I'm hesitant to share how much I loved my appointment with Dr Anderson because she's already a very busy Doctor. She's kind and really listens so her advice and recommendations are perfectly tailored to you and your situation. I cannot recommend her enough!

I had never seen Melissa before but I liked her. She was thorough and wasn't in a rush to get me in and out.

Let me start by saying I'm a nurse. I've worked in several types of nursing jobs. Austin Area OBGYN is a class act facility. My personal experience with Dr. Akin has been nothing but high quality care. He takes the time to listen and explain in detail any question I might have. I even credit him for saving my life during an emergency c-section. He is cool and calm in every situation.
Additionally, the AAOBGYN staff that surrounds Dr. Akin has always been great. I have no complaints.

I cannot say enough about this place. Dr. Akin and his practice are the ideal when it comes to healthcare. I have oncology, rheumatology, allergy, and other specialists to visit throughout the year, not to mention others for family members so I see a LOT of physicians. Even though this group is always so busy, appts. are easy to schedule, and the front desk gals are efficient, friendly and check you in quickly. I usually try to arrive a few minutes early and occasionally I ve been called early which is nice! Even if I m just in time there is rarely a wait. You get the general feeling that everyone there really enjoys working there and the people they work with. I do SO appreciate that you can have a consult, exam, ultrasound, biopsy if needed, and lab work all in the SAME visit. Most places would require separate appts. and as a business owner the time savings and efficiency is a dream! Optional free valet parking is nice as well as free designated parking out front are nice pluses. All this is secondary of course to the most important fact that the surgical care I received from Dr.Akin in two cases about 9 years apart (!) was incredible. Advanced procedures from a tenured professional with the latest technologies give you amazing results & a better than expected recovery time. Thank you Dr. Akin & Staff! So grateful for you all!

Everyone was super friendly, helpful. Designated parking was very helpful! Clean area. They were fast in getting me in and out. I had questions and Dr. Capet took time to answer my questions and gave so much helpful information and hand outs to review for further information!

I have been a patient of Dr. Capet for 5 years now. I just went through my first pregnancy and my delivery had some complications which resulted in emergency surgery. My recovery was slow and rough, but Dr. Capet and her staff have been there for me every step of the way. I cannot express how thankful I am that I was in Dr. Capet's hands.

Dr. Uribe is funny, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. At first, I thought it would be awkward because he is a male; but I could not have been more comfortable! His professionalism is phenomenal and I would recommend him to anyone needing an OBGYN.

Dr Akin and his staff are great. My overall experience didn t go well this past time due to an outside vendor, but Akin made me comfortable up front and his nurses took care of me in the end.

I have been a patient of Dr. Akins for close to 25 years. He delivered both of my children and he has always been the most professional and knowledgeable person possible. He takes time to answer every question or concern in a way that you can easily understand. He also is so kind and caring and he never makes you feel rushed. As my gynecological and obstetrical needs have changed over the years, Dr. Akin has always been by my side to help me deal with each stage. I would recommend him to anyone searching for great care.

Jacqi Lockwood is absolutely the best NP in town. Highly recommend. You will always feel like you are the only once there and 100% listened to and more importantly, heard.

I am new to the Austin area, so finding the right doctors was important to me. But I hit the jackpot in Dr. Garcia! She is THE BEST doctor I have ever had. She mentioned that she had a good recommendation for a dermatologist in Austin that I should go to, but in the midst of the appointment forgot to provide me with the information. Dr. Garcia then call my cell after hours to apologize for not giving me the information and wanted to make sure I had it. She just went above and beyond in the appointment and really made me feel comfortable and informed!

I can not begin to put into words what a relief it has been being a patient of Dr. Cowan's. Having some terrible experiences with 2 other OB's in the area, Cowan has been awesome. I suffer from Endometriosis and Adenomyosis and Dr. Cowan is very knowledgeable of both diseases and has been able to help me get most of it under control. If you are new to the area or looking for a new dr, i suggest you start here, it'll be worth it.

On time appointments, friendly staff, and Dr. Mark Akin is the BEST. I'm so glad I had him as my Dr. I am an older mom, and he was always thorough, explained everything, and put me and my husband at ease during my pregnancy and birth.

I love AAOBGYN staff and my doctor Casey Friesenhahn. If you want your one stop shop doctor s office, go here. They re so efficient in sending forms to you before your visit, most of the time I just walk in, check-in and get seen within the next 10 minutes.

The nurses are always kind and courteous when handling you and the front desk staff is incredible as well.

