Atlantis Casino Resort Spa Review

Great buffet and casino, I enjoyed it and would recommend this place to anyone!

Great Casino, well designed, fantastic restaurants.. Had the best birthday dinner here a few years ago with the love of my life.. The best escargot..

Old , dated , smokey, spa is ok but dont drink the fancy cucumber water they fill it up in the locker room closet out of a spigot. Dont use the cold towels they are put on the shower floor to make them wet . Therapist are snotty, micro managing, depressing casino! Pay their employees very little. Love the rainbow colors and all the purple though! Front hotel the conceirge is awesome he is so friendly!

The food is well served and the waitress are very nice everything is clean and I totally reccomand it.

We were lured in by the thousands of positive reviews and pristine-looking photos displayed on the site. At first when we arrived, we immediately noticed the various hotel employees standing around not helping us get our many bags through the two sets of doors. The lobby was covered in reflective surfaces and bright lights to create the illusion of sophistication and elegance. This illusion was quickly shattered upon our entering, when we were greeted with the stank fumes of cigar smoke long since having soaked into every piece of furniture there. We were also struck by the visibly drunk patrons staggering around the space.

When we approached the registration desk we were startled by the manner of the 'receptionist', who barely greeted us. There was no effort to sound friendly or remotely interested in providing assistance or a sense of welcome. At this point, we were already having doubts as to whether or not Atlantis Casino Resort Spa was the place we ought to spend the next two nights. When the 'receptionist' asked us to confirm the length of our reservation and we told her that we weren't sure this was right place, there was no expression of concern or interest in any way our experience could be improved. Instead we were simply instructed to come back on down to the desk before noon the next day if we wanted to check out early. Also noteworthy was the fact that out of a line of desks stretching all the way down the main lounge, the receptionist we interacted with was the only one on duty.

Despite our misgivings, we navigated to the floor of our reservation. The hallway of the 'spa' floor we were located on was covered in plastic sheets and half done paint jobs. The renovation looked as if it had been abandoned part way through. The floor felt devoid of life. The doors to each room were visibly plastic. Walking down the hallways literally felt like a scene out of The Shining. But we were exhausted after close to a day of traveling and wanted to give it a chance, so we keyed into our room and opened the door, only to find that it reeked even worse of cigar than the lobby had. At this point we were through. Returning to the receptionist's desk, we again encountered a distinct feeling of being just another bothersome customer dissatisfied with the service provided taking up a few minutes of her long night as we canceled our reservation. There was no inquiry into why we were leaving or semblance of empathy.

TLDR; do not stay here. Lack of professionalism, unsanitary, inhospitable. Probably should be shut down. If we could, we would give this place negative stars.

We went to have a very good time over here last week but unfortunately the two table players were constantly talking and varsity or some other language to guy named Rezaaa Disappointed me so much so we did not have redefined on the table so we decided to leave and where in tear down time and had some really great experience he probably might not come back again I m just in would not suggest anybody to go there anymore

Top of the line. Beautiful. Kept up compare to other resorts in Reno. It was sad to see how run down Harrahs has gotten. It was my favorite 15 years ago.

Haven't been to the Toucan buffet since before the remodel. The overall selection doesn't seem as vast and the quality seems to have suffered somehow. They no longer have the peel-n-eat shrimp, either. Only positives, were the service/drink refills and the desserts are great.

Front end management are terrible. Namely Tom Mahoney. First off, we asked for and upgrade on a Tuesday, he said he couldn't. Really? Tuesdays are that busy? He dresses like a slob and really needs to brush his hair and teeth.

Hello freaking fabulous! Love the pool its just perfect

This is one of the best places to stay in Reno. I I've stayed in most of the better options in Reno, but none of them are quite as well put together as Atlantis. You don't often hear any noises in the rooms, it's clean, and the king bed in the luxury room was sooo comfortable. We've stayed here a few times and we're never disappointed. Atlantis has a really cool, chill lounge area near the concierge desk. Their games are great. Also, they have the best buffet... and I don't even like buffets. Usually buffet food is mediocre or average at best.

Free valet. Clean casino. Akin to a medium grade Vegas casino. A good start to a Lake Tahoe vacation. Rooms could use an upgrade.

Awesome place. Fantastic Buffet and the Manhattan Deli is superb. Also upstairs you can't beat the Seafood Restaurant.

Love the rooms. Very comfortable bed and atmosphere.

Best spa in Reno, indoor and outdoor pools for my kids is perfect. Also, they offer the best food found in any Reno casino hotel.

I was here for 5 days for the American legion convention and we had an awesome time.
The rooms and atmosphere is wonderful the staff is very accommodating. I have enjoyed my time at the Atlantis very much the restaurants are top notch. I would like to say thank you and I highly recommend them.

Great rooms at affordable prices. Awesome indoor pool ,kids love it.

Great hotel and awesome slots. I won all night long. New machines are really paying big! Food was delicious at the Manhattan deli. Very large portions. Enough for two people. Cabbage rolls were tasty. Hotel room was comfy with a chaise lounge too. This is the place to have fun time and win big. Never disappointed. Enjoy if you're in the area

The non-smoking hotel room was great, especially the mattress. Slept like a dream. The spa was also excellent.

You want experience how a Casino looked like in the 90s ... perfect place not my cup of tea though

This casino is nevadas best casino, from their food and gift shop as well as gaming, events, shows, and fabulous employees you can't go wrong, it's enjoyable, slot tournaments are here and are awesome and don't forget to download their app because if you have a players card it's a big help to see your offers and your can then make reservations in advance as well, no waiting for mail. Thank goes to the owner of this casino and his vision, if you want a casino that pays then you want this casino and NO other casino can be even close to what Atlantis casino resort and spa can ever be. We had an Amazing stay! The room was clean, the staff was great and our drinks while gambling were delicious!!! We will be staying again!!!

Excellent happy hour. 1/2 Appetizers are all wonderful along with the 1/2 price wines. If you are in Reno , you must stop here

It's nice to check out & walk around inside. Also you can smoke on the inside of the casino.....im not used to seeing that h granted I don't smoke.

We stay here sometimes, and it has a lot of amenities.
