I'm in the process of going to the school right now, and in November I will graduate and walk across the stage to receive my diploma. This is a huge career change for me because I was spent 30 years in the broadcast industry and entertainment field. Cooking is always been a passion of mine and it's now time for me to do what I wanna do in life and become a chef, restaurant owner. I'm really excited about this adventure and Auguste Escoffier has absolutely made it a pleasure and a successful journey so far. The instructors have done everything they can to make sure I'm successful as well as have the full backing of the college, and I'm excited and very proud to be an alumni.

I started attending the online pastry program 3 months ago and so far it has been nothing but a good experience. The chef instructors are super intuitive and always available to reach out to. In my mind I was going to learn how to make cakes. After 3 months we haven't even made a cake yet. But the amount of knowledge and confidence I gained in baking so far is overwhelming. The classes are also conveniently set so you can work on your own weekly schedule.

Currently enrolled in the online program. While the chefs are nice, the school s stipend plan is a joke. The courses are fast paced which can be annoying sometimes. The financial aid office never answer the phone and when they do, they hang up on you. They play with your money when you get financial aid and they give you your stipends whenever they feel like it. They send you a kit when you begin classes and whatever you need after you have to buy until they decide to send you your stipend. I regret signing up for the program but according to them I have to finish because if I withdraw, I ll have to pay the Department of Education. So I m in debt if I finish or not. The school seems very selfish and money hungry to me so think twice before signing up.

After changing my major twice, I decided to enroll in the Pastry Arts online program. I was very curious as to how online culinary school would go, and honesty a little intimidated when I started learning what we would be doing.

Amy first professor was AMAZING and so incredibly sweet. She helped me feel comfortable, and my advisor made sure to keep in touch consistently so if for any reason I were to get overwhelmed, he could help. Every 6 weeks you begin a new session with a new instructor and new techniques/methods! It makes it very fun and interesting. My skills have already improved tremendously and I ve learned SO much! I can officially make a beautiful buttercream drip cake, and it be professional standard! The quizzes and discussion posts are helpful, and they even hold events for online students to attend. Next month I ll be going to a farm-to-table event in Charleston and I m so excited to finally meet some of my fellow classmates!

This school has been completely eye opening and life-changing as far as encouraging me to live my passion, and teaching me to run a successful business. I m set to graduate in May and I ve never felt more proud! Adding some picture of some of the amazing things the school has taught me to make:

I love this School. The curriculum is great and easy to follow. You get tons of resources, literature that really breaks down the history of foods, descriptions and recipes. They also offer tutoring sessions. It is the best choice I've ever made! I wasn't able to attend traditional in class college right after high school due to mental health issues. I had a hard time being in class with others because I have crippling anxiety that has hindered a lot of things in my life. I'm glad I get to attend this school and do it from the comfort of my own kitchen and not have to pay for childcare to go to an actual campus. It allows me to be flexible with work and being a mom. The recipes are delicious, when I serve them, my family and friends love them. It has helped with a lot of self doubt, I felt like I failed because I was too scared to go to school and become the chef I always desired to be and that I would have to choose another career to be able to take online classes, but this has given me confidence and a lot of hope. And the tuition prices aren't terrible either. I'm definitely a proud student.

BE CAREFUL WHEN ASKING FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THIS SCHOOL.
My partner contacted this school a couple months ago about a vegan program and wanted more information. It has been nothing but daily phone calls, many outside business hours, and text messages for enrolling. She ONLY wanted information on the program.
When I finally answered the phone, the person representing this school told me harshly "you only needed to tell us to take you off the call list" but did not take any contact information.
Poor communication, poor customer service, the use of multiple numbers when calling potential students, the lack of giving out information about any of the programs, and the pushing to enroll makes this school look suspicious.
We will definitely not contact this school again.

P.S. To the "owner"... I have already contacted communications via your school. Found the email on other reviews.

I did one of the online programs and I loved everything about it!! My chefs were amazing and knew so much stuff that I was impressed and motivated by them. I learned about so much stuff that helped me open my own Pastry business. I was scared of the online classes because so many say you can t learn anything from it but it was so different with Escoffier. Yes, it is from home but you feel like your instructors are there with you thanks to all the instructions and guidance that they provide! I highly recommend the online program! Here is just a little bit of what you do in the Pastry Program

I strongly believe a school is as much about fit and effort as it is the education itself. For me, Escoffier as exactly the right place offering just the opportunity I needed to gain the credential to break into the Culinary R&D field. I loved the fast-paced, condensed schedule, demanding classes, and even more demanding instructors. I couldn't trade my time at Escoffier for anything. I made lasting friendship and the staff worked hard to ensure I was set up for success when I graduated. For better or worse, I missed my actual graduation ceremony because I was still working in London at the time because the course got me into an amazing restaurant near Kensington. How about that for a reference?

I love this school it is amazing so much fun. The teachers are the best and have to much knowledge and take the time to show you what you are learning. This is the best decision I made. You will not regret it the confidence that you grow from semester semester will definitely get you ready for working in a restaurant.

I m currently doing their online pastry arts program & I absolutely love it. It s very well organized & very professional. The assignments are hands on which I absolutely love- & they have the most friendly & helpful chefs & tutors to help you one-on-one along the way. They even send you your own tool kit & pastry kit to help get you started which I found very fun.
