It is an excellent place to spend an afternoon wit...
It is an excellent place to spend an afternoon with a coffee or another drink, its river landscape makes it really wonderful.

Very Scenic location on the banks of the Chattahoochee. It's located in an gated apartment community, it's difficult to fine for first time visitors, be careful about scheduling a meeting there.
Great place next to the river! Very relaxed ambiance. Good coffee too! They have limited seating and you have to ring-in at the main gate to enter.
Nice spot to sip on some coffee and enjoy the view of the Chattahoochee!
Open to the public on weekdays, the Chattahoochee Coffee Company features some awesome outdoor views. The coffee is good, but the atmosphere is excellent if you love the outdoors and a scenic view.
Decent coffee, great location. Be aware they recently changed where their customer parking is. Turn left immediately after entering the complex.
Come here for the view of the Chattahoochee River and you will not be disappointed. Come here for the Coffee and you will be disappointed all the while burning a hole in your pocket. Remember it is open only to the residents on weekends.
Best coffee in Atlanta and has great view of outdoors. Good place to relax and pray.
Relaxing place despite the ongoing construction with beautiful views of river
The coffee here is well worth the interesting entrance. I actually thought I had the wrong address., But pull up to the gate and follow the instructions! They'll buzz you in. The bagel I had was wonderful and warm. My peppermint mocha was Divine. I will definitely return!
Very well maintained. Great view and nice friendly people hanging out. It gets crowded on a Friday. But there's always a place to sit outside if the coffee shop tables are all taken. As far as food goes, their pastries tastes good and coffee too. Lovely place.
Tiny place inside an apartment complex.... But they are open to the public and have a breathtaking view of the river
As good as everyone says! Get there early to guarantee a good spot, because it gets busy. Getting in is easy, just press their call button and say you re there for coffee. Incredible view and delicious coffee!
I live next door and really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere and the view is amazing. But they took 45mins to take our order even though there were only 8 people in front of us. We got the latte, the hot chocolate and a banana strawberry smoothie. They all tasted HORRIBLE!!! The latte tasted off for some reason and the milk had sort of split even though i asked for whole milk and not non dairy milk. The hot chocolate literally tasted like ready mix powder!!! And the smoothie was ice with fake essence. Sorely disappointed. The 2 stars is for the view. Not the coffee house. Never coming back here.
Awesome Awesome Awesome..
Enjoy Nature with Coffee.
This place is great. As others have mentioned, located at the end of an apartment complex, so you have to call the shop at the gate, but the call box is clearly marked with the code number. Has a great view of the river. Also my favorite tasting coffee in Atl. All the employees here are really into coffee, which I like. For instance, they ask if you're drinking it there, and, if so, they give you and actual ceramic coffee cup. Most places, try to sneak the paper cup on you, so they don't have to clean it afterwards.
Great coffee, little pricey but best views of the Chattahoochee. Coal grills and seating on the grounds. Given that it is in a closed community, it is not open for the public over the weekend. Also, if the cafe is at full capacity, they close it for public during the week too. Check in advance if you re driving from far.
Beautiful views... Not open to nonresidents on the weekends or holidays though
This coffee house is located at the most beautiful place. Do not miss this place.
Great spot for views of the river. There are benches and chairs set up along the river so you can sit and enjoy. Coffee was decent but I suspect you come here for the view and serenity.
One of the most beautiful places you will ever buy a Frappuccino.
Great coffee! Access is wonky though. It's within the Walton on the Chattahoochee apartment complex, so you have to call the shop from the gate. Parking is limited. They will deny access when the lot is full. Great view of the river though!
One of our favorite places to go in Atlanta! You can get away from it all, while still near the city.
Amazing views of the rapids on the Chattahoochee! Great coffee, just an all around spectacular coffee shop to go relax and read a book or walk by the river.
Beautiful scenery. Right above the water! Good coffee, groovy music, nice staff. I wish there were more convenient seating to get a good view of the river, though the seating that is available is sufficient.
Awesome place and nature ..like last time service was very bad. is open till 8:00 PM...we went 7:00 PM yesterday and they don't let us go in.. they stop letting people IN at 7..very disappointed !
This place is right on the river and has a wonderful area to enjoy your coffee. Their french press is a great deal and they have great baked goods
I ordered the chai latte and it just tasted like warm milk and wasnt very good at all for 4$ but the view and spot is perfect for studying. If it wasnt for the view I would ve given it a 1 star
Staff is very kind and friendly. Beautiful views and even better customer service.
Great place you have to visit the scenery is awesome
great place for coffee, excellent views. the riverside is serene...a must do for all the folks in atlanta. just make sure respect the privacy of the residents.
Amazing place with great coffee and an awesome view.
Live the drip coffees and exotic flavors. The staff are knowledgeble and able to make great suggestions. Excellent environmwnt.
Delicious, traditional cappuccino with an amazing view!
Iced coffee was weak. We asked them to add more concentrate. There are some very nice spots outside. I don't recommend going to sit inside if you don't live in the complex
I've tried to come here 3 times and every time I do it's either closed when they should be open or it's "at capacity." It's incredibly dumb that it's in a gated community. That's the last time I try coming here.
One of the beautiful spots in Atlanta area - take a great coffee and sit on the river.
The inspiration triggered by the views is priceless
It s such a beautiful place to study! Arrived at 9:45am on a Thursday and barely got a table. However, the bustle inside this coffeehouse felt very warm and inviting. It s a great place to catch up, get work done, or even go on a date- right on the river! Only negative is that it s in an apartment complex where you need to call the gate to get in and visitor parking is a 2-3 min walk away. Nothing to complain about with the actual coffee/pastries.
