreed to and paid over the phone.. I was also told it would be delivered the next morning. The next afternoon I called... Apparently the computer had not been picked up for delivery... But they said I could come by and pick it up. So... And uber trip later... I arrived... None of the documents were ready and they were surprised when I asked if they were still going to change me for delivery... Although the wait for that decision would have been longer than the cost of the uber ticking away... So I said don't bother. When I got home the computer worked well.... Although the invoice description did not match the upgraded version I paid for. Not my best shopping experience.

Website design is good but is extremely slow.
Tried website on mobile devices, different browsers, different computers at different locations with different ISP's. Website home page looks good but is basically useless. Filters take forever to respond. Two star deduction for a crap site.

Their return procedure is downright illegal. Informing customers that the decision to refund is based on the manufacturers decision to credit them. A further two star deduction applies for lack of customer service..

Was sold a CPU that was opened. The CPU still had thermal paste residue on it. Contacted sales who could care less as they couldn't provide an appropriate remedy. Sales staff suggested I contact the service department if I have any technical issues with it while completely missing the point that they sold me a second hand product as 'new'. I'll be contacting Fair Trading.

These guys used to be great... 8 years ago. Don't ever try to order online because you will be waited weeks upon weeks for an item which is supposed to be available the next day. If you do happen to visit in store, be prepared to wait because everytime a call comes in they will answer the call, regardless if you're next or if you're already being served at the counter. Absolutely horrible service. Go to PLE or even just order of ebay... Save yourself the hassle.

By far the most disappointing experience I have ever had with a retailer. I spent two weeks waiting for a keyboard and mouse to be delivered - express shipping paid for due to urgency. After several follow up emails and calls spanning over two weeks with no response, I was eventually told that the model I ordered was no longer available. My options - refund or order one of their more expensive models as there was nothing of similar value available. To be clear, price was not the issue here as we are talking $30-$50 keyboards. The service was poor as were the options or lack of options offered to resolve the issue for a disadvantaged customer
- especially given it was a result of Austin's incompetence.

"I walked in requesting a quote. A Chinese lady asked me "how much money you have", I merely asked about credit term finance options, she laughed stating "we no have stock" then walked away and IGNORED ME. Its clear they have stock considering vast amounts of stock (PC components) is on display.. I am literally seething with anger for the way I was treated."

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They don't care about customer service. If you don't front up with cash then they'll treat you like some second class citizen. I suspect they may even be racist.

Deceptive advertising. I required a workstation, walked in to purchase a system which is advertised as "in stock". The salesman informed that its not in stock even though their website stipulates that it is. The salesman then said they're missing items for the build and asked if I'm happy to substitute the missing parts, I agreed. The salesman struggled to find appropriate alternatives stating "I don't know much about AMD stuff" while laughing it off. The experience was unpleasurable to say the least.