Casey is AMAZING. I can t say there s anyone else I would feel as comfortable with, considering how invasive exams can be, but she has always made me feel comfortable and safe. I ve been seeing her for 6 years and I will never see anyone else in the Austin area.

Dr. Uribe is hands down the BEST! I have been his patient for 24 years and still feel as if I am his only patient of the day! Never rushes, always listens--Love him and his staff!

This has been such a lovely journey with dr.Garcia. She is above and beyond. My sister and I both have her as our doctor and we could not ask for any better. She listenes intently and is never in a rush to go any where. Very encouraging and when she walks in no matter what s going on she makes you feel great with her postive energy and comforted by her knowlage. This is my first child and my sisters as well. I can t see our experience being any better. God bless her and her family 10x over what she has blessed us.

Dr. Wang was able to see me last minute and couldn't have been happier to see me. She makes you feel like you made a new friend. All questions were answered and the wall mounted TV for ultra sound viewing was the best! Ovaries look huge on a 36"

The staff is friendly and organized! My appointments run on time and with their online checkin process, I was in and out very quickly.

Suzanne is INCREDIBLE, so caring and knowledgeable. She has the best bedside manor and I trust her completely. All of the nurses and aides are wonderful too, as are the reception staff. My ONLY complaint is Doctor Aiken, who gets brought in for more complicated things (just when you don't want to have complaints) I'm sure he is very talented at the actual gyno stuff but his prep and bedside manor are very scatterbrained. Every time I've had him come in, he's left the door wide open despite me being exposed in the stirrups. I've been in the middle of a painful procedure and has him leave the room without warning to get more supplies (again, door open) because he didn't have time to prepare because he was 45 minutes late to my appointment! Then he made jokes about parts of the procedure going wrong--and they did! These are little things that don't scare me from AA because I have only had Aiken a few times but I always internally groan when they say they have to bring him in. He means well though, he's not mean. Also to AA's credit, when I reviewed my procedure and mentioned this they contacted me right away to see about making me feel better (though I guess those steps weren't teaching Aiken how awkward it is for a door to be left open when you're spread half naked in stirrups).

Dr Capet is amazing! Crisp and to the point. The facility is super clean and well managed.

Wonderful care and was out quickly. Great office. Both the medical professionals I saw today were very courteous and helpful. Natalie Carraras is the best!

This first office visit is the best I've ever had at any doc office. Everything is state of the art from check-in to check-out. It was a pleasure for me to realize that Dr. Seeker had actually read all the prepaperwork before seeing me. He even took the time to chat about my beloved doc who retired which is why I am looking for a new one. I have heard great things about the nurse practitioner here as well. Glad to know they care about we mature women, too.

DO NOT USE - Honestly, my doctor was great but the practice overall treats patients like a number. They overbill for so many tests every visit that are not needed (I did not have a high risk pregnancy) nor do they tell you about them or what they are for. They just show up on your bill. What upset me the most was they charged a $25 cancellation policy for a checkup post baby that I canceled. The billing department accused me of lying and treated me so horribly. I've paid them thousands of dollars OOP (on top of what my insurance paid them) and to be treated so rudely and horribly by someone over $25 is INSANE! I've never been treated this way before by anyone. I was shocked. This is the first time, I've ever called to ask about any bill. I've always just paid every single time without question. So this just shows what I can imagine is a horribly frustrating practice for someone who does try to get clarification or answers on a bill during a very important (not to mention) costly time. I will NOT be going back to AAOBGYN for my future pregnancies. ALL WOMEN deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy and I want to go somewhere who appreciates my service and loyalty. Not someone who is going to beat me up for $25.

Dr. Seeker and his staff and facilities are exceptional. I have been going here for 3 years. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The online responses to my questions have been prompt and thorough. Dr. Seeker explains each procedure thoroughly and always has time for any questions or concerns. He has helped with menopausal symptoms and is ahead of the game on all treatments available for women our age and their specific needs. Recently visited, 8/5, for mammogram, annual, and bloodwork and I was very impressed with their procedures for social distancing and disinfecting. Right down to a container for clean pens and used pens, and there was someone disinfecting chairs even while I was in the waiting room. I am 59 and know that a majority of his patients are young women who are expecting babies, and I have seen his interaction in the birth of my own grandchildren. Dr. Seeker and his facility have my high recommendation for women of any age regardless of their female needs.

Dr. Garcia is great and so is the staff. I am always comfortable in my appointments, Dr Garcia is very thorough with my health and she is quick with the parts of the exam that I don't like. The facility is very clean, and across the hall from the place where blood work is done making it super convenient. The bad thing I can say is there is bad cell reception in the office.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Uribe. He takes the time to get to know you, is very informative, allows you as a patient to make final decisions based off the research and percentages he provides with out being pushy in any way, and he has a wonderful sense of humor! I am beyond thankful that I followed the recommendation of so many of my friends and family to see Dr. Uribe. He s AWESOME!