Loved this coffee shop but found out that it is no longer accessible to outside customers over the weekend. This should be clearly noted in all online profiles so people don't waste driving all the way down, esp. when they have time on the weekend. So long Chattahoochee Coffee Company!
Awesome Location, friendly staff and one of the strongest Cappuccino I have had kept me up all night.
Definitely a visit for the location.
Coffee is good but I'd rather brew my own and go to one of the nearby trails.
Had the four berry smoothie, it tasted weird and bad, very disappointing. Love the river though.
I ve been here many times for many different occasions. I am absolutely in love with this coffee shop that butts up right on the river. There s a short hiking trail that I like to climb, but if I m looking for a relaxing place to read, I ll sit in the hammock and watch the water flow past. I ve even seen some cool wildlife here even a Bald Eagle! Will always and forever recommend this hidden Atlanta gem.
Really gorgeous postcard-esque grounds; one of my favorite places in all of Atlanta to take friends to. The baristas have also always been very nice when I've visited.
I would easily give this place 5 stars primarily because it's indeed well worth the visit (a friend of mine from out of town even looked into living at the community after we visited the coffee shop). That said, I must either be having bad luck or the ATL community is just rapidly catching onto this place... because slightly more than half of the times I've tried to visit (6 out of 11 in the past 3 months), the gate code is deactivated to the public during the week because the coffee shop parking lot is evidently full. This has resulted in a lot of canceled/changed-on-the-fly hangouts with friends and family. So the inconsistency of access somewhat tinges my experience.
The gate access does not seem to be restored accurately/timely either. There have been long stretches of time when at least 4 or 5 parking spots were available but the gate was still closed. I'm sure it's a hard logistical challenge and there are no easy answers. I wish there existed a pedestrian access gate somewhere - that way people could park elsewhere (saves parking space!) and walk in. As it stands, there's a bit of "gamble your chances to access" headache.
Five stars because of the amazing view. You have to know someone to get in since it is located within a gated apartment complex.
Great coffee and beautiful setting sitting either inside or outside, especially down by the river. The indoor seating area is very nice with comfortable plush chairs and sofas as well as tables. The only complaint I have is that the pastries don't live up to their looks. This was our second visit, and the pastries have seemed like they are not fresh, mostly on the harder edges. My large bacon and cheese pastry needed more than 1 smallish slice of bacon and a strip of cheese. Also, the cold drink section below the pastry case was not cooling and everything was at room temperature. We will go back but will probably get something to eat elsewhere.
I was really looking forward to trying this "best kept secret" but I couldn't get thru the gate to get there. I called the shop and the woman who answered replied "yeah, sorry, the gate isn't working. We can't do anything about it" It's a wonder they are still in business! I will not waste my time again trying to go to a place that can't be bothered to allow access to their "hip" spot.
Arrived and a sign said coffee shop is at capacity, please try again soon! . So we never tried it. I suggest calling ahead before you go to make sure they are able to let you in.
Coffee is no better or worse than a hundred other little shops around town. Ostensibly you'd be going for the river-side seating. Just know that you'll be parking in a gated apartment complex (the shop is in the back of it, weird), and that if none of the coffee shop parking spaces are free, you can park in the residential parking (avoid the "future residents" lot, or you'll be sorry).
This place is beautiful. It's inside an apartment complex, so it's awkward pulling up to the visitor call box and calling them to open the gate. But, the views are worth it.
What s not to love? BEAUTIFUL scenery, DELICIOUS coffee, FRIENDLY service, COZY atmosphere. My favorite not-so-hidden of a gem coffee house!
I give 5 stars just for the scenery. I can, and have, spent entire days on the deck, patio, and by river here. I buy something just to be a patron and leave a big tip because I m here so long.
The actual coffee shop is just average.
Nice area to work at with plenty of space, especially outdoors. Nice staff and good beverages!
Always quiet and peaceful, especially with the Chattahoochee River right out the window
Nice local coffee place in a convenient location right along the river you can even hop out of your ass and go grab some coffee if need be and their Baristas are really skilled unfriendly I've always loved my visits there, and I've never been disappointed with what I got
A lovely peaceful joint to sip a cup of joe and enjoy the river.
Thanks to Yelp, found this West Side hipster coffee utopia while on a recent visit to Atlanta. Complete with reclaimed wood EVERYTHING, the vibe was very cool.
Seemingly located in some kind of residential complex, it felt like it was out in the middle of nowhere (City Kid Flag Waving) but there were plenty of students, so thinking that is must be near a university.
The wifi was strong, the seating plentiful, power outlets within reach, and the coffee tasty.
Smug San Francisco coffee and ambiance snob seal of approval.
Coffee is average, scenery is amazing, staff needs to find something else to do with there life.
Nice coffee shop with a beautiful view of the river. Only that could be better is by extending the hours some.
Pretty amazing place to chill and relax your mind and ideas
Very scenic area outside. Coffee was good and warm. Friendly staff. Would be an ideal place to write a book.
Something for the local residents but cannot beat Dunkin or Starbucks
Quaint location right on the river, with good selection of coffee based refreshments.
Sweet little coffee house tucked in the back of an apartment complex, right on the Chattahoochee. Comfortable and inviting with welcoming staff and plenty of places to sit both inside and out on the deck. Relax, work, or just take in the beautiful views. It s open to the public on weekdays but Saturday and Sunday it s residents only. Definitely worth a visit if you re in the area.
You'll think you're driving on an apartment complex, but wait for it!!! The views from this unique coffee spot are incredible! Great for meetings, relaxing, working, or sight seeing.
