The lessons at Aureus Academy at KINEX are exactly the right duration for my five-year-old and she really enjoys them. Also, I believe her teacher Carmella is doing a great job of not just teaching her the rudiments of music, but also goes the extra length to keep her interested with new songs, particularly for special occasions such as Christmas and Chinese New Year.
My son attends two instrument classes at Aureus Academy Kinex. He enjoys the classes and loves the teachers. At first, getting him to practise guitar was quite challenging and we wanted to pause the lessons for a while, however teacher Christeven was very patient and was able to engage my son and encouraging him to practise more. The drum teacher Darren is also very patient by making sure to lay the foundation (tempo and rhythm) well in the beginning which helped a lot with his quick progression later on. Both teachers also choose nice pop songs that my son enjoys listening to (won't stop singing). Highly recommended!
My girl enjoys her classes at Aureus very much. Teacher Ruzelle is always so encouraging, fun and patient with her, and never failed to provide us some pointers to take note about my girl's practice. Would recommend Aureus to anyone.
My 6 yo son has been going to Aureus Academy at Kinex for drum and guitar lessons for 1 year now. I highly recommend Aureus and both teachers, Darren and Christeven as they are very patient and encouraging. With the Aureus phone app, it is easy to keep track and change lesson times if needed. Support staff are also helpful and quick to resolve problems. Highly recommended.
Started out trial lesson for my little one with Teacher Darren for drum class. Immediately sign up for the drum class at a breeze and most importantly Teacher Darren also update us each time after lesson on his progress. Admin was also helpful.
Teacher Qianhui is so amazing with her patient and encouraging way to teach my son. The class is fun with knowledge and details. So lucky to have her.
We had a trial lesson with teacher Eugene Too at Aureus Academy Jurong Point. He was very friendly, patient and experienced with children and my son enjoyed his introductory class. Teacher Eugene managed to teach the basics of piano professionally and in a very enjoyable way for my son, and his mastery of piano music shows in his demonstration in class. We ended the trial class with my son being inspired to practice more on the piano everyday, so we signed up on the spot with Ken from HQ, who explained how the curriculum worked. Highly recommended for parents looking for music lessons for their children.

I love Aureus most for their flexibility in scheduling and make-up lesson solution which is really an essential help for parents juggling their kids schedule and also often subjected to unforeseen circumstances such as sickness or any other possibility.
My kids joined Aureus (Kinex) just when COVID and CIrcuit breaker came along and we had to shift the lesson online . There was flexibility given to both my kids that they could share their make up minutes as the younger one was not very adept to online learning then. They also provided extension time of makeup lesson then.
I m also thankful to Teacher Joann Manuel who worked very hard during the online lesson to make it possible for learning to continue. She is also a very accommodating and flexible teacher in regards to what we d like our kids to learn and focus on.
She takes time to give me feedback of my children s learning, keeps communication line open.
The friendly administration for Aureus is also top- notched in service. They are able to respond very quickly to the parents needs and gave very wise advice (Cheryl) . I like that a lot too that they are very helpful most of the time.
