Beeyoooooteeefull view on the river. I never knew the Chattahoochee could be blue and clear! The coffee was good enough. Nearly ten dollars for just two coffee drinks overmuch IMO, but I paid for the view on a gorgeous spring like winter day. Lovely.

Counter Culture Coffee is pretty amazing coffee-- if you're a coffee kind of person, trying one the brews would be really good! I got a french press small once... it was a little too much caffeine for me, but the coffee was great.

I also really love the views-- great view of the water with the outdoor seating. There's even some seating closer to the water if you want that as well. I just like being up high to see it all :)

My favorite coffee shop around town!!!

I almost hate to promote this great secret little coffee shop. You enter through the gated Walton on the Chattahoochee apartment complex. Press the button that says Chattahoochee Coffee company and they will let you in. It's in the back and on the beautiful Chattahoochee River. After you've had your Java fix, I recommend walking down by the river and they have a beautifully landscaped forest hill you should consider walking through. It's a very special, peaceful retreat. They've done a great job.

SO. MUCH. YES.

SO. MUCH. YES.
I love this place. It's an absolute gem of Atlanta. This place has good coffee, lots of room both inside and outside, and an incredible view.Great place to get work done or lounge in a hammock and read a book. Nice place to go after a hike at Cochran Shoals or East Palisades Indian Trail. Highly, highly recommend. Great place to take out of town guests.

TIP: Inside of the Walden apartment complex (gated apartment complex). Dial 101 at the call box to be let in. Drive all the way to the back to park (there are signs once you get into the apartment complex).

Even on cold day, it was nice to come there for coffee. Due to covid policies, there were only two tables for company like 3+ people, I think. The coffee was pretty strong which is definitely a plus. The atmosphere was super peaceful and nice. I will definitely come back here on sunny day to walk near the water and sit on the terrace.

Can not say enough of this place.. a perfect place for lazy weekend. A riverside coffee place. Went there with friends n we spent nearly 4 hrs. The coffee and walks along the river could really give you the much needed break.

Be sure to be there early as the parking gets full too often.

Like most people here, i hesitate to write this in fear of other people knowing about it, but must give credit where deserved. This is the single most beautiful coffee shop and setting in the Atlanta Area. I cannot believe it s maintained by the apt complex it must cost a fortune. Bring your dog, kids, stuff to grill, and a tube

Beautiful surroundings. Service was subpar. Store could use a little more PERSONality. Good coffee tho. Wouldn't make a special trip for it unless I was in the area. Not a ton of indoor seating, a la Starbucks.

A good coffee place. However, I got a less hot cappuccino but the taste was excellent. The strawberry smoothie was extra sweet. What add glory to the coffee is the riverside view where yo u can have it. Free WiFi available but with a view like this I would just stare at water for ages.

The view and location was perfection. I personally didn t like the coffee, but people have different tastes so perhaps you ll like it. I believe you can only get there on a weekday which is a bummer, so I can t go with my boyfriend, but I can visit during the weekdays by myself. Oh well.. anyway. I ll be back, you really can t beat the view.

I was so confused the first time I heard of this place. A coffee shop by the river sounded great...but what do you mean it's inside an apartment complex?

Don't let the gated community fool you. It actually makes me feel special everytime I dial in and the gates open...almost as if I was part of an secret elite society of coffee lovers.

The atmosphere...no other place in Atlanta can beat these views!
The coffee...marvelous!
The fact it's not a multimillion dollar corporation but a locally owned brew shop determined to do good in this world...priceless!

I have been a regular for the past 3 years and I couldn't see myself going to another coffee spot in Atlanta to enjoy a cup of joe and relaxing with the view. You have to definitely give it a go!

This place is great, but it's in the Walton community behind the security gate. You can call the Coffee Shop and have them buzz you in, but if their parking lot spaces are full, they might now. But the outdoor area by the river is fantastic to sit and enjoy your beverage.

This place is a hidden gem. A friend asked me to meet him here to go over work. After getting extremely frustrated with Google Maps because it kept trying to lead me into a gated community, I called my friend who did, "yup! You have to buzz them on the callbox."

Once I parked in the designated area and walked to the coffee spot, the view blew me away. STUNNING. The coffee is $2.50 for a small drip (I always think of Martin Crane on Frasier throwing a fit at Cafe Nervosa because a cup of coffee was $1.50. Boy, would he be unhappy!) but that's the standard rate these days and with the free wifi, plenty of outlet by the tables, the view and the breeze, is probably pay $5 a cup.

Really cool location! The coffee and treats are all delicious- they even have matcha. It's just annoying to get to sometimes because you have to use a call box to get in due to it being in a neighborhood. Sometime the line backs up really bad along the highway and it's not the safest.

I had a mocha blended frappe. I could taste the coffee and was THE BEST mocha that I have had in a very long time! Great atmosphere, peaceful and serene near the river and great for meditation and or reflexion.

A Counter Culture shop in an idyllic setting. Just go. You may feel weird driving into an apartment complex, but push past that and you'll experience the best coffee in that curious corner of Marietta/Atlanta.

The place has a great view and environment but difficult to get to. It s gotten overtly crowded as of late, but I appreciate them putting the sign outside of the apartment complex when it gets full so you don t have to come in to find that out.

This is by far my favourite coffee place in Atlanta. The only thing is it is open to non residents only during the week. It is absolutely gorgeous! There is no better view of the river. It is a hidden gem
