I enjoyed the workshops held here. The staff were friendly and helpful. Cafes and other food places are everywhere. I came here for the Auckland Writers Festival and this venue was perfect.

Attended exilecon here and it was a great venue. Smaller than I am used to for conventions in the states but I felt it was payed out well for it's size - especially the main stage.
Great center to relax under the shady trees, read, have lunch, and safe for children.
Great concert and entertainment arena. Unparalleled in size and comfortable seatings. Plenty of atrium spaces for shows and events
Best place for locals and tourist. .. lots of parking. .very well maintained
Been here for a graduation years ago. The building looks nice and it's not to small. Overall I had a very pleasant experience here.
Concert. APO & Cirque. Very Disappointing concert. Audience rubbish. Hall pretty good.
Love this place especially the fact that I work here is truly a blessing
An arena for all big events in Auckland, never disappoints
Good.our seats tight legs.my knees against back of seat.lm under 6 foot.
Very bad organiser for so called entertaining Centre. The Centre working hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. When I wanted to visit ongoing art exhibition featuring the Great Banksy simply I kissed a closed door. So, there is no way any working person to attend this event after working hours. I am very angry having no chance to see the art of my famous artist. Shame on you, the Aotea Centre management.
A great venue for formal ceremonies such as university graduations.
Bathrooms are getting tired and a tap decided to splash me when it came on with too much force, the convention chairs were uncomfortable, the door to the room wouldn't shut, and an exit door to the room wouldn't lock. Staff were friendly though.
Had the pleasure of seeing Jo Bonamassa here in October 2016! Great memories and awesome venue.
Great place to see a show. Easy parking. And safe. Access from lots of sngkes. Good seats throughout.
Comfortable, invitingly interesting, convenient, excitingly relaxing, clean and family friendly. Very accessible for all.
Extremely confusing to find your way around. Food in general looks average. Good movie theaters and very handy parking
Excellent for the University of Auckland graduation ceremony.
A wonderful atmosphere and a place to meditate a beautiful of the most beautiful moments when I visit
Variety of venues, lots of (non-free) parking. Bar with ice-creams for intermission.
Just a day to prepare for the NZ Food Awards with about 300 attendees after convention centre fire and did a great job.
Excellent place and the city needs it for us people.
Wow. Amazing improvements to Aotea Centre. The new video installation by Lisa Reihana is brilliant.
Loved the place, Great architecture and acoustics..
Perfect seats,views and shows.
Most of Banksi works really very good. I found the exit stalls a bit "cheap"
20Nov16 Service, space, ability to move to seats without incorporating inconveniencing too many seated patrons, intermission facilities, car parking, ease of reach using buses yada yada .. all very good. An asset for Auckland. I have attended performances and managed performances - giving or receiving the action .. the facilities are good.
Went there for a graduation and found the space beautiful! Lighting and acoustics were great!
Was here for my mum's graduation comfortable seats nice big hall.
Beautiful venue
Do hope that we have chance to enjoy some of the show on our next visit to Auckland
Good place in the centre of Auckland for ceremonies
David Bowie Starman .. nz I'm proud of your musical talent
The Aotea Centre is a smoothly run venue, the only issue we have encountered is with the hoards emptying out of the theatre having to queue for quite some time to use the car parking pay machines. That is more an issue with the carpark, but if you have the option to pre-pay it is wise to do so
Beautiful, modern building with great venues for musicals, stand-up, theatre and live music.
Alison Moyet concern. Clean, comfortable seating, and good view of the stage.
A great day for so many students and parents and families.
I couldn't explore as much as I would like to. But I was astonished for what I saw. There was a photo and video gallery where women tell their stories and experiences.

(10/2016)
central place for most of CBD celebrations / outdoor events.
well organized and friendly staff.
good ambiance.
Love the Aotea Centre. Box office easy to deal with, the bar is nice and the theatre was lovely too.
Not family friendly, claustrophobic when sitting above in theatre, unsafe-no railing
Nice venue, easy to get to, extremely helpful staff
Living in Auckland or a tourist ...you should visit
Generally good but points off because last 4 shows we've seen here were almost intolerable due to insufficient air conditioning during hot and humid weather.
Excellent venue, Very nice food, very nice pick of floor staff. Perfect audio video and lighting system to support the best of conferences and seminars.
Plenty of space to be enjoyed here - even it is by thousands of striking teachers!
Always such great people and service here. Beautiful space.
Attended a show with my kids school. We were seated at the top but were still able to hear everything clearly. Bathroom facilities are located conveniently close by when you exit the theater. Seats are very comfortable.
Multiple venues to cater for different sized groups
The show was of hi quality as expected given the price.
Good accoustics and good views from most seats but the seats can be a bit hard after an hour or so and there is not enough legroom between the seat rows unless you are sitting in a seat next to the aisle or in a few rows at the very front