Dr. Michael Phillips is an excellent Physician. He saved my life and my son s life. He is the best. I pray for Dr. Phillips every time that God should continue to give him the knowledge to take care of many many women. Thank you Doctor Phillips you are the best.

Dr. Philips is awesome. He makes sure we understand every aspect of the process by explaining clearly what's being done. He also takes time to answer all our questions and this is very important for me as this is my first pregnancy. I appreciate that Dr. Philips values our time as he tries to be on time for the appointment and the wait times have been like 15 mins or so until now. He spents all the time i need and i don't feel rushed, and im satisfied after the visit.

So far a great experience. The Dr. nurse Arin (hopefully spelled that right) is on point and made sure I understood all the information before I left my appointment. Both Dr Cowan and his assistant were awesome!

Dr. Wang is the best OBGYN I have ever met! I was suffering with something for a while and had gone to a previous doctor about it and when I found and spoke with Dr. Wang with my symptoms, she got me feeling better within a few months.

I'm a new patient to Dr phillip, he did my surgery, and so far, I'm very grateful. He is very professional, and friendly, he listens, and cares. The staffs are very friendly too. Very satisfied. I'm so happy I found him.

I was extremely worried, that I would not find a good Ob Gyn Doctor, after moving to Austin. Dr. Wang and her entire team, has been a godsend, to me. I could not ask for more in a Doctor. She is beyond caring and makes me feel so very comfortable. Any tests, normal or abnormal, are immediately posted and proper treatment prescribed. Delicate conversations are easy to discuss, with Dr. Wang and Kathy, her nurse. Everything, is located in one building and there is no running around, for mammogram or blood work. I never thought, that I could honestly say, that I love going to my Gynecologist, but I do, as Dr. Wang is the very BEST!

Jessica Schoening, NP is so awesome and super sweet! She is super nice and definitely makes the visit super comfortable!! I would recommend her to anyone!! The office staff was super friendly as well and made scheduling an appointment with.

Dr. Garcia is great! She made me feel so comfortable, the process was quick, easy, and painless. No judgement, she answered all my questions and was informative about everything! I m moving to Dallas in a couple months I would drive back into Austin to keep getting my appointments done by her .

Dr. Uribe is the best doctor there is! I am partial since I have been going to him since 1993 and he delivered both of my boys, ages 18 and 20 now. I love this man! He is like family. Dr. Seeker is such a great doctor. His bedside manner is amazing! I have been seeing him for 10 years. I could see a nurse practitioner but I prefer to wait for him. His office and staff are always pleasant and kind.

I have been seeing Jaki for almost a decade. She is so kind and patient. She always makes you feel like a friend. We are about to be moving outside of Austin but I will still be driving back to see Jaki for my annuals because SHE IS AMAZING!

I've gone to Dr. Seeker for about 17 years and have always had a good experience.... as good as it can be going to my ob and now my gyn appointments I've delivered Their nurses, lab, and mammography staff are all very friendly and professional!

During the pandemic, it is important to have a safe environment for the women that are pregnant. But they will see those not pregnant, but require wearing a mask. I was in and out very quickly.

Dr. Cowan is amazing! Very caring and professional! We loved him and his great team of nurses and Mrs Lori ! All of them are so friendly and helpful! I will totally recommend him to my friends!

Dr Cowan performed a delicate surgery on me years ago, my minimal scar has blown other dr s minds! Been seeing dr Cowan for years, seen this office grow, with courteous staff, state of the art equipment, and they normally get you in and out pretty quickly!! It s well worth the drive from Kyle..ha!!!

Everyone at Austin Area OBGYN is so nice and that hasn't changed since my first visit in 2001! This time, I saw Lori Dobbin and she is fantastic! She explains everything in detail and has an excellent bedside manner. Also, because there are mammography/bone density exams available on site - they were able to work me in within a half hour of my exam! I got the results of each exam within a few days. I really enjoy the use of an electronic portal to review the results. Free valet parking is an added bonus!!

Dr. Wang and her staff is amazing! They listen to all your concerns and really make sure they give you the best care possible! I feel extremely safe and confident going to them for all my Obgyn needs!

My doctor was called in for a delivery right before my appointment and Melissa very kindly and quickly stepped in to take over my appointment. She is always very kind, thorough & answers all my questions. Highly recommend this practice!
