Solid hotel, great for business travel. They have a 24/7 lounge with snacks and beverages available. Friendly staff at the front desk. I was greeted by Alexis with a smile and helpful information about the hotel. I'd stay here again, was traveling just one night for a work trip. Close to Lennox Mall and walking distance to most Buckhead restaurants and other hotels. It was a good stay!

The place was great and was up to the Marriott standard. Only issue I had was that I requested late checkout and was trying to catch a nap from 12 - 1 during the lunch break at a conference I was at. But, gave up after I was woken up a second time by aggressive steaming staff coming into the room even after I spoke to them and confirmed with them I had requested late crack out. It s not really a huge deal but detracted from the overall experience a bit.

I booked a room through priceline, I contacted customer service multiple times about early check-ins and was told to call on my way to Atlanta. I called numerous times and did not get an answer. After a long day in Atlanta we went to go check in our hotel to find out the hotel is CLOSED! Then there was a notes saying we would be accommodated at other hotels. Called all hotels on the list and drove to 2 of them to be told they had nothing with my name. I had to get a refund on my room and drive all the way back home.

Service wasn't great. The staff was rude, especially the valet. Things did turn around after they changed my room. Neither the AC nor the fridge worked in my first room, but by the time I figured it out, it was too late to do anything about it. They moved me to a better room for the 2nd night and it was better. On the whole, I felt like my stay was a complete inconvenience to the staff. Maybe it's just me, but it wasn't awesome.

If not for the staff, I would have given this hotel a 4 star. Don't get me wrong, the hotel itself is really nice and clean, and it's also in a prime location. It's in walking distance to the Lenox mall and a bunch of shops and restaurants. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle available to take you around town within a 3mile radius; I will definitely take advantage of that the next time I stay there. Parking is a bit pricey (I think it was $38 for valet and $28 to self park). But again, like every major city, parking will be expensive.
Now let me get to the reason I gave the hotel a 5 star. The manager and the entire staff were amazing, very polite and respectful. I had a late flight back to San Francisco and asked if I could do a super late checkout; to my biggest surprise, the manager allowed me checkout at 5pm. This has never happened to me before. With the exception of American Express' fine hotel 4pm late checkout, the latest I've checked out of any hotel is 1pm. The manager allowing me to stay till 5pm, the location, cleanliness of the hotel, and the professionalism of the staff is why I'm giving this hotel 5stars. Anytime I decide to stay in Buckhead, Atlanta Marriott will be my hotel until I feel otherwise.

The lobby of this Marriott is very nice. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The room was kind of gross. The bathroom ceiling had hairs stuck to it (how does that even happen?). The tub took forever to drain after a shower. The arm chair was dirty and stained, and the side table was missing a chunk of veneer. The marble on top of the dresser was cracked and glued back together (but not very well). A white mystery powder was on one of the dresser drawer handles. The lamp shades were dirty and dented. Overall the room was tired and grubby.

Poor customer services

Poor customer services
Poor cleanliness
Poor hospitality

We arrived to this location and our room was filthy. Had brown liquid splashed on the walls. White residue splashed on the back of both head boards. Lip stick on sheets and wall next to bed. & the floor wasn t vacuumed. Staff moved us to another room and the bed sheets had black spots all over them and the comforter was dirty as well.

This is a major concern especially under the circumstances of COVID-19. We decided to leave the hotel in all.

Contacted afterwards by General Manager, explained experience no further response

I have never stayed at this property before. I will never stay again.
I booked 1 night suite with breakfast for 2 adults & children at the hotel. I tried to call the property, but all extensions go to the main reservations number. Marriott Executive Office could not get through to the hotel. When I arrived, they said they didn't take direct calls due to Covid and short staffing. My reservation turned into a one room king. Why would parents want to share a room with their kids? So they gave us double beds? REALLY. Being 2 in the morning & explaining for an hour, I just took the room.

The front desk seemed to have plenty of time to answer a call during my stay as there were hardly any guests that night. As I had a conversation explaining my issues, the front desk supervisor decided to take on other customers.

The GM was just as inept and "busy" as the others when I asked for him. With only a handful of guests, it is no surprise that the property is in disarray. No communication with guests.
The worst part was security talking about a death in a room across the hall. I overheard them in the hall when headed to the bathroom in my room.
The front desk agent, Francis, who knew what to do the moment I began explaining my plight. Apparently he s used to cleaning up the night shifts ignorant shenanigans. He tried to assist but the same management botched it once I returned. There are 2 front desk clerks that were fabulous. Pretty lashes & the guy had dreads...AMAZING!!! 2 outta 20 employees is terrible. Not good odds. Kitchen staff... tops!!!
That was my last stay at this property. Do not stay here if you value your sanity and time. If you don t care about customer service, security or them honoring your reservation then you re in the right place.

I wish I could post the voice conversation and pics. I will on my socials. They were that bad in real life!!!

They will respond with some blanketed nonsense. I ll figure out how to load these conversations and you all see/hear for yourselves and save your money. Do not stay at the Atlanta Marriot Buckhead Conference Center. Spend a little more at JW or a little less at the residence inn.

Time to clean house Marriot. Everyone in the Night Shift for the front desk has to go. They are not on brand with Marriot. They re more like motel 6.

We had such a great experience in this hotel. We were arriving from a very early flight with our toddler. The personnel were very helpful and accommodated us. The room was really comfortable which made our experience even better. We recommend this hotel and we hope to come back soon.

I've stayed at this Marriott so many times that the folks in the M Club know me by name! This hotel has become a second home to me and even if there are better rates at the JW I always come here because the staff are fantastic. From the Front Desk to the Concierge to the M Club to the restaurant these guys just rock it. Super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile, this Marriott makes me feel like family every time I visit. As for the hotel itself, you seriously cannot beat the location. Within walking distance of two MARTA Stations it's ultra convenient to get anywhere and with the mall across the street you're not going to starve or be able hunt for bargains. I've seriously never had a bad experience here and it's hard for me not to stay here when I'm in Buckhead. About the only thing you can nit-pick them on is that w/the exception of the first floor (which has been completely redone and modernized...24/7 M Club...YASSS!) the rooms are still the old Marriott style (gold/yellow/red) and not the fresh modern feel of the newer rooms. If you're a longtime Marriott loyalist (raises hand), it's not really a big deal and will not take away from you enjoyment of the hotel.
