great theater wonderful interior lots of local and international art well designed

Visited for a conference. Great theater with really nice comfy seats and good a acoustics

Aotea Square is a popular place where lots of events take place such as festivals, fairs, live concerts. You won't miss it when in Auckland

With a large theatre, a small theatre and numerous function and meeting rooms the Aotea Center has a space for any event.
The Aotea Center is right in the heart of the city and has ample parking in the adjacent underground carpark.

Here for a graduation well organised always professional staff seats comfortable clean toilets. Good place for an event or conference.

I really like the Aotea centre, it never seems to be outdated. Seating arrangements are very good, comfortable and seems like all seats have a good view to the stage. I'm not a sound expert but acoustics are very good being able to hear someone talking in the stalls from level 2 seats.

If you are bringing a child or a shorter person, cushions to sit on during the show are available to borrow from the cloak room.

The civic car park is a joke. Half the lifts not working which becomes a major with a wheelchair

We watched APO Midnight, the talent show was amazing. Loved it and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Just wish they would allow eatmylunch catering for events

Went to the ASB threatre in the Aotea Centre to watch Jimmy Carr. Layout and staffing was great, bar was setup well and service was fast. Ticketing and seating was very well done

I went to the Banksy exhibit here, which was fantastic. It's a nice place to show off art.

Semi aging theatre in the sense of scuffed seats and floors, but the loads of wood keeps the focus on performances. Surprisingly large 2nd and 3rd floors. Also, plenty of good seating in the wide open lobbies

Great venue for a conference. Went to Semi-Permanent here. Seating was good and foyer was light and airy. Love the musical stairs!

Great place. Very welcoming. Seats are mostly comfortable but depends how long you have been sitting.

It's ok if you want to see something like magic show acoustics aren't good for musicals.

Great venue for the show, sound and view superb, but queue at half time for drinks etc were so slow we gave up!

Convenient parking at Civic Carpark although late arrivals may find it full. Seating is old and not very comfortable.

Here in the beautiful central square of Auckland is located the multifunctional centre of Aotea Centre theatre, event centre and much more! In the picture connected you can see an installation of sculptures appeared in and for the winter season 2017/2018. Magic in the night time!

Modern and well polished location. Parking is convenient but only in small quantity

Parking Spaces underneath are tiny! Otherwise, lovely venue.

Great venue, easy to get around and plenty of seating

Got arrested for doing coke in the Dreamland bar, fair to say that's the last time I'm going to see Miss Saigon here

As a venue for Rock concerts this is not an ideal place. No room for head banging, lol. Ok for a play, comedy show etc, something along those lines.

Great place to host events or attend them. Easy access, including for those with disabilities. Close by and easy parking and public transport. Staff are friendly, helpful, and competent. Venue is well decorated and light and airy. It is about to undergo a renovation, and we're looking forward to seeing what the future will hold!

Owns the largest theater in Auckland, the exhibition hall outside is slightly worse, the general exhibition is still acceptable

Great venue, good view from most seating, good acoustics. Food and beverage are very expensive, but that's just the way it is.

Visiting events (such as the writers festival) that were held at this venue was a satisfying experience, the venues are full of spacious movie-style chairs and many different levels of elevation to see the stage clearly. It had been kept clean upon visit and well maintained upon departure, you know you are getting quality whilst visiting this venue. Highly recommended for hosting events/tours

Versatile conference centre with a good team to support

Ideal city centre place. Well maintained. A hub of activity ranging from protests, political and social-cultural events. Easily approachable using public transport or on foot. Parking can be a hassle on busy days, in spite of the fact that there is underground parking available at a high casual price.
